*BEYOND DISAPPOINTED*

We hired DLS Events, LLC to cater our annual Christmas & 25th Anniversary Party. We began the search for a venue & caterer in June, settling with DLS, as they were the preferred caterer for the Venue we chose. We were expecting approx. 175 guests to attend this elegant event.

The event was scheduled to begin at 7pm, lasting until 11pm.
The food was set out an hour prior to the event, w/out chafing dishes or iced housing, set on plain serving trays. By the time the guests began arriving at 7pm, the food was ruined. The eggrolls & potstickers were only good when they were hot. The cheeseboard didn't have proper utensils to cut the large wedges of cheese. The sliders were cold, dry & flavorless, the cheeseburger sliders had no cheese, and the buns were hard & stale. We also paid for Mac&Cheese Bites and Lemon Bars, which we never received. All the food was to be gourmet, fresh and made by hand in the on-site kitchen.



We were charged for 5 attendants. We saw one at set-up, one at clean-up and the other catering staff were running back & forth, with trays of food, between the kitchen at our venue out the back door to some other location.
The food was put away at 8:30, 2 1/2 hours before the conclusion of our event. Many guests went hungry, as they were met with empty serving trays and minimal leftovers , far less than expected for the number of guests in attendance.

Overall, we were terribly disappointed in the quality and presentation of the food we paid good money for, and the level of service we received during the event. We were promised an elegant gourmet event.

By far the worst company i have ever even interviewed with. Who has someone bartend withouth even doing any paperwork(no w-2, no SS CARD, NOT EVEN A ID CARD), NOT TO MENTION ZERO TRAINING. Im sorry but Brittany was the worst manager I have ever dealt with. Not to mention...they havent even paid me for the event...nor returned calls. So i had to take the liberty of googling the company name just so i could get ahold of someone. OHHH...AND WORKING THERE. ITS LIKE CLUB METRO. GHETTO INSIDE(EXCEPT THE THEATER) ECOSURE ALONE WOULD CLOSE THEM DOWN..AND THE FACT IS EVEN WORSE THAT THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE BEVERAGE NAPKINS TO HAND OUT..AND NO LIMES WHEN FEATURING A MARGARITA. DID I MENTION THE ALCOHOL DELIVERY WAS NEVER MADE EITHER!!! SO WE COULD ONLY SELL WHAT WAS AVAILABLE?! AS A MANAGER THE FIRST THING AFTER NOT RECIEVEING IT...WOULD BE TO CALL AND MAKE SURE IT IS DELIVERED. UNLESS THE ORDER WAS NEVER PLACED????? WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. THE LABOR BOARD WILL ALSO KNOW ABOUT THIS. POSSIBLY THE STATE TOO.

I Interviewed to work Beyond Wonderland Music Festival and was sent a welcome packet with the scheduled shifts. I called to confirm and was told I needed to speak with the person who interviewed me, Cara Blackwell. I emailed her and heard nothing back so I assumed I was hired, I drove 2hours East to work the event. Then 45minutes before the event was supposed to start, Cara finally emailed me to say they were fully staffed and wouldn't be needing me. At this point I was already there and had taken off work from my other job for the weekend. I showed up on site and asked if I could potentially be used as backup in case anyone canceled. Cara was extremely rude and yelled at me for showing up. I lost out on money and time. This was a case of horrible miscommunication and disorganization. I will never work this company again because of her.

By far the best staffing company I ve ever worked for. I worked as a bartender @Tortuga Music Festival and I ve never seen a group more cohesive and determined to make an event a major success the way this company handled themselves.

DLS has a very solid core group of barbacks who are amazingly hard workers and I ve witnessed their work ethic prior to the festival start date. Knowing I had strong knowledgeable barbacks by my side made things flow seamlessly.

Most of all I don t think any of this would have been possible without the presence of Eboni being one of the main overseers of making sure everything is going according to plan. She s the epitome of a great leader and her sense of calmness made me feel like no matter what s going everything will work out perfectly fine... and it did. I mean I m blown away by how Eboni and her team handled this event.

I d recommend this company to hardworking men and women who enjoy a fair system and equal opportunity for all... no matter the color of your skin, we re all given the opportunity to prove our selves and make the same amount of money.
