Last couple of times I had to come in at the last minute due to work related scenarios. Staff was very rude and upset. I have been coming to this chain for years. But this store treats you like you are totally incompetent and voices a little attitude. I would gladly spend the extra gas money to go to a different store. For all the money that my company spends I would think that they would be a little more appreciative for not going to the big box stores and try to treat regulars with a little more appreciation

The guy was not very knowledgeable, not much mechanical sense.

Friendly staff and has a decent selection of basic hardware.

The best place for quick hardware needs. Great selection of nuts and bolts. Great key service. Fill your propane tank. Or get your lawnmower serviced. Most of all the best staff in town.

This place is awesome. Connly's Do it Best stores are some of the best hardware stores in the city. I love the one specifically on Wells Street because they still do small engine repair for a very reasonable price. I have been taking my snowblower and lawn mowers there for years.

Connolly's always has what we need, and helps us find it in the store ! We have never been disappointed.

Always get great help here and good advice on many different products! The staff goes out of their way to help and I don't know how they know so much about everything in the store.

I absolutely love this fine establishment for nearly 50 years now. Sure the prices are a little higher but convenience is not free and the big box stores fail in comparison to the personable experience you get at the ol hardware store

These guys always have the nuts & bolts I'm looking for. When the big box stores let me down I always know where to go. Bill always comes out to help and he really gives you that feeling that you're in a small town and that you're at home. I hope they're always around.

Amazing service. On my second visit for the day I was loaned a tool even though I didn't end up making a purchase. I felt like I was treated as a neighbor.

I didnt get the chance to get his name but the older gentleman who goes back and forth from this store and the southwest store helped me find the parts I needed to complete a project that I wasnt getting the time or attention from other large retailers here in fort wayne. Will defiantely come back.

I walked in and an older gentleman was right there for to help. He was fast efficient and knowledgeable. I love shopping at places like that, he provided great service. I ll definitely be back even if things are more expensive because of service.

Normally a great experience but today 2 separate employees were completely lost and had no idea what hardware I needed and couldn't even return one of my original screws that I had asked them to match I ended up at home in the middle of a project without the right hardware. They both admitted to their ignorance of hardware but the one guy who seemed to know something about it seemed to be too busy to help when they asked him. They were nice and tried to help but it was very frustrating trying to complete a project and nothing was right. Hoping for a better experience next time.

When you go there, ask for Bill. Not only is he and all the staff helpful but he is a plasant guy who goes over and beyond for customers. I prefer this location over all others. Service, experince, and helpfulness make this place a good place to spend hard earned money!

They had exactly what I needed and it was easier to find than at larger stores.

I prefer coming in at night because Tim, Shelly, or Lindy are usually working and always help me find what I need, but after hearing about unlocked cars being gone through I might have to start shopping elsewhere. I'd feel safer if there were at least a light in the parking lot--it's so dark!
