Enjoyed an excellent dinner at Lido Restaurant. Ingredients were fresh and seasonal, especially the vegetable noodles paired with the Wild Salmon. The selection of artisan breads and spreads was a great starter, and the wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Beautiful views and great place for a night out.
Had a terrible experience on fathers days. Terrible service that day , expensive special limited menu, steaks were undercooked then shrunk to have size. Never been back in 3 years

My family recently stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed it.
The positives were the suite itself was huge, the pool was warm, the restaurant food was delicious but expensive, and the resort is beautifully atop the Pismo Beach cliffs with a breathtaking view.
The negatives were that the television in the living room wasn't hooked up right and it took a technician about an hour to get it working for us and then the wires were running all over the place, one of the windows in the master bedroom had it's handle busted off so it made it difficult to open and close and when we went to get our car the valet wasn't there so someone at the front desk gave us our keys and we retrieved the vehicle ourselves.
If you have the money it's worth it, but this was probably the only time we'd visit at it was a bit overpriced in our opinion. It seemed more like an elegant hotel and much less of a resort.
Lovely hotel- had a 2br pool facing unit and loved it- Ocean is beautiful. However getting there is hard with small kids so for that reason not ideal. A walk down stairs is not recommended with small children, wet feet, sand toys... Hotel is clean, spacious and we had a fun time by the fire in the evenings.
Came for an anniversary and had a great time. Great service and people. Would recommend to anyone.

Enjoy Your Best Weekend Staying at Dolphin Bay Resort and Spa in Pismo Beach!
Both the bed and the sofa bed were surprisingly comfortable. We will definitely stay again. The only complaint was how warm the room was and took over an hour to cool off with the windows and patio door open (no A/C)
Nice resort and hotel. Great staff. It would be better if they fixed small features like chipped or cracked tile, wood paneling that was repaired and isn't stained to match but white or beige paint. The shower drain is missing screws and pops out.
Pool and jaccuzi area is nice. Though the pool gates, hand rails etc need to be cleaned as there is water rings or rust on them.
The barbeque area is nice, but the propane was left on for over a day we noticed it and told staff.
Overall, beautiful resort, great staff, services, views, and couldn't find many things to negative mark for.

Amazing suite! The room was very nice, with pretty much everything a person could want. The kitchenette (ok, really a full sized kitchen) was equipped with everything I could ever need for cooking in my room. But why would I with such amazing food available at Lido or even the surrounding areas. The path to the beach was well kept and and easy walk.

I got a massage at the spa which was wonderful. I layed out by the pool after which was nice, but the waiter never made his way to me for me to order lunch and drinks. Otherwise nice stay and beautiful resort.
Beautiful and accommodating resort and spa. We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights in partial ocean view suite which also had a great view of the pool, fully stocked kitchen for preparing meals, fireplace, comfortable bed, and much much more. Truly More

My boyfriend took me for a Valentine's Day couples massage. I love this place! Very professional staff, loved getting in the sauna to relax before my massage and the massage itself was wonderful. Second visit, I'm sure well be back.

I attended for a business meeting in the conference room. The building looked great and was located right on the beach. The food served at lunch was very good. The conference room we were in was not located very well. Quite a lot of noise and was hard to each other toward the end of the day when a band started warming up in the main restaurant.
Lido had a wonderful brunch. We've stayed here before and really enjoyed it.
Atmosphere and view lovely. The cost of the restaurant was not justified by the food. For example, a salad plate of mizuna with a few slice of radish was $14.00. Service however, was superb.
Penthouse Suite is amazing. Our view couldn't be better and the service is great! Highly recommended.

Dolphin Bay is BEAUTIFUL. Breath- taking in fact. The people there are wonderful and the free valet parking is top notch. I was even able to do a late check out because my flight was later in the day.
The only reason I am giving them 3 stars is because of the noise issues. We stayed on a Saturday night and left Sunday afternoon. When we came to our room Saturday night, there was a wedding going on and the music was blaring... this continued the entire night. We spent a lot of money to have a balcony overlook the ocean and we were not able to listen to ocean or even enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing because directly below us was a loud, drunk, wedding party.
In the morning, when we woke up, we hoped to have a nice relaxing breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean, but we were bombarded by staff folding up tables and chairs making a ton of noise.
We were looking forward to it because of the tranquility we expected the resort to have, Literally, everything was amazing, except for the unwanted noise at the price we paid.
Great stay here. New, modern rooms with full kitchen, tesla charging onsite, great ocean views. UPDATE: The hotel also noticed my forgotten toiletry bag and mailed it to me. I rated gave 5 stars before that--can I give 6? :)

You were having Sunday brunch from a gift certificate given by a hotel manager because of a previous mess up at my wife's gathering. This trip was good up until the end when our server vanished , we had to ask for the bill three times, the gift certificate was forgotten to be applied to the bill so we waited one more time. So we have been there a total of three times and I'd say all three times where not pleasant overall. Doesn't make sense for such a nice place. I've noticed this a lot in restaurants lately that are supposedly fancy or upper class. The help they are hiring is way too young and inexperienced and does not know how to interact with clients or guests or whomever you name them. Please excuse any typos as I'm using voice text. JRB
This hotel was a very nice surprise as a stop on the way from SF to LA. Conveniently not far from the freeway, it may look deceptively like an average hotel. But the rooms are all huge suites, more like mini apartments (equipped with decent kitchens, washer/dryer units etc). Everything was modern and well maintained. The staff were super friendly and our room service orders were very tasty. You can get popcorn, hot chocolate and DVDs from the front desk for free. The property overlooks the ocean and a walkway gives access to a nice beach at the back. Very nice experience.
Fabulous views, great food, and an amazing spa. If you need a place to stay on the Central Coast this is the place.
Came to eat at the restaurant with reservations. Sat at the table and was completely ignored for around 30 minutes. Server never introduced themselves, and the busser had filled our water about three times. Sat patently and attempted to make eye contact with any of the servers. Was just completely ignored. Ended up just walking out and heading to the restaurant next door. Very impressed with that one.

Very nice place. Had breakfast at the restaurant. A little pricy but it's too be expected at an establishment such as this. The atmosphere was wonderful... nice sunny day on the patio with a view of the ocean. Could have stayed there for hours, relaxing.
We already have been 5 times to his hotel/resort the last year. The staff and owners are vey nice with good food and good infrastructure for kids.The hotel can organise tours for you at very reasonable prices. The beach is also very nice and clean.

This was our 6th year in a row visiting the beautiful Dolphin Bay Resort & Spa (8/14-8/20). Lisa (manager) and her team always make our family and friends feel special but this year deserves a particular shout-out given the pandemic and the fires. We were impressed by the health and safety measures in place - every employee wore a mask and respected our desire to keep a distance - yet they were helpful whenever we needed something (e.g. getting our bikes, housekeeping, room service, etc.). It was also nice to see most guests wearing masks around the grassy play area, the restaurant (Lido), and by the always beautiful tide pools/ocean. Dolphin Bay is a great place to escape during the pandemic because the rooms are enormous and come with full kitchens and dining areas so you don't ever feel cooped up. There are also plenty of outdoor activities that we have discovered over the years (e.g. sand dunes, beaches, wine tasting, bike rides, zip lines, etc.) and great restaurants nearby if you want something other than Lido. We recommend Cracked Crab, Mason Bar & Kitchen, and Novo - all of which we ordered in from this year. Lisa and her team always go above and beyond and we look forward to going back again next August (and possibly sooner).
Wow..Five Stars for This Central California Coast hotel located in Pismo Beach. Completely new and absolutely lovely property sets on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Romantic getaway?. You bet.
Dining is top notch, valet parking, friendly staff..can't go wrong with this one folks. Presidential Suites available. A little journey down the stairs to the beach but you need to work off that good food they serve. Have fun. We sure did

Wonderful view of the ocean and Central coast. Their brunch is exceptional as well as their lunch. Bottomless mimosas are a must when doing brunch. Staff is always friendly and attentive
We love to go here for the bottomless champagne brunch. Our server was great and the service was amazing. I had the peach and arugula salad to start which was so delicious and the chocolate torte at the end is literal death by chocolate. 4/5 because both my eggs on the duck hash were over cooked and not runny.
The hotel was beautiful, but we had appointments at the spa. The soa itself was small, but the service from front desk to the actual massages themselves were top-notch. I will definitely be staying at this hotel in the future and using their spa facilities again!
The Dolphin Resort and Spa was beautiful and the service had great etiquette. I was attending for a wedding and there were weather problems that interfered with the wedding, however the staff did there best to make sure it was executed to the best of their ability. The only discrepancy is that the wedding was fairly big and yet the service seemed to be understaffed. That did not interfere with the quality however. I enjoyed myself quite much and would like to go again.
We were having a brunch after a wedding and they did an excellent job accommodating our party. We got the entire outdoor patio to ourselves and it was beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was a nice buffet spread with fruits, eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, potatoes and more. The eggs with the peppers were delicious, I had to go back for more and more. Great venue to host an event or just come for a meal.
Perfect spot for a relaxing weekend or short vacation. The suites are very spacious (1600sqf) and spotless clean. The swimming pool is heated at 80F. The restaurant has good reviews but we decided to dine out or cook for ourselves (the kitchen is well equipped).
Hands down the best place to have a wedding! Krysta & her team made all of our dreams come true. The price is comparable with other venues in the area but the staff you get with it does not compete! The food was incredible. The view is outstanding. Krysta went above and beyond her role to make sure we had the best day ever. This place deserves more than 5 stars.

On a whim, we made very last minute reservations to stay at the Dolphin Bay Resort & Spa for four-day stay. We had stayed there twice before and it was always terrific. This time we booked a first floor two-bedroom unit next to the pool. The room was fine although a bit dark as the windows were situated behind some bushes for privacy. We asked if we could move or upgrade to a higher floor with a brighter ocean view. Unfortunately, we were told that all of the rooms in that category were occupied or reserved. The very next morning, we got a call from the General Manager, Erica Coppola, who based on a late cancellation, offered to move us to a fourth floor two-bedroom unit with a great open plan layout and a killer head on ocean view. Needless to say we were thrilled and will be returning to visit Erica and the terrific team at the Dolphin Bay Resort & Spa often.
Excellent service. Dining was superb - quality over quantity. Try the Risotto. Very cosy coastal location with pool. Ideal for families and perfect place to stop between LA & Monterey or San Fran. Teens will live the ATV / Quad Bikes on Pismo Beach. Wish we had spent 2 nights.

The suite is a 2-bedroom room that is large and spacious. They Pride themselves on service, and the valet attendants even charged up my electric car for me overnight.
