Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort Review

Next to where we stayed. Enjoyed pool. Checked out lobby, fitness center, small ice cream place. Very high quality place. Probably more expensive than the beach resort where we did stay

Conference center was top notch, excellent location for a conference.

Had an amazing dinner at the Yachtsman steak house!

Perfect area. Lots to do, easy access to the parks.

Beautiful resort, friendly staff, short walk to Epcot. Just recently added a market where you can get food and beverages.

Yatch club was amazing, love the small boats the have on display by the reception area, amazing.

We didn't stay at this resort but had dinner there, so our experience is limited to that. We are staying in the Pop Century Resort. But the Yacht Club has an upscale New England style. At Christmas time, they had a choir doing some live carols by the gingerbread carousel. There is what can only really be described as a water park attached to the resort. It was massive and certainly worthy of attention for those spending some time at the resort during their stay or if they have kids.

The resort is excellent. The staff is great and the proximity to the parks couldn't be better.

Great spot, close to everything with a fun pool to waste time between trips to the parks.

Fun, convenient, a little pricey but enhances your Disney experience greatly.

Lovely atmosphere, stopped here for a little bit of shopping on the way back to Riverside. Very friendly cast members here!

What an amazing resort! The attention to detail they give to the rooms, in the service, the view and down to the food is spectacular. Far exceeded my expectations. You can clearly see the fireworks at the end of the night from your balcony. Thank you Disney s Yacht Club Resort.

Convention center is awesome, super elegant and the staff very professional.

One of my favorite Disney hotels if not my overall favorite. It has the best pool of all the hotels, great views of the lake from the room, you can walk to Epcot or Studios, it's next to the boardwalk, it's restaurants are good, and nicely themed. Concierge level works great too.

I highly recommend this resort. It is clean, staffed by friendly people and close to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The on site dining is also excellent.

The New York strip was delicious. 10/10 would eat again

Yachtsman steakhouse is a must go for anyone in the Disney area.

Great room. The pools are amazing. Club level buffet means don't bother getting the deluxe meal plan. You'll pop trying to eat every thing

Love this hotel! Pool is made to look like a beach. You can walk to Epcot. Shares a lake with Beach Club and Boardwalk Resorts. Yachtman s Steakhouse is amazing. Beaches & Cream has an amazing Banana Split Sundae.

We love the Disney's Yacht Club Resort. The property and rooms were great. The pool is amazing, love the sandy bottom on the pool. It so much fun no matter what age you are! It is a just a short walk to the Disney Boardwalk and Epcot! Definely can't wait to come back!

Great place!. Captain's Grille has a decent menu and full bar.

Very clean, friendly staff. Kids love the wrist band and using them to get into the room and access to the parks.

Good friendly service , clean rooms. Snack bar could use more selection and better late night menu. Room service quick and not too over priced.

Perfect for a romantic getaway. Beautifully decorated and maintained. The Yachtsman Steakhouse was second to none! My new favorite restaurant on Disney's property.

A beautiful Resort with gorgeous rooms. Very close to EPCOT, so it's super convenient.

Met with friends for dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse and it did not disappoint. The bread service includes roasted garlic which was divine and the meal itself was scrumptious. A definite must experience if you can.

Shop is expensive and Disney springs is much much cheaper so recommend. If you are buying anything visit there and food there is also much much cheaper

Disney Magic to the rescue folks. Let me set the scene, my wife, son and I were at Yachtsman Steakhouse for wedding anniversary dinner, lovely meal, the wee fella just seemed off his food. After leaving we got along the corridor, just round the corner and.....he puked his guts up. So there's my lovely wife that had spent ages getting ready for tonight standing with her dress covered, chunks hanging from her hair and my wee boy drenched to the skin standing in the now half puke covered corridor . We alerted bell services and this lovely lass, Savannah turned up and said not to worry, she had sorted out housekeeping, which appeared in seconds, and then asked for my name and where we were staying , then said she wanted to get my son a new t shirt and shorts and sort us out with a taxi back to Disney villa. Folks I'm in my 40's and don't mind saying, it hit a nerve and I had tears in my eyes as I was trying to clean up my boy with wet wipes in the middle of the hall. At that my wife returned from the bathroom, looking a little worse for wear, Savannah saw her and said she'll be back to help. A few minutes later, the front desk manager @ Yacht & Beach, Randall turned up with Savannah and said he was so sorry, wanted to take us to the shop, kit out my son and wife with clothes so they could get home, get my son a Mickey plush toy and get us a Mears taxi home. The shop cast members were fantastic with us coming in, "smelling" and half naked, got us redressed, got the wee fella a Mickey plush toy, colouring book and crayons and let us get changed in the fitting room. Folks I cannot tell you how thankful I am to these wonderful cast members at The Yacht Club for helping us out, looking after us, getting our anniversary night back on track and getting us delivered back to our home resort. I have read about magic moments for folk when things go wonky, now I can truly say they do happen and I feel so thankful and blessed they do. If you happen to meet Savannah or Randall, please give them a hug or high five from us, they are fantastic.

Beautiful design and great amenities. Very well located for guests that want to visit Epcot and Hollywood Studios

Wonderful! First time staying club level and overall impressed. We were a bit disappointed the food offering was the same each day. Love all the luggage storage available in the room. Beds and pillows were great. Double sinks a must with four in room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hated to leave. Hoping to come back in the future.

The location is GORGEOUS, the service has been friendly as ever. The room we are in this time around, on club level, is rather inconveniently placed JUST down the hall from the concierge desks and elevators, so it is as good as being right next to a lobby, but it could also be a lot worse. The view, especially, is quite lovely.

As of 6/9/17 the rooms on the 3rd,4th and 5th floor are all new rooms. The 1st and the 2nd floor rooms are all closed right now for remodeling. The pictures below are of the new rooms.

We had a pretty disappointing experience with the front desk as we were given false information about our reservation and was only resolved almost an hour later by a manager who was "put off" by having to help us.

But, the room was cool.

Our fav hotel at disney. We always stay here. The best of everything, especially the pool.

Best Epcot resort in WDW by far. The pool is second to none. Great food selection, Location is tremendous, and the rooms are very nice.

Pretty great place for an adult vacation. We stayed on club level which includes a lot of free drinks and snacks. Only issues were that the shower wasn't clean and the patio door was off its track when we checked in, but both were fixed quickly after talking to the front desk. Very close to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios, and has easy bus connections to Magic and Animal Kingdoms. Also has an enormous pool

Yachtsman steakhouse was very good. Waiting staff was very knowledgable.

Another amazing Disney resort! The pool is so fun, like a beach with lots of sand. There is a really big water slide as well as a really small one for the littles.

I loved the convenience of being able to walk into the back entrance of Epcot. It's even possible to walk to Hollywood studios. Or you can take the boat to either one. It's more quiet than the Beach Club but right next to it so you can have more variety with their store and quick service kitchen. I also really appreciated that they have rooms that can sleep 5. Now that we have 3 kids, it's tricky trying to book hotel rooms and this Disney hotel makes it easy.

They have great managers who want to ensure you have a magical experience.

We were walking through the resort to show a friend what it looked like. We did not spend long, just passing through.

The Yacht Club is a Beautiful resort. One of my favorite places on Disney Property to have breakfast at the Ale & Compass. I recommend the buffet. It is priced at $23 plus tax and gratuity and includes one entree from the menu.

Had dinner at Yachtsman's Steakhouse with the entire family to celebrate being together for Christmas. Always a phenomenal meal and great service from Darrel and Ricardo each time we get them.

Nice location. Short Walk to Epcot and circular walkway around the small lake and to other resorts like boardwalk. One of the smaller quieter resorts.

Room and grounds are amazing, staff is great. Pool closes earlier than other resorts and they could stand for more diverse quick serve options. There was no hot water or good water pressure either. Would honestly rather book a moderate resort.

Good location, convenient shuttle and boat services to the theme parks.

This in one of my favorite disney hotels to stay at. Its in a prime location near epcot and the boardwalk, has an amazing pool (with sand that doesnt get annoying at the bottom of it) and has pretty good food options as well!

Food was pretty good at Ale and Compass, and super easy to get to Epcot.

Visited to dine at the yachtsman. An amazing dinner with great service and food.

Dinner was absolutely amazing. Our waitress was very accommodating and helpful as well as very knowledgeable. She also helps with some recommendations on other restaurants as well as help with the parks.

Messed up our reservation, had to move rooms. Food court very small.

Very disappointed. Room furnishing could be repainted Red Roof. Very small rooms. Shops and restaurants on property overpriced even for Disney standards. Will not stay at that location again.

Very good buffet . Fair price and all foods were hot and tasty. Service was excellent.
