The food is absolutely delicious! We ordered take out: Lobster Mac n cheese, New England Clam Chowder, Lobster roll, lobster BLT, chili, calamari no doubt these reviews are spot on. The location is pretty cool right on the water fun atmosphere.

Great food, nice service. Went with my 78 year old Mom and felt very comfortable with the outside seating. We had a Lobster, BLT and a Kale Salad with blackened scallops and the Wendy's ice cream pie. Everything was really good.

Cutest place by the water in Stonington. They have wonderful views from their dining room and very sweet staff. Seafood is locally sourced, they harvest their scallops right in the bay. There is a variety of seafood and pasta dishes on the menu, as well as salads and great coffee and desserts. In the summer there is a huge outside bar on the docks and the patio in front of the restaurant opens up. The decor is very rustic and nautical but not overwhelming. This place will always we a favorite!

Our dining experience last week was amazing. We were the furthest table from the kitchen and the food came out hot. The staff and the food were both exceptional, can t complain about the drinks either.

Small cafe with great views. Should go early to avoid any crowd. The lobster bisque was pretty creamy. The lobster Mac was a surprise and very unique. Not pictured is a yummy order of calamari and pickle fries. 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent food, but the atmosphere is really what makes this establishment. Have a drink, and take a seat at the inviting dockside bar - where you'll find boaters picking up to-go orders at the "drive-through". Hailed by locals and tourists alike, I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and indulge in a casual dining experience.

As always, service was great especially during this time of COVID. Nicole was awesome as was the others paying attention to the needs of the patrons. The food was phenomenal. Broiled scallops and stuffed flounder special......DELICIOUS!

Great view and the food is delicious. Sometimes the wait can be pretty long, but that means you know it's a good spot. Service was very prompt and friendly, and the Bloody Mary and fish entrees are excellent.

Food was mediocre. Veggie burger was mushy. Dog watch pasta with chicken (minus chicken ) was terrible. Fish and chips uggg. Drove from beach to check it out after good reviews on trip advisor. Weekday 2:30. Older crowd. A little more upscale vibe then anticipated. Nice server and friendly with view of pier. But not what I expected. Beer cold and reasonable.

FANTASTIC!!! The place is Fab! With a view that resembles you are ON a sailboat without the rocking. My meals, yes! More than one were phenomenal ... the service OUTSTANDING. Everyone was friendly!! Loved it!! BTW, as side note, I was the only 'tanned skin' person there. Multiculture safe!! Loved It!!!

Great place to enjoy lunch, dockside. Dress is casual. The menu, which is mainly seafood, is reasonably priced and delicious. Seating is limited, so expect a bit of a wait during peak hrs. I will definitely return.

All around fun experience. Great outdoor bar sitting along a dock that makes the wait for a table fun. Fire pits with Adirondack chairs for lounging around. Fun food and drinks. Great atmosphere. Efficiently run. Friendly.

I ate there this past Monday. ( A 1st Timer) The place looked so inviting and the service was great. Unfortunately, I got food poisoning the next morning. I thought I was gonna die, and all I ate were the Calamari. I've eaten Calamari before, at The Hard Rock Cafe, and I never had a reaction like that. Hopefully they look into that. Will I go back? Yes. Would I order the Calamari again? I'll pass.

This is a very cosy restaurant with a great view on the marina. The staff is friendly and the service is fast once you get seated. We did have to wait 20 minutes before we could go to our table because the restaurant was packed. There is a large menu with daily specials as well, everything we had there was tasty but not super exceptional. They also serve very, very stiff drinks, keep that in mind when you order a cocktail!

I would recommend this place 100%. The food is amazing, staff polite. I had the lobster salad roll and it was good. I highly recommend the fish tacos. They're unlike any fish tacos I've ever had. I also recommend the open face steak! It was a Very excellent cooked steak that melts into your mouth and had so much flavor ! The outdoor dining is also very nice and peaceful especially after a long day at the beach. I also recommend bringing and appetite because everything on their menu sounds amazing!

Belly-up to the bar and rub elbows with well-heeled businessmen and local fisherman finding common ground over great food and entertaining bartenders; or sit in the indoor or outdoor dining area and enjoy the same with great views of Stonington Harbor and world famous Dodson's Boat Yard. The food here is inventive and fresh. You can find typical bar fare as well as top notch seafood, steaks, and chicken. Fun atmosphere in the "Dog Pound" outside in warmer weather with games and summer drinks, and an ice cream tent. Great food, great staff, great crowd.

Try to get to Dog Watch whenever we are in Stonington. We were their Sunday April 9th for dinner. I had mu usual which is the salmon sandwich which never disappoints. My wife had chicken piccatta which she has had several times before. Always good as it was this time as well, however my wife is not a big eater, and did complain that there was only two small pieces of chicken. She did leave on the hungry side and a little disappointed, however we will return. She did want to make mention of it, but it was to busy.

I've been to Dog Watch Cafe multiple times and it's never a deception. Great food, friendly service and the atmosphere is casual and cozy during the winter and wonderful sunset views during the summer. Tuesday Pasta specials are great for a quick dinner. Will definitely go back again and again!
