It's one of the best dive shops around in Singapore. Staffs are very friendly and the service was excellent! I've done 3 certifications with them as a result. Rafi, the owner is also a dive enthusiast and they organise dive trips to really exotic places! Highly Recommended :)

Thank you Rafi for a well-organized and overall great experience getting our 10 and 12 year old children certified as junior open water divers. You were patient and made sure our kids were comfortable with every skill in the pool before going for the open water dives. They were smiling every step of the way and are looking forward to a lifetime of diving. I highly recommend The Dive Company!

I got ripped off, my first dive shop i went in their to check their equipment, though i buy a reef hook got charge 40 dollars...other places you can get for much less.

I didn't know at first cause im new to diving but yea well thats punishment for not know your stuff, anyways thought i share so some wont share the same experience.

I dont know about their dive trips but if they rip me off on buying a reef hook....well i can only imagen their trips are far worst....

Just finished my Rescue Diver with Rafi and the crew at Tioman Island. It was not only a great educational experience, but I had a lot of fun chatting with the instructors and hanging out with them over the weekend. This is not a shop that just gives certificates away, you must earn them, and they tested myself and the other Rescue Divers throughout the weekend, commenting on what we did well and what needed improvement. Couldn't have had a better experience! Will surely be using them during my next adventure when I am back in Singapore!

Of course fun diving is what we look for, but safe diving is even more so important! My experience with The Dive Company is one of the greatest, with the friendly, responsible and experienced dive crews, I can enjoy my dives and learn much more from them. I completed the PADI Open Water Diving course with The Dive Company. It was my first experience with scuba diving and I really enjoyed it. Rafi, Din, and the team are very friendly and helpful. I felt safe the whole time I was under water. The trip to Tioman was well organized and tons of fun.

I have been familiar with The Dive Company Pte Ltd in Singapore since 2009 and have done many trips with them. The business is well managed by the team both in the shop (well stocked) and on (under) the water. There is a strong core of experienced and committed Instructors and Dive Masters to encourage, support and aid students and leisure divers both during pool sessions and later in the glorious waters of the region.

Most weekends in season will see a group of between 8 and 30 divers heading to Pulau Tioman off east coast of peninsula Malaysia where up to six dives are common place in a weekend. The accommodation, though basic is clean and functional, the food good and hearty and the diving superb.

In addition some longer trips are scheduled to other destinations in Malaysia, Indonesia the Philippines and Thailand. The shop can also help tailor trips elsewhere.

For a real family atmosphere, fun yet conscientious teaching and led dives, and for extra curricular opportunities to mix with the dive pro's, The Dive Company Pte Ltd, is my preferred stop in Singapore - you should make it yours!

Took up a Scuba Refresher Course with the Dive Company. They were very efficient. I got a reply on the day same day I sent out the inquiry and even managed to squeeze me in for a session on the same day.

I like that the dive shop is also very flexible in how the sessions can be conducted. I wanted some time to do some practice on my own and they managed arranged that as well. The instructors were also very approachable and friendly but also straightforward in pointing out what can be improved and also offer their own techniques based on the individual.

The second you step in to The Dive Company you are greeted with smiles all round. The crew here are extremely friendly and helpful. The team of Instructors and Divemasters are very knowledgeable and professional when it comes to Diving. They provide a wide array of PADI courses, catering to the most advanced of divers to first time divers. They also have a good selection of dive destinations to choose from. Come down and have a look for yourself! In my view, simple the best dive centre in Singapore!

I came across the 'The Dive Company' when I moved to Singapore in 2012 and I can honestly say that it has given me some of the best experiences of my time here.

From the moment I walked in the dive shop, I was greeted by smiling faces and provided with extensive information about the trips and courses that they offer. As a Dive master, I was able to join the crew for their weekend trips to Tioman, Malaysia and was immediately made to feel part of the huge family!

The Dive Company will take you off for the weekend show you some of the best dive sites around, make you laugh till you stomach hurts and return you back to Singapore happy, safe and BUZZING with excitement to go again as soon as possible!

I booked with the crew from the Dive Co on Thursday and they were very accommodating. The dive masters treated us as friends and family. If you are looking to dive with a crew who will treat you as family, this is the dive shop for you.

We paid a premium thinking our trip would be hassle free but the dive school is completely unorganised! We we're at a jetty for over 8 hours cause they din't plan things right...dives were rushed, equipment malfunctioned.

Best dive shop in Singapore, for sure. More important than that, best dive friends in there! If you feel like start diving, you should definitely consider taking a look here!

I always had the phobia of being suffocated underwater, although I am super adventures and have done all sorts of stuffs, diving was something I never tried and was never planning to try! destiny introduced me to dive company and I took the challenge! now here I am with a PADI open water diving certificate and I cant love it more! I wanna do my advanced course very soon! with the dive company you feel like you are home with your closest friends and family members. You can Trust the instructors and I guarantee you will not regret your decision! good luck with your under water journey!

Great weekend in Tioman for an Open water Padi with our 2 daughters (12 and 10 years old). Rafi and the team were great, very good with younger kids, the trip well organised and we had good fun...and got our Padi :)

I had my Open water certification done through The Dive Company and had an amazing experience with them. Their service is very professional and all staff very friendly. The material they make all prospective divers go through is very comprehensive. The subsequent tests ensure this knowledge and skills are internalized very effectively. The pool sessions before the site dive ensure participants get to try out skills in a controlled environment very safely. The site dive trip to Tioman was extremely fun. The Dive Company takes care of all your needs for a reasonable price. Rafy, the instructor who went with us to Tioman needs a special mention as he was very attentive to each individual, patient and above all fun to dive with. I recommend very highly!

Everything from signup to dive certification was seamless. Rafi, who was our dive instructor with 25 years of diving experience was really knowledgeable, fun, calm and engaging. He was very clear in his instructions and was encouraging throughout the pool session and dives. Despite diving at Pulau Hantu (which is not the best diving spot in the world), we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! Would not hesitate to recommend and join The Dive Company again on future dives.

I recently did the trip to Tioman with the Rafi & Owen to do my open water. The trip was great and well organized and both Rafi & Owen are excellent teachers. I'm already planning my next trip! I would recommend the Dive Company to others.

We were very disappointed after what we lived in these two days with the Dive company.
First of all the program of the weekend:
Friday night, when we came at meeting point, directly The teacher anounced us that we maybe have to sleep on Mersing because of traffic jam at border.
Unfortunately for him, there were not a lot of traffic jam and we reached Mersing at 11pm. So following their program we should arrived in Tioman at 3 am.

And what a surprise when we reached the Mersing hotel and all our rooms were booked ! Oh so strange,why did the rooms were booked ? We should be on Tioman on Friday night no?
So we slept in a room at 59rm for 3 instead of a room at 239 rm for 4 on Tioman. 50 rm difference per person.
And we have to wake up at 5.30am Saturday morning and do 4 dives in one day.
About the ferry, we were really surprised when a teacher ask us 50rm per person for a tax, who somebody will claims to him maybe before loading or in the journey ( it was once again really confused...).
Finally I ask him 4 times to give us back the money and he did it , but strangely,I am not sure that this tax exists... I don t know for who was supposed to be the money.


And now the best part, the diving.
My boyfriend hopefully, just rent the wetsuit and the light ( not included in the pack you propose), because when we saw the conditions of the wetsuit it was just a joke: old ( something like 10 years), totally tattered, and the size was wrong ! So he didn t use it and use the wetsuit of one our friend who had same size issue. So he paid 10$ for nothing. When we discovered the materials rented by the others divers we were just shocked. How could you rent this material in so bad conditions when we paid 400$ for a weekend ?
In the boat, no water, no food to eat between dives, nothing. But they waked up at 5.30am, so it supposes that they will be tired and they will need to eat something...
My bf was supposed to have lessons for his Advance Padi diploma. He spent 4 diving with the worst isntructor he ever had. No explanations, he didn t know where they will dive, at which deep they will go, he cannot explain the sea floor. He didn t ask them to check the materials, he didn t say nothing to people who destroyed corals when they were diving, he didn t do the safety stops correctly. And don t give any lessons to my bf . So for his Advance he learnt nothing. Only on Sunday, he did the orientation lessons outside of water with The other instructor, because The 1st one didn t do it correctly under water...
I think there is a big issue with this guy and we paid for an advance but didn t have the lessons just the diploma. That is scandalous.
On Sunday, we should leave at 3pm, but finally at 1pm we have to wait for the ferry , which came at 2.30pm. So finally we spent only 28h on the island...

So actually we spent 800sgd for a bad housing, bad dives...

Geate people, great dive crew, join them and enjoy the great underwater world.

I did my "Open Water Diving Certification Course" here and it was awesome!! Not only were the instructors very friendly and insightful, but the weekend diving trip was enjoyable and a nice bonding experience with the other participants. I am looking forward to taking my "Advanced diving certification course" here

Decided to take the open water dive course and it was an amazing experience. The staff at the Dive Company are super nice and friendly. Would love to thank Jacob my instructor, who was really patient with us and taught us how to do certain skills properly. The trip to Tioman was really wonderful because the coral life there is AMAZING!!!!!!!! I enjoyed my 5 dives and I am really happy I got my certification!!!! Would definitely dive again soon!!! Kudos to Rafi and his team for this experience!!!

great service, fun crew, reasonable prices, and most importantly the great experience if you are learning. No one will shout at you. this is not the military. you will definitely come back for more!

Attended their open water course from March 21st to 23rd and I didn't regret my decision at all! The pool lessons were very well structured and the teachings were clear. What impressed me was how calm the instructors were when teaching, which is absolutely essential for beginner divers like myself. It makes picking up the skills so much easier and enjoyable.

The trip to Tioman itself was well organised and well managed by Rafi and his team. What really struck me was how everyone was treated like a family. They created such a welcoming environment such that even though we were all strangers, everyone felt like we've known each other for ages, especially during our dinner at Tioman. I felt this was really impressive and commendable. The dive trips itself were enjoyable, with the instructors bringing us to locations such as wreck sites and coral reefs which made what we saw during the dives exciting and unexpected.

Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better trip and I am truly grateful to have been able to join them on this trip. Kudos to Rafi and his team. Looking forward to joining them on a trip soon!

The weekend dive trip to Tioman is really quite uncomfortable. We arrived only at 2 am at the "hotel" (as basic as it gets) on the mainland, sleeping for 3.5 hours before waking for the ferry trip to Tioman. Hostel on Tioman was also very basic (2 bunkbeds squeezed in a small room). Food was okayish, but we got told to wait for others of the group (who we did not know) to join our table before they would serve us. Diving was very nice, but the equipment was old (wetsuits were full of wholes). I would recommend anyone who loves diving to go with own transportation and book your own accommodation and diving at the island.

Firstly, I just wanted to start by saying a big thank you to the Dive company team - Rafi, Lionel and Felix for their time, the great fun and laughter, and looking after us during our long weekend diving trip to PulauTioman.

I did my open water course with the dive company, and enjoyed every minute of it. It was such a great experience made better by the team who accompanied us to Tioman. As i am very new to the diving scene, the one thing which i was concerned about prior to selecting a company to dive with was safety. However my instructor Rafi was great in his training of the newbies, the planning and guidance was first rate, and I never felt at any time that my safety was compromised.

As for the course, so much to learn but , and although at the beginning my breathing, buoyancy and finning was a bit like a fish out of water, by the end of the week my confidence grew and i think I made some good improvements.

I got to do a total of 8 dives over the long weekend, and each one was memorable! I got to see a puffer fish, three beautiful turtles, and a small tip shark.

If you are travelling through Southeast Asia, in Singapore for holidays, or work here long term, I recommend that you choose the The Dive Company as your scuba diving source. It is run by a great bunch of people and you will definitely have a marvelous time.
