Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort Review

This place is great. The staff is incredible (the desk staff, the food service staff, everyone).

Delight in nautical touches and sophisticated amenities at Disney's Yacht Club Resort a grand, Martha's Vineyard-themed hotel at Walt Disney World Resort.

Loved everything about the Yacht Club. Good size rooms with a wonderful view of the EPCOT fireworks and the Boardwalk. Walking distance to both EPCOT and Hollywood studios. Staff was kind snd attentive. Would highly recommend!

The Regatta lounge had been amazing phenomenal customer service and great rooms!

The Christmas decorations were beautiful. We went only in the lobby.

When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff. Our room was very nice and everything and everyone was always pleasant and helpful. Thanks to all the staff for helping make our stay great.

I went to the yacht club just for dinner. Nice steaks. Sides are shareable in portion size.

Had a really great dinner at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Excellent food and great service. Our waitress Beverly really made it a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend this place!

Great hotel, has the best pool with sand on the bottom and a lazy river. And the captains grill is excellent!

We had dinner at the yachts men's club and our waiter was horrible. He sat and talked at another table and messed up our order 3 times.

Stopped at the Crew Club for dinner. A little disappointed the menu was updated. The waitress explained that they received their fingers through 'The Captains Grille', however, since it closed they started to receive though the Yachtsmen. Even though I no longer was able to get what I wanted I was very pleased with the food. The only concern was the amount of time to be served was a little slow.

As always, the Disney cast members delivered a magical experience for our stay at the Yacht & Beach Club resort. Being connected to the boardwalk area, the boat transportation to Epcot and Hollywood Studios is just behind the resort, or you can even take a fairly short walk to the side entrance to Epcot. Pool areas are fun for all ages.

Ate dinner at the Yachtman's Steakhouse. Dinner was phenomenal and the service was outstanding.

A cozy place, I liked the decoration and the accessibility for the parks.

We stayed here for 2 nights for an adults-only trip, and this resort ended up being absolutely perfect for that. The theming was sophisticated and well done, the service was top-notch, and all the food we had while staying here from the Yachtsman Steakhouse to the Market's quick service restaurant was absolutely delicious. The resort was very quiet as well, which was appreciated after the quick walk back from Epcot after a long day in the park.

The resort itself is large and has lots of corners, nooks, and crannies, so finding your way around can be a little difficult at first. They have plenty of navigational signage, however, which helps out immensely.

We found our room to be very clean and comfortable, and the cast members across the property were very courteous and helpful. We did have an issue with our air conditioning on the second night, but they managed to get that sorted out in short order.

Overall, I'd definitely return to this location in the future, especially for another adults-only trip.

I really enjoyed my first stay at the Yacht Club, the newly renovated rooms were very nice and had all the amenities I've come to expect with Disney. The location is great for Boardwalk access and dining options, especially if you have to eat on the later side. It's within walking distance of Epcot and Hollywood Studios so if those are your preferred parks then I'd definitely recommend it. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, especially when we couldn't get into our room after doing the online check-in. So a big thank you to the staff and a note to NEVER stop putting out lemon water! It is perfect on the hot Florida days.

A great deluxe resort at Disney. Shares its property with the Beach Club, although it seems that too much is on the Beach Club side and not the Yacht Club side. Best pool at any of the Disney resorts by far.

Go here for beaches and cream ice cream shop. I've never stayed at the resort but its absolutely beautiful. Love the ice cream shop though. Highly recommend going if you're gonna be around there.

We ate at the Yachtsman for dinner were disappointed in the quality of food and the service. We were the 5th table sat after they opened for dinner and we sat for over 2 hrs before they brought our food. Then they ended up getting my order wrong! I got the $59 Kansas City steak and it tasted like I could have bought it from Walmart for $10. They new there were issues but only gave us 10% off our meal after several mistakes and delays.

Just ok, over rated if you ask me but the lobby and quiet pool was nice.

Lifeguards were extremely friendly. My party got stuck in a rain storm and they had towels already waiting for us to dry off with and were extremely helpful.

There are better resorts on Disney to stay at. Nice and clean but some people will have to walk up to a quarter mile inside to get to your room. Not something you want after walking in the park all day.

The Yacht Club convention center is beautiful. Everything Disney creates is treated with such fine craftsmanship, it's amazing. Every staff person at this property is beyond friendly and helpful.

I have stayed at 2 moderate resorts on previous trips. Caribbean Beach in 2010, and Port Orleans Riverside in 2016. The only noticeable improvement the Yacht Club has is that the long walk back to your room is indoors and air conditioned. It is also nice to be able to walk to Epcot, but in 90 plus degree heat, we would not attempt to walk to Hollywood Studios. My biggest complaint is the lack of quick service options at both the yacht and beach club. In my opinion, it was not worth the added cost. I am glad I experienced it first hand so I could make the judgment myself. This may be a non-issue for some people. I also must say that there is no difference in the customer service between the moderate and deluxe resorts. It is all Disney quality, which is fantastic.

Gorgeous and loved that they had a quieter pool areas away from the resort sun and fun spots for kids! Water slide captains ship was a nice touch!

The Yacht Club at Walt Disney World is a beautiful place filled with a wonderful variety of amenities for both the adult and the child. We had a great time at afternoon tea and would visit again in a heartbeat.

We had dinner at The Yachtsman Steakhouse on Monday, September 24th. The food was amazing, we all had filets, but mixed up the potatoes and sauces that came with them. Barry was our server and he was wonderful, kind and thoughtful. A delicious meal and a true dining experience.

Very convenient for both Disney Hollywood Studios and Epcot.

Proximity to the Beach Club Resort provides so many additional amenities and benefits.

One criticism would be that the AC in the hallways is ridiculously cold!!

We spent our Disney World vacation there. Very nice facility. By bus and boat or on foot (Epcot) all parks are very easy to reach. Friendly from arrival to departure. Good selection of restaurants. Pool area very nice. Not cheap but not overpaid. Gladly again.

An excellent choice of resort at Disney. Proximity to parks, dining and other resorts are the biggest benefits. Five minute walk to Epcot world showcase entrance and a twenty minute walk or short boat ride to Hollywood Studios. Boardwalk, Yatch Club, and Beach Club dining all readily accessible. Room sizes are good, enough room for a family of five. The pool is the best of any Disney resort.

Did a dinner cruise from the marina for the IllumiNations at EPCOT. The boat captain was awesome, the fireworks great, but the food was awful. The large cheese plate with fruit consisted of several pieces of cheese and two small bunches of grapes. The pizza was soggy and greasy and the chocolate cake had no flavor at all.

Very nice resort. From the last time I stayed here they refurbish the rooms and they did s great job. If I'm honest I will say I miss having carpeted floors the tile is nice to keep clean but not warm to the feet. probably the most USB charging ports have ever seen in one hotel room I think I counted 14 which is hugely beneficial.

We had a great dinner at the yachtsman resturant....best prime rib ever

Accommodations are very nice all the staff are so helpful. The room had more then enough handy USB plugs and outlets to satisfy any family, I count 24 combined. The bed frame is high enough to fit all of our suitcases under the beds and out of the way. Prices on site are expensive, but the food has been good with fair portions, and you are in the heart of Disney.

Ate at the steakhouse, it was very good! Great food, great staff!

Buffet at this place is incredibly over priced. Not sure why it's so hard to get into.

We ate dinner at Yachtsman. The service was great and the food was really good. The food was a bit pricey, but overall a great experience.

If you *get* Disney, you'll know what I mean when I say that the Beach Club is just Disney perfect.

Went to the steakhouse with my family. After being seated and receiving drinks it took another 40 minutes for us to be able to order food in total we were there for about two and a half hours ALTHOUGH food definitely work it

We went to Beaches and Cream and the service was ok. We ordered hotdogs and drinks and they took a long time to come. Server tried to push for more drinks to be ordered even suggesting one to go. Food was tasty but we didn't have their speciality sundaes.

Love the Yacht club and the Beach club. Rooms are sooo nice and food is great. You have to experience Beaches and Cream there and if you have 4 or more people get the kitchen sink for dessert. It is the largest icecream sundae on the planet.

Reservations made over 2 weeks ago. Clerk at the desk playing "I can't find you a room". MOST UNHAPPY.

Food was excellent and so was the service. Highly recommend the place
