Myself and my husband live in London but we always imagined a destination wedding in gorgeous Tuscany after having made so many wonderful memories there together. Even though my husband, James, spoke Italian, it was absolutely the right call to hire DIW as our wedding planners, opting for the full package.

Stefania was our planner and she was absolutely brilliant throughout the process. From the beginning she listened carefully to our vision and our preferences and from this, she was able to curate a wedding that exceeded our high expectations -from the perfect venue, to the caterers, to the florist, to the band etc etc!

For anyone else who is a control freak (like me), be rest assured that the level of involvement you prefer in your wedding is entirely possible. Stefania did all of the hard work and all we had to do was choose from a few carefully selected vendors who met our budget and other requirements. As a result, the planning process was collaborative, stress-free and so much fun.

Without Stefania and DIW's expertise, there is no way we would have had such a positive experience if we had to source and secure vendors ourselves. I would highly recommend using DIW as your wedding planner. Stefania was responsive, trustworthy, efficient and her enthusiasm in helping us create our dream wedding really shone through. Thank you!

We cannot recommend distinctive italy weddings enough. Sarah was absolutely amazing and helped us guide us through the process in such a way that from our first contact with her and DIW we were completely at ease and stress free.

Every thing was able to be handled and arranged through email and phone. And in our trips to Italy she made sure they were full of viewings, tastings and trials as so not to waste a day.

The actual wedding was perfect and they were able to find a venue (villa catinagno) that was beyond description and something we could never have found on our own.

During the 3 days at the venue they even stayed on site to help us manage even the slightest hiccup. We cannot fault them and loved the whole experience.

It s almost impossible to articulate in a few sentences how amazing Rosanna and her team are. It was apparent almost immediately after our initial call with Rosanna that we were in great hands and our wedding day would be perfect. The venue selection process was seamless, Rosanna set us up with Rita, her local contact in Lake Como, and we spent the day visiting venues around the lake. Rita knew Lake Como and its history better than the tour guide our hotel connected us with the day prior. As soon as we walked into Villa del Balbianello, we knew this was where we were going to get married. Soon after selecting the venue, Rosanna set us up with our wedding planner, Sarah. Again, within a minute of our first call we knew that we were in great hands. Sarah was able to take our vision and bring it to life. Her advice, calming demeanor and overall exceptional ability to execute made the planning process fun and easy. Sarah was able to quickly grasp our vision and worked tirelessly for twelve months to ensure our vision came to life on our wedding day. Rosanna and Sarah used Aisle Planner to plan almost every aspect of our wedding with us. The platform is intuitive and keeps vendors, payments, notes, design ideas and the budget centrally located and extremely organized. Aisle Planner was very helpful throughout the planning process. The day of our wedding, Rita and Lara were with us. There was very little for us to worry about. They took control of everything and we were able to relax and thoroughly enjoy being surrounded by friends and family. Our wedding was truly a dream come true, and that dream became a reality because of Rosanna and Sarah s hard work, dedication and meticulous attention to detail. We owe Rosanna, Sarah and their team a huge thank you for making our wedding the most memorable event of our lives to date.

We met Rosanna while looking for a service to help with our wedding in Italy. Being from the U.S. with no experience planning a ceremony in Italy, we didn't even know where to start. We interviewed a few wedding coordinating companies, and found Rosanna from Distinctive Weddings, to be the most professional and informative. She answered all of the questions we had as well as many we had not thought of yet. She had inspiring ideas and was very timely with her responses. Rosanna spent many hours researching villa locations and forwarding various selections to us for review. We were also looking at villas online, and in the end, we decided to book a villa that we found on our own which required we use a coordinator of the villa owner's choosing. We are disappointed that we will not be working with Rosanna as we know she would have created the wedding of our dreams. We highly recommend Rosanna and can attest that anybody choosing her as their wedding coordinator will be in very capable hands.

I can t say enough of how much of a pleasure it was working with DIW. Rosanna and her team put in so much time to understand what we were looking for even before a contract was signed and did an incredible job at making recommendations based on our desires and budget. I love that Rosanna truly understood our requirements and therefor was able to guide us to something that fit perfectly for our dream wedding. It was clear that DIW truly cared about making this an unforgettable and amazing day for their clients. The advice that we received, the understanding of what we wanted, the speed at which they worked, among other things was truly amazing and made them a joy to work with. DIW made it very easy to enjoy this process rather than feel stressed. Highly recommend DIW to anyone looking to have a wedding in Italy who wants to pull off their dream wedding while having a fun planning experience!

Firstly, I don t even know where to begin.
When I knew I was planning on getting married in Italy, I struggled to find a wedding planner that understood what I wanted or even got a long with. And then I found DIW and spoke to Stefania. She was fantastic ! She was so helpful with all the requirements.

Then there was Stefania.
No words can describe how amazing she is ! She is the best wedding planner and was so helpful and understanding and knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding from the church, to the reception, the flowers and especially the amount of paperwork that had to be done. She was very patient with me, even if I didn t understand something, she would help me. She made my wedding day feel like a fairytale and it was a dream come true. After 1 year of planning, we finally got there and it was the best day of our lives. Florence was an amazing location and I wouldn t of chosen anything else. All of my guests were stunned by how beautiful the wedding was, especially the church (Chiesa di Ognisanti) and the villa (Villa La Vedetta) and that s all thanks to Stefania and the DIW team.
I felt like a princess and that s how you should feel.
So thank you again so much for everything you organized for myself and my husband Cosmo. We appreciated everything you did for us. I highly recommend Distinctive Italy Weddings. 10/10 !!!

I can't even begin to put into words how phenomenal, professional, and amazing the team at Distinctive Italy Weddings is!!! From beginning to end Stefania made the entire process seamless and easy! At times I even forgot I was planning a wedding she was that good. Look no further...I would highly recommend Distinctive Italy Weddings to whoever wants to get married in Italy! The wedding was a dream come true and every detail was superb. My husband and I, our family and friends, can't stop raving over how beautiful and perfect the day was. We certainly will never forget it!! We can't thank Stefania enough for making all of our dreams come true.

DIW was incredible from the start. They really are a cohesive team with the best vendor connections in Italy. We interviewed multiple wedding planners in Italy and based on Rosanna's quick responses, their clearly amazing reputation (and gorgeous Instagram photos), and competitive pricing it was a no brainer for us! Rosanna set the stage for a smooth process, Raffaela planned an absolutely breath taking affair, and Neve was the PERFECT day of coordinator. Thank you SO much DIW for making our dram come to life!! We loved every minute!

My husband and I were married in Tuscany back on August 18, 2018. We were nervous to plan a destination wedding and having family and friends commit to flying to Italy, but Sarah, Rosanna and the rest of the Distinctive Italy Weddings team could not have made it any easier! They were prompt and responsive, took time to see our vision of a wedding in the hills of Italy, and executed it flawlessly. They helped us find a venue and once it was secured started right away with all the vendors. Sarah was there on the wedding day from start to finish, making sure every detail from flowers, to makeup, to church decor and table settings was on time and on point. The morning of my wedding I was able to wake up and meet my bridal party for champagne, hair and makeup without any other thoughts besides marrying my husband that day! They took the stress of planning completely away... and as I bride I can not explain how much of a blessing that is! We contacted the Distinctive Italy Team for my daughters wedding at very short notice, with a huge agenda focused on 150 guests. We were handled like VIPs and I still cannot fathom how Rosanna and her team planned and pulled off what our guests called the most amazing wedding they had ever attended.
Every detail was perfect and my whole family is extremely greatful for the speedy execution and managing to get every single guest from the airport to the accommodation and then to the venue.

Everything went perfectly and our guests have been raving about the wedding ever since our big day! Honestly, if you are planning a wedding abroad an experienced local wedding planner is a MUST! We could not have done it without them. They were very creative, helpful, timely, nice, and had a great attitude. There services were helpful in scouting/finding our venue, coordinating all the vendors and contracts prior to the wedding, as well as helping us on the actual wedding day/welcome dinner!
