Perfect location only 10 minutes away from Acropolis by foot. Best restaurant in town on roof floor with espectacular views.
Very rich breakfast although a little too expensive unless you eat lots. Rooms are neat and clean, not very spacious. Personnel is friendly.

I stayed 4 nights in the executive room. I can say it's one of the best hotels I've ever booked in Greece. Amazing staff, very friendly from reception to service and breakfast. A perfect breakfast is definitely a 5 star hotel. All perfectly luxurious and tasteful. The only problems at noon 2.30 with 4 around the room cleaners are disturbing noise, perhaps from heavy furniture. But everything is perfect. Its perfect location next to the museum, subway, Acropolis, slab etc. I will definitely come again ....

Checked out after one night. This is not a 5 star hotel. The check in took awhile. The room was small, the view from balcony was a joke ( balcony was facing other building and have to look at an angle to see Acropolis), only had 1 pillow per person, NO rooftop pool (pool was at garden) , the rooftop is open only at night (the only redeeming best feature and can t even get a drink and hang out in afternoon, Asian people got seated at back). Sure it s close to Acropolis but Herodion hotel is better ( wish someone has made this comment). We moved to Electra Palace Hotel where rooftop is much better with pool and bar all day, close to restaurants and plaka. Breakfast was good though to be fair. Trafalgar tours stay here so you can imagine the crowd. Wasn t really feeling it there.

I stayed in this hotel from 9th tell the 14th of October, rooms are small, view is terrible. I asked for ironing machine and staff refused,no coffee machine available.
The bed sheets smell very bad. I could not control the A/C controller. Breakfast is expensive and not good in general. Anyway I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
More than that it is noisy and you could hear any noise in the next room or the corridor.

I was happy with the standard of this hotel. The location was excellent, really beneficial if you don t have a lot of time to see the key attractions in Athens. On another note; I left behind a blazer and was sceptical about retrieving it. I got in touch with email and the blazer was returned within days. So honest and professional. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Room does not get complimentary water, no facilities for tea coffee. But otherwise, great location, wonderful view.
Captain of the Roof Top Restaurant is a gentleman of the past era.

If i could give Them zero Stars, believe me I would.
The walls are so thin that you can here your neighbor pee.
Exactly at 6:10 am a pump in the wall starts saying bum bum bum bum bum and after 3 min it does it again and again after 3 min.
We wanted to cheek out 1 day earlier because we wanted a hotel were we could sleep without listening to everybody peeing and talking and a pump making notice.
They wouldn't give us our money back for the last night.
Stupid of us we paid in advanced. But even though we didn't get our money back we changed hotel.
Don't choose this hotel!
We went to "new style hotel" instead and it's amazing. And no I don't work for the hotel I just wanna help so others don't ruin there time in Athen.

There are 3 temples including Athena Nike as the main one. It's a lovely site, glows in the sunshine . The main temple is under restoration to complete it, but that takes nothing from the splendour of the site. Well worth a visit

nice hotel, quiet room and located 300 meters from one of the acropolis entrances. the neighborhood is quiet and no night noise due to clubs, restaurants and mass tourism. for the journeys we used a motorbike rental practically in front. definitely to recommend

What an amazing experience staying at this hotel. Arguably the best location in Athens to visit all the important Athenian sites. Very well appointed rooms and the service is 1st class. Will never forget our dinner on the rooftop with a view of the Acropolis. Highly recommended. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

Pros: Comfy beds. Cons: one of those old fashioned palaces that's completely outdated now. Overpriced. You can hear what's happening in the corridor through the door. We were woken up at 6am sharp by the TV sleep light switching between blue and red (as if someone had set it up as an alarm).

Booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child, but then there was not chance to put an extra bed. Moved to a triple paying more. In both rooms air condition was very noisy, not possible to keep it on during night (at least for us), made it notice to staff when moving to triple, but they just seem not to care. Rooms need to be updated. In the room with Acropolis view you had to bend out of the terrace to see it.

Horrible hotel! Stay away! Absolutely not a 5* hotel!
The room smells disgusting, I am already having difficulties breathing from the air in the room. The bathroom is dirty, the toilet seat and paper are the lowest quality you would expect in a hostel. The so called superior room is very small and not as big as advertised on the hotel description. The hotel doesn t even have a wellness/massage option. Everything is extremely old. When you use the elevator you need to pray not to crash or get stuck. The receptionist was very unprofessional insisting that the hotel is not actually going to invoice the stay because it was not booked directly through them. Seriously?! Never had this before and I am a frequent traveler, any other week in a different hotel. Basically the beginning of a horrible wasted holiday.

Decent hotel ....we were in the old section....with very nice staff. Very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and well appointed. We had the included breakfast package. Breakfast buffet was average. Some items were prepared wonderfully and some not so much. Coffee was always luke warm and fairly weak. Great location to the Acropolis and new museum. Close to the Plaka with some great restaurants.

At arrival there were 4 persons at the reception but none of them looked up when we came in and we had to stand there for about 45 seconds before they spoke to us - one didn't feel welcome att all. Otherwise everything else almost okay, strange smell in the room when one enters but disappears when one opens balcony door.

During my 3 day overnight stay in Divani, I was actually at peace.
Everyone was super polite, courteous, helpful.
I'm not entirely at peace for my room.
As other guests write, I always had a strange smell in my nose when I opened my room door. Second problem, a lot of dust when arriving, for example coffee machine + coffee capsules, not cleaned up even after departure. The restaurant upstairs in the garden is not the best restaurant now, the food was not worth five stars for me personally, but it's a matter of taste

Good points are that it is walking distance to Acropolis (no view of Acropolis though) about 900m and to Plaka, the walking tourist traps. The bad points are that the towels need to be changed - they are over used and there is no coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms. You would expect for the price you pay, better in room facilities. Also, this hotel seems to be a favorite among tour groups so you can expect the crowds in the lobby as well as during breakfast.

The pool is small (tiny to some) and the dry sauna in the gym seems to be out of place.

Personally, I would rather stay somewhere further with better facilities.

Nice place. Very good location beside the Acropolis. Between two metro stations. 400 meters away from the Acropolis museum. Meters away from shops and restaurants. Room needed more stuff like water heater for coffee and tea. And the restaurant on the roof shouldn't be closed during the winter. Stuff are very friendly and you should not miss the breakfast.

Decent hotel with amenities. Service in most cases is excellent. Some issues in the two rooms I stayed, one with the noise starting early in the morning regardless of the day (even Saturday), and the other with the blocked bathroom for a day and a half. When formally reported they directly fixed it. Overall the hotel is in great central location with many restaurants around and walking distance to a variety of services.

5 star hotel with very good price, in a very quiet area of Athens and very close to the Acropolis. The rooms are very comfortable, the Wi Fi is a little loose and you have to juggle but in general it works well. It is very appreciated an interior patio with a little garden and a small pool to cool off and have a beer after kicking Athens is like an oasis.

A perfectly situated hotel minutes from the acropolis. Room was large and clean. Big gym with sauna. Breakfast was good with some traditional Greek foods. Staff was friendly and helpful. TV with English channels. Good air conditioning. Some noise in room on 7th floor. Missing kettle and tea/coffee in room. Tap water tasted with chlorine, though seems common in Athens.

Very nice and clean hotel. Located in a quiet neighborhood right next to the acropolis. Modern and clean rooms, with balcony overlooking the neighborhood. Excellent value. Large buffet breakfast with hot and cold food. Walk to the Acropolis in 5 minutes at the end of the street.
