We've owned a timeshare at Divi Golf and Beach resort for over 10 years. They recently did major renovations of the units, and what a disaster. They removed the bathtubs and remodeled showers that are now too small to comfortably take a shower in. The shower heads are so low that most people have to bend over in an awkward position to take a shower. Overall maintenance is poor---our grill on the deck upstairs has not worked once since we've arrived over the 10 years. They need to fix it each year. Don't go and for sure don't buy a timeshare!

08/09/2021 I enjoyed my Aruba trip again at the Divi resort. However the timeshare manager and the customer service at 91941932484 is horrible. I took my sister since mi recently lot my husband and we had to listen to a timeshare presentation. I told the manager (rossi) and sales person Judeska that if I wanted to buy I would write a check. /the manager said show me your credit card to take to my manager and charged over 16k on my card without my permission. Since then I have been trying to get my money back. Am told it will take 1-2 months. /this is a robbery and I want my money back asap. when we call customer relations they put you on hold and system hangs up. Unbelievable
Horrible. I tried calling in last week and waited for 2 hours on the phone. I listed to the countdown that said I went from caller number 11 down to caller number 1. When I made it to 1 they picked up and hung up. I cannot get an answer to a basic question. Anytime I have dealth with Chapel Hill on issues they have pushed back and pretty much said, "too bad".
Restaurants great ambiance, food fresh and tasty, poolside bar great entertainment and selection of drinks, hotel modern and clean, rooms offer great views. Have loved it for eighteen years.
We won a vacation voucher through Divi while in Aruba, and were told that we would have to participate in a sales pitch for their variation of a timeshare program. We did this, and while the salesman was pleasant enough, we asked the reps who we won the vouchers from - SEVERAL times - if we could book a trip for a future date past the expiration date on the voucher, and they said yes - as long as a trip is booked and the money is down, we could book a trip several months past the expiration of the voucher.
Well, we finally went to look into booking a trip to find that we were blatantly misinformed about this, despite asking for confirmation on that exact point many times. We had to book a trip that would be completed by the expiration, and not a day after. Upon emailing Divi customer service, I was basically told, "tough." No apologies, no extension on the expiration, no consolatory coupons - nothing. Any company that does not hold their employees and representatives accountable for what they relay to customers deserves a black mark in my book - doubly so when they do not extend any sort of olive branch when they make a mistake. Divi won't be getting any business from me, my family, or my friends in the future.
The employees here, phenomenal! Their attitude, their warm manner, the way they actually take care in all that they do. I will use them, and no other in the future. 100%!
Lousy service, never a straight answer, poor accommodations... no wonder everyone is trying to get out of their timeshares. I called anonymously from an unknown number just to try to get through and was 5th in the queue and did I want to leave a call back number without losing my place in line. I did and never received a call back, proving that this place just does not care about is guests. In Divi Little Bay Saint Maarten they must have been going through a rough time these past 10 years as everything just keeps going downhill. This used to be such a nice place.
Reservations are not made correctly when you make them they will tell you anything to get you to buy a week and never fall through with what they tell you. maintenance fees goes up right away. it's Bill after Bill after Bill and no customer support know customer service. Just a huge run around. Don't do a time share!!!
My name is D. Davis In October 2018 my husband and I went to the Divi in St Maartens. Arrived Saturday afternoon had a pleasant day. Sunday morning we went shopping, upon our return to our room late that morning our room floor was flooded not realizing until it was to late I had stepped into the room and down I went. If you been to the Divi you know the floors are hard with bags in my hands I had nothing to break my fall. Immediately my husband calls the front desk to inform them of what took place. When head of security came and someone from maintenance immediately they started mopping the floor (1st mistake) the security guy started asking me questions until someone from first aide came only for him to check to see if I had any broken bones. Then maintenance turns on the washing machine (which was not on in the first place) to drain the water that was in it! (2nd mistake). Because we hadn t even been 24 hours yet there was no need for us to use the laundry room. Because I hit the floor so hard they wanted me to go to the hospital but wasn t willing to take me and because I had no broken bones after their assessment told me to go on my own. Because my knee and hip was hurting so bad I did go. I wanted them only to reimburse me for the hospital bill and they were only willing to pay for half I told them unacceptable it was their fault the water was there not mine they should be responsible. By the end of the week we still heard nothing and here it is almost 3 months later and still nothing! It s not like I m claiming further damages. Now I m a little peaved I would like them to also reimburse us for the one weeks vacation we should have enjoyed due to the fact that I couldn t do anything for 2 days after I went to the hospital. And that Wednesday through Saturday before I departed I was on crutches. Nothing more, that s only common curtesy!
Wish I read some of these before we bought. Went on vacation, and it was wonderful. Bought a time share, and in over two months, they still have not created accounts. Mortgages are done faster than this. Nothing but excuses. We get bills, but without accounts, we cannot do anything online. I don't have a good feeling about this going forward.
