Probably the worst council in the UK. After the Donnygate scandal, where several councillors were jailed for fraud and corruption, you'd think they would have learned. Not a bit. Still appalling. Send an email and it bounces back undelivered. Phone and they promise to ring back. Never happens. Send a letter. Never see a response. Useless.

waited 20 mins to get a 2 minute request sorted. would have been better if the staff wasn't sat chit chatting for 15-20 mins and actually did their job!

When I called up to ask for some sand bags to prevent flooding I was told that COUNCIL WORKERS are being given priority first. Naturally I was not impressed and was told I was being 'aggressive' - I was merely questioning this. Corrupt, disgusting behaviour. Look after the citizens who pay your wages and not just after yourselves. Disgusting corrupt cretins.

Extremely unhelpful and rude! These calls are recorded for training?? Sack the training department!

Called up over 4 this week as my bins wasn t collected still hasn t been solved why can t people do their jobs what s the point off council tax when they can t do the basics and collect the bins all ways making up excuses

After sitting listening to my friend,a stroke survivor try to get help from social services,I was disgusted by the treatment she received,the animal on the other end of the phone was rude,obnoxiousness,uncaring and offered no help in the slightest other than "tell me what you want".she should be sacked and the whole department needs assessing and sorting out, shame on you.

Useless beyond belief. Nothing ever gets done. No matter what the problem is you will spend hours hanging on the phone and when you finally get to talk to somebody you will be fobbed off with the usual empty promises but they will NEVER actually do anything. Pretty much exactly what you'd expect from a council who not so long ago had half their elected councillors in jail for corruption.

The UK's most CORRUPT council. Was told on the phone by a staff member that they will 'let her off because shes my friend' but that I have to pay doncaster council the money. This council actually used to be run from a prison cell when all the local councillors were put inside for corruption. Nothing has changed it is still extremely corrupt with extremely rude staff. Want something done? You better be related to the workers or be prepared to pay a bribe.

Rude staff but if you try talking to them with a bit of a tone in your voice they get all shirty!

There are areas where you can't find a trash can but you will find at least 4 employees of the town hall ready to fine you for a cyst. It's a way to earn money. Why put trash cans?

Worst council in the uk. They go out of their way to make it difficult for You to do anything on their website. Only want my blue badge you d think I was asking for the queens bank details. They want proof of the most unrelated documents just to make it harder so you don t bother applying. I ve never disliked an organisation as much as I do my own council. Just disgusting!!

They are a waste of time, the Doncaster council supposed to be were u get the help you need and get your things sorted, I applied for my son's school transfer since August were in October and my son still isn't school.When I tried to ask them why! I am getting the run around and nobody is helping.Thank you council Doncaster for doing nothing and still continues to do nothing.

Very unhelpful staff which don't do anything which they say will do on the phone. 2nd time very poor response from council like they don't care.

Why does my bin never get emptied? Last week my blue bin was forgotten about this week mt green bin hasn't been touched. No note left or anything. Absolutely useless. I have the biggest garden on my new build estate and my grass gets cut sometimes twice a week! I cannot cope with having a full garden waste bin. What is the point in council tax when they don't look after us!?

How many times does the council need to be informed about the state of the Lakeside? The amount of rubbish, plastic bottles, bags - you name it, it s there. Phone calls, emails and photos provided to the council have achieved nothing. Poor birds are pecking at the plastic floating in the water, grass verges are absolute disgrace. With numerous spring clean public drives going on nationwide, there appears to be no capable person at the council to organise anything locally

Absolutely disgraceful service! It's bad enough that they do not collect fly tipped rubbish when requested but to add insult to injury they do not even have the decency to respond to official complaints about such.

It's no wonder Doncaster is steadily going further and further down hill.

With the influx of foreigners into Doncaster over the last few years the Council Tax pot must be overflowing! Where is all this extra money going? It certainly isn't going on keeping Doncaster tidy, that's for sure.

Let's hope we aren't on the verge of another Donnygate, the money must be going somewhere. For anyone who doesn't know, Donnygate was a Labour run Council scandal back in the 1990s, several councillors went to prison for fraud.

They make things up as they go along so they dont have to deal with you just fob you off

I cannot express my absolute gratitude for the 2 ladies who work on the housing side..Sheila and Marie (occupation therapist)..youve helped me achieve my 1 goal..giving me my elderly parents a bungalow 5 minutes away from me. To know my mam isn't long on this land..she will end her days in her new home..this i could not do without your help. My gratitude is forever yours.

WHY does it take 8 weeks before the council will take action for NON payment of rent for a landlord before thy will look to see if the tenant is cheating the council for claiming money to pay for rent for the landlord. THY ARE CHEATING YOU More

Where are the missing millions? Council was given millions by govt to stop FLOODING but it ended up in Councillors pockets, meanwhile the town is under water. 10 PEOPLE SO FAR WILL BE PROTESTING TOMORROW OUTSIDE CORRUPT COUNCIL OFFICES. JOIN US.

Only there to help friends. The individual I dealt with - marie rhodes - was completely horrible and unhelpful. The only thing this council succeeds in is treating flood victims badly and being corrupt and rude.

I have tried to report some flytipping to which i have been fobbed off. Even after i made a complaint the council have still ignored this environmental disgrace!

After calling up repeatedly (at my cost) about the rubbish DUMPED outside my home and listening to the carpenters - we've only just begun... over and over again. The problem is still not sorted! If the problem is not resolved shortly I will relocate the waste to the middle of the road! 4 weeks iv been waiting! And the council have..... only just begun To recognise this issue!!!! Useless is to good a word!

The usual inept service.Inane computer messages for a couple of minutes followed by the obligatory you are now number 27 in the queue.For an organisation that employs so many people to to do the same job perhaps they could get some more to answer the phones and a couple to watch over them .Who said the council tax is mis spent ?

Why have you closed Cusworth Park to visitors? The sign on the entrances states it is because groups of more than 2 have been seen in the Park. This is allowed if you live in the same house. Also the sign talks about people ignoring the government guidelines. Not sure if you meant to write LAWS or RULES or LEGISLATION the use of guidelines suggest we have a choice as guidelines are often not mandatory.

Why does a pedestrian permit for Doncaster tip only cover people that only live within a 1 mile radius?
I was told my permit could not be used any more because I live more than a mile away from the dump (1.3 miles as the crow flies). The reason I have to take it by foot is that I don't own a car.
My guess is that 95% of the Doncaster population do not live within the 1 mile radius of a WRC. Also I am sure that there are many more people in Doncaster that don't own a car.
I phoned up the council 3 times to ask why I couldn't use the dump. Someone from the WRC

I would think that in view of Doncaster looking more and more like a rubish dump, that the council would encourage people to dispose of their rubbish responsibly. If I had a car, nothing like this would have happened, because 1 or 2 trips to the dump would have disposed of everything. It is taking me a lot longer
because I go every time with a small shopping trolly.
This is blatant discrimination against people who don't own a car.

Of course if I still lived in the Netherlands, all I would need to do, is, either phone or go on line and ask for a date to collect my big rubbish (including old freezers etc.,) You can do this twice a month without charge.
All I want to do is to dispose of my rubbish in a responsibly manner.

Went in for a business consulting. Excellent place to get assistance from the council. Staff very helpful.
