DLK on Avenue Reviews

I am totally devastated regarding the outcome of my laser treatments at DLK on the AVE. I never write reviews as I am a very private person however I feel I have no choice as no one will return any of my phone calls. I am much worse than when I originally came in. I live off of Yorkville Ave and sought this medical center out based on how close this clinic is to my condo and the fact that Dr Kellett is regularly on breakfast television. I have called this clinic in desperation twice and have also spoken to George the manager who informed me that Dr Kellett would be in touch with me. Still after several weeks have gone by I have heard from no one. I understand that it is a difficult time with COVID but there still is zero excuse to neglect getting in touch with clients who have spent thousands of dollars and are having adverse reactions. My sales centre is also closed but I still make it a top priority to get in touch with clients that have questions or are experiencing issues....I cannot believe this is happening and 100 percent regret coming here....Shame on you DLK

I am absolutely thrilled that someone who knows quality dermatology pointed me in the direction of DLK on Avenue. Dr. LK has been a wonderful clinician and beauty surgeon for my poor forehead. I lived with acne scars for years, and she right away knew what to do. Our conversations over our time together will also be fondly remembered. Thank you, DLK & Staff! You lifted my spirits as well as my forehead!

I was blown away with my experience with Dr. Kellett at DLK. Dr. Kellett is not only knowledgeable, hard working and professional, but she is kind and gentle. I really get the sense that she is doing everything within her power to help me. I also received nothing but the utmost professionalism, efficiency, kindness and patience from the other staff at the clinic.
I have seen many doctors who have claimed that nothing can be done to treat the scars on my arms, stomach and thighs. Dr. Kellett is the first doctor who has not only offered to help, but who has produced results. I have only completed my first two treatments, but I look forward to tracking my progress as I continue to return for further treatments.I am already more confident showing skin in public without feeling ashamed of my scars. I feel well informed about the procedure and Dr. Kellett always takes the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed. I don't have a single negative thing to say about Dr. Kellett, the clinic, or the other staff. Highly recommend.

Visited the clinic earlier this month in regards to keloid scars .Over the phone the male receptionist was very lovely, and told me all about the process and prices. We were looking at 500$ to treat a tiny scar. They asked me for credit card as consultation 200$, but it will go towards my treatment. First I was hesitant, but then I thought that money will go towards my treatment anyways, right? I went ahead with it. First I saw Dr. Keller assistant who was very pleasant, and explained that we will figure our the way to get rid of that scar. Then Dr. KELLET came, and started the "pitch". She told me that keloid scars are quite complicated to get rid of and they will never promise perfect result (which is true). However, then she followed that it would cost $800 per session, and I would need 6 session. WHAT?! Lady it costs $40-100 per injection. SO I LOST MY DEPOSIT, because I can't afford my treatment. Can I call this fraud? I guess I can. They pitched me a bunch of products at the end (which I read in this section can cause irritation and more issues with skin). PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC. NEVER PAY FOR CONSULTATION AHEAD OF TIME. GREAT LESSON LEARNT. I had to pay 300+ deposit for 10 min. of their time, and $150 for products that will destroy my skin. Frustrated, upset, and still have my keloid that I need to get rid of. THANK YOU, DR. KELLET!

Dr.Kellett is really nice and knowledgable, She recommended Thermage for me. I am happy with the result and I should say thank you to Helen for her great job.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr.Kellet and the DLK team. I came to Dr. Kellet for help with my dark under eye circles. I was very nervous going into this but Dr. Kellet made me Feel completely comfortable from the beginning. Diana performed my treatment and I could not be happier with my results. Everyone at DLK is professional and experienced. Highly recommend !

Visited this clinic a couple of years ago. Had about 5 small keloids that I wanted to get treated on my body. They told me the treatment would cost around $600 and that it would be about 6 sessions in total. I thought "Great!" since it didn't seem too expensive. Turns out it was $600 for each session! I only learned that on my second session when I had to pay another $600. I feel like I was deceived since in the consultation they made it sound like the entire treatment would cost $600. To pay $600 for a 5 min session of treating 5 tiny little scars is outrageous and I stopped going after the 2nd session. All they did was inject my keloids and did some quick laser on it. This clinic is way overpriced and I started seeing another dermatologist who told me she could inject my keloids for $40. Please do your research before spending an unnecessary amount of money.

Hyaluronidase expense is not $700..... it is $250 in most clinics!!

I had an apt for filler problem under my eye which was done in Europe and due to travel issues I looked for help in Toronto where I live. I found this DLK clinic and they decided to have a look and help me out. They requested $200 in advance but still set the apt for me. Doctor Kellett looked into my problem and advised to one of nurses to use certain amount of Hyaluronidase to see if this will help. The nurse did the job and I was asked to pay $700 plus HST. My problem still persist and I decided to make better research on this and see if I need more of filler dissolver. I found that most of reputable clinics ask only for $250 for this issue. I booked apt elsewhere and I think this is basically one if the situations when they use us and we do not have enough information at our hands. Be aware of the price as Hyaluronidase should not be this expensive. Do you homework before having apt at this clinic.
What a rip off!
