In the past I have been to the one in Branson twice and my family and I have been to smoky mountain adventures last year and now the stampede last week. I won't be back. When you change a name so you won't offend anyone?? If dixie offends you, STAY AT HOME! Oh and you don't honor concealed carry and I couldn't even have my pocket knife with me. Show is ok, not super awesome, the food is good. Ain't worth it no more.

Love Dolly Parton - but didn t love this show. The performers and waitresses were fantastic! The preshow was fantastic. I loved listening to the group singing. It was definitely cute! However, I was not a fan of the food - for $60 a ticket I guess I expected a little more. And I m going to be that person for a minute, I did not like the horses jumping through fire. Ugh, the animal lover in me did not like that! But I understand the animals are well taken care of, it was just that one moment. Overall, it was definitely worth the try, but probably won t return.

North versus South competition between audience, music, dancing, animals, horse riding all kinds, comedy, patriotic tribute. This show has everything for good family entertainment. Best Chicken dinner of all the shows. An experience kind of like Medieval Times but with music & comedy. We had a great time.

Went to the 6:00 show on July 9. They heard us in like cattle and had to wait 30 minuites to get into the arena. No social distance and no pre show. I've been there 4 other times when it was Dixie Stampede and the food was good. That night the cornish hen and the pork was so dry I could nearly swallow it.
My daughter ordered the vegetarian plate and they served her rice that was cold and hard as a rock. It was like one of those pre made rice to put in the microwave that you have to break up before microwaving, this was not broken up and not microwaved.
It was definately not worth the 250.00 plus tip I spent for 5 people.
I understand that the pre show had to be cancelled because of social distancing, but it was no different than before Covid. Packed in, but boaring. No music. We walked into the arena and had to wait another 20 minuites listening to crivmckets. Wasted a perfect time to entertain us with music. They could have lowered the stage the girls danced on and played some bluegrass to get the mood started.
Over all I wished I had skipped this event and saved myself some money and heartache.

It was a great show and dinner. Victoria B was out hostess and she was amazing. We had both the chicken dinner and the vegetarian pasta dinner in our family. Both meals were good, but the chicken dinner is better if you eat meat. The soup and biscuit are outstanding and the peach pastry for dessert hit the spot.

The show was okay, but not great. Was unprepared to eat with hands; some forewarning would have been nice. Overall, it's a little overpriced, but good for kids (as long as they're not picky eaters)

Fun!

The pre-show at the Dixie Stampede is second to none. Gary "Biscuit" Davis is a phenomenal banjo player, and the music of Mountain Ruckus is fantastic. I highly recommend going early so you will be able to see this show.

It was absolutely great, I've been to it several times in the past 25 years. The addition of using a fork was a pleasant surprise, thank you. My wife and I will be attending again in the future

This show is amazing and fun for the whole family , 1st they have a pre show with some music and fun for the kiddos you can order drinks and popcorn once the pre show is over you go to the main show that you eat with your hands really good food you dont have to eat it all you can take the left over home in some paper bags , the hillbilly caracter is amazing and really funny , make sure you dont eat probably all day before you go becuase they serve a lot of food and try to go to an early show instead of a late one , really worth it you wont regret it.

Did not expect to be crammed into a long booth with no leg or arm room. Would be better if they removed even 1-2 place settings from a row to give guests more room. Would recommend having a 2nd show per night if they are so concerned with packing people in. Waiter was in way too big of a hurry which made him come across as completely rude. Food was literally thrown on our plates as he scurried down the line. He even spilled coffee of the lady next to us with no apology given. The food was just alright; not really worth the hype. We liked the soup and biscuit the best. We were given our picture to review during the show while our hands were greasy from the chicken and expected to give an answer as to whether or not we wished to purchase a copy right then. We ended up not even getting to look at our picture as the proofs were taken from us once we said we had not looked yet. The show itself was entertaining. We enjoyed the horse stunts and games. Spent extra for preferred seating and ended up sitting in the front row which was nice because we were close to the action. However, next time we may save a little money and sit up higher where you can see past the wall a little more.

We always love going to Dixie Stampede! The dinner and the show is always something to be looked forward to. Make sure that you buy your tickets early online however during peak season and times to get the best seating available.

I didn't care too much for the stampede. The price is $50 per person to eat and I didn't like how they didn't have silverware to eat with you eat with your hands I should have got better food somewhere else for cheaper price with a show Jim's phone quit working and my son who is 3 years old imma be sore in the end of this month was not very excited

The food was hot, healthy, and plentiful, but the entertainment was insensitive. I was a bit nervous when the announcer informed the audience that the "Dixie" contest was between the north and south, with audience members being assigned to each side, with Gen. Robert E. Lee heading up the south. It became a little more uncomfortable when the women fake-cracked a whip on a horse. After an hour of glorifying the Civil War and the slave era that preceeded it, the announcer tried to smooth things over by saying, "There is no north or south. There's just the United States." Too little, too late buddy.

We had an awesome experience...from the gentleman who was sweeping up wind-blown pieces of debris on the parking lot; to the lovely greeter, who welcomed us at the door; to the ticket booth attendant, who helped us with perfect seats to meet our needs; to our photographer, Rachel, who found us quickly with great pictures; to the server named Sakaylea, who took such great care of us!

I made reservations for our 48th Wedding Anniversary. The person making the reservation, Janine, asked if I would like it announced. I told her yes. It was not done at all. Service was very good. Thanks Julie. But given reservations dropped the ball, and the food was ok, I give it only 3 Stars. Horsemanship was excellent. But overall I was disappointed I made this venue the place where we went to celebrate our Anniversary.

I've been to the Stampede a few times over the last fifteen years and I really enjoy their effort to update the show and keep it fun for everyone. The food is good, standard southern fare. The service is great. The show was fun. The only criticism I have is that it was very commercialized for them to sell us photos (that we buy every time) in the middle of dinner and the show.

This was my first experience at the show and I was blown away. The show was wonderful. The staff serving your food while you ate was so nice and helpful and the food was out of this world. Way more food than I can eat in one sitting, but thank goodness for a to go bag! The temperature in the room was perfect. And the food was hot and just prepared right before serving. Can't wait to be back for the new pirate show coming to Pigeon Forge next month!
