Dona Sylvia Beach Resort Reviews

It's total waste of money. Not sure how Google rating is still 4+. Here are the reasons I'm giving 1 star:
1. There was cockroach found in veg salad
2. There is no Starters in lunch and dinner
3. Washroom near dining hall stincks all time.
4. They won't do house keeping on the day of check out. My check out time was at 130 pm.
5. Telephone in room didn't work on the check out day as I requested for room service.
6. They don't have any activities in resort except pool.
7. There's no sea food in the meal. Only 1 variety of fish.
8. Breakfast here's pathetic. You can't eat that. Very less options.
9. Service is pathetic
10. Rooms are very small and it's bad also.
11. It sucks..

Awesome place to be, great hospitality, lovely n awesome staff. Clean n safe pool n beach too. everything perfect.

Beach is very peaceful, very less crowded.

Chef go beyond menu and serve you food as per your need. Entire staff is best. Though room service is bit slower.

Strange part is cycling n game activities are paid, which is very unlikely for such kind of room charges.

Great Service. Excellent landscaping. Very good food.

One of the best resort I visited.. Good place to hang out.. :)

Customers sevice and food. Possum experience. And we spent a grate time.

It is a private beach resort , this is too good and safe too...

All hygiene factors for a three star resort, good pool, games, food spread and services, beach. But wow was missing

I loved my stay here For the very following Reasons-
1. The beach access
2. The very friendly service. Special mentions to Ms. Gita for make it so comfortable for us.
3. The Amenities

Here is why Novotel needs to revamp themselves:

- Check in took nearly 1 hour.
- Rooms where stinking, beds were making breaking noise.
- average breakfast and lunch spread/taste.

The worst is there were wedding events and Novotel staffs didn't bother to let the wedding guests know that they need to wear a masks.
None of the guests attending the wedding were wearing a mask, forget social distancing.

Finally I had to being this to their staffs notice but yet no point.

Net net if you looking for a relaxing time, this is not the right place.

Very good beach resort. The food is awesome with varities. Swimming pool is very good. The room is ok.

Amazing Place to stay with your family...The cleanest beach - friendly staff - very clean rooms - extra ordinary effort by Geetha Naik to make the guest comfortable are the plus factors to stay here again and again.

Actually I didnt stay here, but had a chance to attend 3 full day training and had a chance to drink and eat their lunch. If there is one word to describe their lunch then its "Marvellous" . So many varieties, which spans around veg and non-veg delicacies. Also the dessert is so wonderful, i had more desserts than the main course of the meal. Hotel is well maintained and staffs are courteous enough to help you whenever needed. One think what lacks here is that in the conference room, there is no microphone and projectors are not up to the mark, considering these 2 are vital items to deliver any speech or training.

Good location. Service is not promote. AC in the room was not working and had to want for 1hrs before technical made a visit.

Out side room smell bad. Not sure if it's sea or waist from hotel.

Rooms are okay and maintained reasonably well.

Had a marvellous stay. The resort is outstanding with its amenities and service. The staff is quite polite and helpful in all manners. A must place to stay.

Our very favourite. My little boy was very engaged as they had big kid section with lots of activity. Pool was everyones favourite place to be in. Rooms are spacious and correctly called bouquet rooms. Property is right at d beach. So had fun cycling. Food is good especially south indian breakfast in buffet. In totality every restaurant has good food to offer. Everything is taken care of.

We visited Novotel dona Sylvia last week and had fun with family. We loved the place. It also has a private beach which we really liked. we enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The breakfast was excellent. Rooms were good and excellent service. I must comment on Katty. we had a small issue and she handled it with grace and professionalism. She was very kind and nice to all. We appreciate all that she did. Had a nice stay!

Archana is the best ambassador for Novotel. She is so friendly and helpful. Archana is so polite and a great person to give advice to guests. Simply the best.

This place is awesome!! If you want to chill for a day, go with a group and have all the fun you want! It is also not very costly and you get it's 5 star facilities. The pool is nice and the lunch is highly diverse with so many items! It was an awesome experience!

I was resentely stay at dona Sylvia.amazing experience, near the beach...big swimming pool,,large coconut tree garden...greenry at all. over the property...Indian and continental food menu.i will stay again n again.all staff are very helpful.

Food wasn't all that great though...but I would wish to stay back or visit again

The property is very close to the coast and has a private beach access for the guests to enjoy.

The rooms are villas which are self contained and spacious. The staff is very courteous and friendly. The in-house cafe, Seagull is serene and has love music over the weekend.
