Amazing place. I was lucky enough to have a work seminar here (the boring bit) however when it was finish an engineer there was kind enough to show us what they have been working on with Dolby Atmos and the technology in this place was astounding! Great to be around enthusiasts.

Was here for a Pitchblack Playback Event and their screening room was impressive. As expected, exceptional sound quality. A tucked away location in Soho square that's best accessed from Tottenham Court Road.

Visited Dolby for work training on their Dolby Voice products and I must say, the technology is amazing. Absolutely incredible how the audio is processed to give a uniquely clear stream of audio for conferencing, clearly defining different parties who are speaking and separating them out in case of cross talking. Integrates perfectly with BlueJeans and words cannot do it justice about how good a product Dolby have got here. Nothing else I've come across comes close to what Dolby have produced.

Here for a private screening, I found it clear that Dolby take seriously the ability of their own small cinema to showcase all their sound systems including Dolby Atmos. Recommended for client screenings and other high-end, small-scale shows. Catering is not hard to bring in. Convenient access from Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road Tube stations; and every taxi driver knows where Soho Square is.

About Dolby Laboratories

Dolby Laboratories: Revolutionizing the Audio and Visual Experience

Dolby Laboratories is a leading American company that specializes in creating cutting-edge audio, visual, and voice technologies for movies, TV shows, music, and gaming. Founded in 1965 by Ray Dolby, the company has been at the forefront of innovation in sound engineering for over five decades. Today, Dolby is synonymous with high-quality audio and video experiences that transport viewers into a world of immersive entertainment.

The company's mission is to enhance the way people experience entertainment by delivering superior sound quality that captures every nuance of an artist's vision. Dolby's technology has been used in some of the most iconic films ever made including Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Blade Runner 2049, and Dunkirk. In addition to movies and TV shows, Dolby also works with musicians to create studio-quality sound recordings that can be enjoyed on any device.

One of Dolby's most significant contributions to the world of entertainment is its Atmos technology. This revolutionary system allows filmmakers to create a three-dimensional soundscape that envelops viewers from all directions. With Atmos-enabled speakers placed around a room or theater space, audiences can hear sounds coming from above them as well as behind them - creating an incredibly immersive experience.

Another groundbreaking technology developed by Dolby is Vision - which enhances picture quality by providing brighter colors and deeper blacks than traditional displays can achieve. Vision uses dynamic metadata to optimize each scene individually - ensuring that every frame looks its best regardless of lighting conditions or other factors.

Dolby also offers voice technologies such as VoiceBoost which improves speech clarity in noisy environments like airports or busy streets; Dialogue Enhancer which makes it easier for viewers to understand dialogue without having to adjust volume levels constantly; and Volume Leveler which ensures consistent volume levels across different programs or channels.

In addition to its core business areas like cinema systems and home theater equipment sales (including speakers), Dolby also licenses its technologies out for use in other products such as smartphones (e.g., Samsung Galaxy S21) laptops (e.g., Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon), headphones (e.g., Sony WH-1000XM4), gaming consoles (e.g., Xbox Series X/S), streaming services (e.g., Netflix) among others.

Overall, there are many reasons why consumers choose products featuring Dolby technologies over competitors' offerings - whether it be better picture quality on their TVs or more immersive audio experiences when watching movies at home or playing games online with friends. With continued investment into research & development efforts aimed at improving existing products while exploring new ones altogether – we can expect even more exciting innovations from this industry leader moving forward!
