Amazing dinner at the yachtsman. Restaurant manager knows how to treat guests
We actually stayed at the Beach Club Resort. Visited the Yaht Club to eat at their restaurant. It was DELICIOUS.
The cast were very helpful and positive when navigating me throughout the hotel. Staff ranging from the check in desk to engineering services were friendly and did not hesitate to greet with a smile.
Nice place, clean. Cast members focused in their positions. Not exactly the place for kids.
Very elegant lobby as soon as you walk in. The pool is so amazing, real sand bottom, lazy river, hot tub, pool side bar, water slides, and areas for the kids and adults. They even have events at the pool for the kids. Worth skipong a day at the park for the pool. Water ferry access to Hollywood studios, epoxy, and boardwalk. Walking across to epcot rear entrance.
Really nice, the only thing I didn't like was everything was at the next door property or across at the disney boardwalk. The cafe wasn't much and the on property restaurants were expensive.
An amazing resort. The complete Disney experience. Located at the center of Disney World, with walking access to Hollywood Studios and Epcot.
Very nice hotel and what about the staff who care for us
Beautiful resort the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful
Loved coming here ever since I was a kid. Always a great time. The sand bottom pool is phenomenal.
The Yachtsman Steakhouse was absolutely delicious. The French Onion soup was amazing and the service was friendly and efficient.
I went here for dinner and the food was exceptional. We started with lobster bisque and it was delicious. They also provide fresh baked onion rolls which split apart along with butter and roasted garlic. I got the 10oz filet medium rare (my wife the 6oz) and it was cooked perfectly. Thankfully so because so many "steak houses" these days struggle to even cook the steak correctly. The steak comes with mashed potatoes, my wife asked for potatoes au gratin instead and they were accommodating. We also split the truffle Mac and cheese and it was very tasty but after all the steak and onion rolls we were unable to finish it. For dessert we split the creme brulee which was a decadent and completely overkill way to finish the meal. Along with all those items we split a bottle of wine ($54) and had a kids meal for my daughter. All together the bill was about $235 + $50 tip. But I'd definitely come back here for another steak.
We went to a luncheon and the vegetarian entree was terrible. I would not ordering it again.
Great location and centralized to Disney. Event was well-planned and everything looking amazing.
Disney's Yacht Club Resort was my first entry point into the World of Disney. It's a 20 minute Uber ride from the Orlando airport and is literally right next to Epcot. The resort itself has a conference space, several restaurants (with decent food too!), and a HUGE pool with white sand on the bottom (It feels so awesome!). The staff are very welcoming and the rooms are spacious and well designed. I'd stay here any time!
I went to have lunch at Ale & Compass and the service and food were great! No complaints. Everything went smoothly.
Absolutely loved it! Must stay on the 5th floor. Walking distance to epcot!
When we visited the Yacht Club Resort it wasn't to stay overnight, so I can't speak to the rooms themselves. (My family was staying at another Disney resort and wanted to see the Yacht Club to see if we wanted to stay there for a future trip). The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The lobby and hallways we saw were clean and well maintained, and like all Disney properties the themeing and decoration was top notch. Keep in mind there is a convention center in this resort, so you may be visiting while a large convention is going on.
Dinner was great though after not letting us check in for our reservation for an hour, they let us know there were running behind on 9ur 8:20 reservation.
When there for breakfast before the candlelight processional...it was amazing
The room is large, the environment is quiet and comfortable, the lake view room has a great view, and the sound insulation can be further enhanced
Great service, great food. Fun escape from reality!
Great service and very clean. Have a couple great bars also.
Love staying there. The back entrance to Epcot is just around the corner and easy access food and entertainment at the boardwalk.
Limited quick serve breakfast options but you can walk to the beach club easy enough.
Nice dinner, decent service. A bit too noisy for a $$$ restaurant.
If you haven't been there you need to go it is amazing how everything is top-notch. There is no way you cannot go here and not have an outstanding time. The food is great you are within walking distance to everything. The pool area is outstanding. And the staff is phenomenal.
Great place to stay! I was by through, but I frequently go here to visit and for food. This shares the best pool on property with the beach club. Go here
Visited friends here and we thoroughly enjoyed the resort
The service was excellent. The pool area was amazing. The water was the cleanest I've ever seen. Never a single insect! But most of all the experience shined at the poolside bar with the bartender Tom. This man was working all day and never skipped a beat! He obviously loves his job and is passionate about it. This is the type of employee I wish we had. Give Tom a raise! A+
This is the place to have the perfect stay at Disney world
Great resort. Shares the pool and such with the Beach Club. Pools are sandy. Area to play in sand also.
Stayed here for a conference. The bus takes you straight to Disney. Nice rooms. Television was a bit outdated
Room was amazing and the staff were at their Disney best!
Very satisfied with our stay at the yacht club. The room was so clean, and the service was great.
First Disney resort I've stayed at that has been this bad. The value resorts are cleaner than this. Poor service. Room was dirty. Piss and pubic hair in toilet the first day. They never swept the room and only transportation to Epcot and Hollywood Studios was via boat. Horrible experience. Will never stay here again.
Beautiful resort right on the water with quick walking access to Epcot, as well as great shopping, dining, dessert, and entertainment. Great resort in a great location.
If you want luxery at Walt Disney World, this is it. Beautiful decor, wonderful amenities, the best pool on property and walking distance to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
I was so impressed with all staff working in the Disney Corporation. From the GSR's at the airport all the way to a restaurant staff that turned in my lost IPad Mini. I have never stayed at a Disney Resort before thinking it was just to commercialized. The staff help make it personal and I have nothing but good things to say. I wish more large business would model this type of professionalism. You are doing it right Disney!
I dream of going back! Club level was perfect for me and my wife
Really nice, can be expensive for things but this should ever expected, it is a resort. Staff was friendly. The stairs are not well marked at all, and the elevators are slow! No complaints other than that.
Well, we had a dinner failure. Had reservation at the Ale and Compass. When we checked in, we were told they were running behind. A few minutes later, they disclosed there was a problem in the kitchen and they could only serve salads and soup, no entrees. That wasn't going to work for out family.
So we shuffled over to the Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. We've eaten here before. It was good, but we were looking for something different.
I did not stay there but it was a nice walk from the Boardwalk where we were staying. Yacht club is incredible. It is a must. Absolutely beautiful. So upset we were not able to get a room since it was and along with the Beach club our first choice to stay. Had a nice time walking around though. If you see you can get a room, dont hesitate BOOK IT. You'll miss out on a great opportunity.
Very nice Disney resort! Much more upscale than most others. Great location with easy access from all areas of Disney World. I highly recommend their restaurants!
Spent some time at Disney's yacht club, rooms are expensive for the night upward around$700... But to be expected and is a pretty good resort.
Enjoyed the sand filled pool and water slide. Had a good time.
Back for the second time! This is still my most favorite restaurant! We had the BEST waitress and experience, thanks to Phylicia! She is bubbly, kind, and attentive! Top notch service and the most delicious meal! Highly recommend this being a regular stop for all!
Captain's Grill was absolutely atrocious as far as the quality and level of service. Until Disney ups their game here...stay away. You will be better served elsewhere. This after three separate dining experiences. Nuf said.
Awesome food, staff, views and wine selection. Very busy but we were worked in after a long wait. Reserve ahead- well worth the wait.
A beautiful Disney property within walking distance of EPCOT and Hollywood Studios (if you choose) or you can take the boats. The hotel is gorgeous and the cast members are very helpful.
For a Steak House, Disney's Yacht Club was esquisit. And since someone else was paying, it was more pleasant not to deal with the Bill...
Beautiful updates to the rooms at yacht club. Very modern and fresh with subtle Disney touches.
Attended a conference here and it was extremely well organized and there were Dinner staff everywhere making sure everything was perfect.
The resort has wonderful public spaces full of expected and provided amenities from both Disney and hosting members. The bus wait times are surprisingly long especially for this location, but a taxi can get you where you need to be if you're in a hurry.
