The Doctor is in...Great, Hi-end, performance ski shop. All excellent top end brands ski equipment, boots, clothing & gear. Full performance ski maintenance department with knowledgeable techs. Doc's is for the serious skier & boarder who wants high quality equipment & service. It's not a cheap sport, so just do it right. Doc's is your Rx for great Skiing & Boarding experiences.

What is there to say about the best, most honest, totally have your back guys in the city? There's a reason that despite all the changes in Santa Monica over the last 40 years, these guys are still here. My wife has been shopping there for 30 years. This was my first experience and WOW! Where the rubber hits the road for a ski shop is if they can make you feel as if they are buying the ski for themselves and not trying to sell them to you. In a nutshell, that is the experience I had ,...and I loved it!

Part of me really wants to like this place, as they're one of the better ski shops in the area... but man, their selection inside is a bit sad, and the building itself has seen better days. Los Angeles simply isn't a ski town, and the advent of online retailers hasn't made life easy on local shops like this.

I didn't really like the selection they had. Everything was crazy expensive. I was not a big fan of the customer service. I felt really awkward and like I was being watched and followed too much. The brands they carry don't seem very cool. Everything honestly looks dorky and outdated. I just didn't like the styles. I bought goggles and when I got to the car noticed they had black fuzz on them inside the box. I went to try to trade them in for an unopened pair and they let me trade them for a different pair but it was clearly opened before. I don't like that I had to buy goggles worn by other people. I would have preferred unopened considering the price. I got home and googled the goggles to see how people were styling them and they are available on the internet for $100 less then I paid. I feel like I got a terrible deal.

Fixed my bindings for free. Did a great job repairing my wife's board. Get the boards waxed here a few times every season.

Had my bindings mounted there on my Liberty Skis and ended up buying Blizzard Brahmas at the same time. Professional service and high end gear. They even match on line sale prices which is AWESOME for a brick and mortar store! Going back today to grab my wife's Black Pearls. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Recently had my skis and my friends snowboard tuned and waxed. I am a retired Ski Patrol Instructor and I can honestly say that the base structure and the tune was the best I have ever seen. Great service, professional, friendly. And technically, at the top of the game. Need to give them a 10 star rating. Very hard to find technically competent tuners. These are "the guys"
