Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort Review

We visited the Yacht Club because we were visiting disney world for the week. It's a close walk or boat ride to the Hollywood park and an even closer walk to epcot. With shuttles to any of the other parks. The staff was friendly and helpful. We only needed to talk to them at check in and check out as we had no problems with our stay. Being a disney resort they linked our magic bands to our rooms and we were even able to have items bought in the park delivered to the gift shop at our resort. While it was more expensive then some off site hotels you get a better overall experience if you are visiting for disneyworld and I would suggest anyone look into this or one of the other Disney resorts if they take a vacation to Disney world. All and all a great time, a great trip, and a great experience.

Can't say enough good things. Clean and relaxing and everything is near. Pool is the best of any you'll find on Disney property.

There aren t enough stars in the world to express how fantastic of a time we had at the resort. The beachy pool is phenomenal. The older kids loved the big slide and the preschooler loved the little slide! The sandy entrance and sand areas were great! Multiple hot tubs, lazy river, volleyball, etc... The hotel staff were attentive and kind!

If there is something 5 stars in the world it is D'sYCR. Simple, go enjoy it

The yachtsman steakhouse is a great place for dinner

I visited the Yacht Club to visit some friends who were staying there and as soon as I walked in I was blown away.

Everything was fantastic. Excellent service, beautiful resort. Best place to stay on Disney Property!

Absolute best resort on the Disney property. Combination of beautiful decor and rooms, accessibility to two of the theme parks and Boardwalk, and the best pool of any on-property resort.

We had dinner in the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Fantastic melt in the mouth steak and the service was second to none. Beautiful hotel as well

Clean beautiful rooms. We had a water view and it was spectacular.

Of all of the disney resorts this is truly always a favorite. The hotel is beautiful and the pool is the largest in all of the disney hotels. The service tends to be better in the highest tier of hotels like this one. It's also nice being so close to epcot as well.

Always enjoyable. Best pool on Disney property. Relaxing and can walk the boardwalk and around the world. EPCOT!

Went to the bar and didn't get any service for twenty minutes. They were understaffed though so not the bartenders' fault.

The nightly fireworks show ruined fireworks for me for life, and I was born on the fourth of July.

Got ice cream at beaches and cream. So good. Highly recommend.

Really great spot....use the Lyft Minnie to go to and fro

The building and all amenities are very nice. The decor seems very old fashioned, which is cool. It's like a time warp. The room is smaller than expected but, still very nice. The staff is also very accommodating, so much so that it can be a bit creepy. Like, why are you so freaking nice? All in all, great experience!

The resort is beautiful, and I love that it is on the boardwalk with access to nightlife, boat access to Hollywood Studios, and walk-in access to Epcot.

Parking sucks but is a nice place. I think it's messed up to pay thousands of dollars and they limited parking to force you to pay $25 a day for valet

Very lovely. Nautically themed with an upscale feel. Lack of quick service meal offerings and resort exclusive merchandise thay other Disney resorts offered. Location is fantastic if you prefer Epcot. Offers boat service to Epcot, the Boardwalk and Hollywood Studios. Short walk to Epcot entrance that puts you right at the World's Showcase.

We went to the Ale and Compass for lunch. We had a great time. The server was pleasant, but could have been more attentive.

Very nice atmosphere, easy to get to and from all the parks especially Epcot.

Great experience here. Rooms are freshly renovated at time of review and very nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. A lot of nice hotels on Disney Property but the location makes this a great pick.

Every cast member encounter we have had and every room we have stayed in at this place has been phenomenal. It's our favorite resort to stay in now!

Friendly staff for the most part but very unaccommodating. A lot of misinformation, no one seems to know about the rules which cost us a lot of wasted money.

We ate at Yachtsman Steakhouse. Food was great, well cooked. The mac and cheese steak side was amazing! Good service too. Would recommend.

Phenomenal, this location has some of the best atmosphere at Disney for a relaxing get away, while having plenty for kids to go nuts with. Yachtsman's steakhouse is exceptional, and by far THE BEST steak dinner I had at Disney World. DO NOT MISS THIS ONE.

Very nice hotel, but there are other hotels nearby which are equally nice, and offer far better value. For example, before staying at the Yacht Club for a wedding, we stayed at the Dolphin. It was right around the corner, just as nice, and much less expensive.

Love this hotel. So close to Disney's Broadwalk. Love the atmosphere here.

Comfortable rooms with super close proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios and convenient access to Skyliner routes from Epcot International Gateway to Riviera, Caribbean Beach, Hollywood Studios and Pop Century/Art of Animation.

Sand bottom pool with 2 slides (including The Flying Jib), several hot tubs, whirlpool, lazy river (5-8 ft) and a few sand areas for play.

Ale & Compass restaurant on site. Market has great food and drink options. Beaches and Cream table service (ask for Sheldon) and walk up ice cream window right next door at Beach Club. Short walk to Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin hotels for more food options!

Best stay so far by a mile!

Pool and amenities are great. Wish there were more options to get a quick bite to eat.

Excellent steak dinner and the drinks were delicious as well.

Rooms are great and clean. Customer service and holiday decorations were wonderful and the bus service to the park was on time and very convenient bellhops were charming and give away little freebies and the boat services at the dock out back has a stunning view at night great experience altogether!

If you're staying at the Yacht Club, Beach Club, Boardwalk, or SwanDolphin this is a great place to grab breakfast before hitting the parks. Buffet if you are super hungry and regular menu if not.

Beautiful resort with upgraded and pristine rooms that offer amazing water and woodland views, not to mention the most helpful and friendly staff! Located on the boardwalk with convenient walking distance to Epcot, including views of the fireworks show. The pools are the BEST with a sandy-bottomed pool and a lazy river. We would stay here every Disney visit!

I really enjoyed my food and Disney's Yachtsman Steakhouse. The fillet was delicious and the service - Darrel - was awesome!

Great family resort. Pools are excellent. Felt like yacht club more quiet than beach club, less little kids. Rooms have great ac. Right off board walk. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time if wanting restaurant options in hotel. Food good but very expensive.

Clean and nice atmosphere. Not many good choices. We had reservations for breakfast before we went to Hollywood Studios. They got us in on time and staff was friendly.

The location is great. The cost of staying at the hotel is not the price it worth. Service is excellent.

Beautiful resort. Very high class. Expert staff. Beyond wonderful!

A little New England hideaway in Disney World Orlando

We ate dinner at Captain's Grille. Food was good and reasonably priced for Disney. Only issue was saying they were 20 minutes behind on reservations but then there were plenty of empty tables when we got in. Around the Boardwalk is a great area. Fireworks from Epcot and Hollywood Studios both at 9 pm.

Everything is awesome here. The cleanliness, the staff, and the water park is amazing! I've never been in a pool that had same on the bottom (well, by design anyway). I'm definitely looking forward to going back!

This resort needs some updating. Out room had peeling wallpaper and a bathroom door that wouldn't close all the way. Otherwise, the room was great. The bed was comfy, shower had really good pressure, and the pool area was fabulous. My only other dislike was that the marketplace for food was all the way on the far end of the Beach Club section of the resort.

The location of the Yacht Club is perfect for people like my husband and I who love Epcot...it s only a 5 minute walk to England for our fish and chips!

It is awesome! Water slide is amazing and the staff is extremely attentive and friendly!

The food at Yachtsman Steakhouse was outstanding! I'm so grateful that they accept the Disney Dining Plan.

The least kitschy of the Disney hotels in this area. Most of them, boardwalk being the weirdest, are bizarre from an architectural standpoint - all kinds of strange ornamentation, etc. This hotel is at least a bit coherent.

I suggest to everybody who didn t seen Disney yet and didn t stayed in this resort, try it ones before you get too old,,,

Stayed here in 2013 and came back this year to the same great service. Clean rooms with an awesome view. Family focused, while still having fun stuff for adults as well.
