If you want to see real live animals, this is the place to be. Scenery is definitely phenomenal! Most of the rides are for kids though but as of this time some of the attractions and rides as well as some restaurants are closed.

Animal kingdom is a very interesting place. Most of it is very Lush and tropical. Which is a great thing on a hot sunny day. The wait in lines can be a little frustrating. So the app is great for tracking wait times.

The Safari was super cool! However, if you're in town for only a limited amount of days, I would choose a different park. The best part of Animal Kingdom was the "Avatar World". The simulation ride was well worth the three hour wait!

We love Animal Kingdom! Were skeptical at first as some friends have told us its like a weak zoo. But its so much more than that. We love the 2 amazing shows here- Finding Nemo & The Lion King!! We look forward to animal encounters on the special Safari ride and The Tree of Life. We also like the character encounters with characters from Up, Jungle Book and Jungle Minnie & Mickey! Definitely visit Animal Kingdom when at Disneyworld, worth the visit for sure!! We can't wait to check out Pandora when we return.

Avatar is an amazing ride the atmosphere is beautiful we spent a few hours waiting for this ride but it was well worth it and enjoyed are time here we will be back. Food was good could be better for the prices.

Great Place to see animals in settings that are "life like." More than a zoo, it offers a chance to see them & learn about them, in a wonderful Disney park. Very large area, lots of walking, & more restaurants (we love the Yak & Yeti - Pan Asian - wonder Gluten Free food) to choose from. The Tree of Life has carvings of various animals, intertwined & wrapped around it, the longer you look at it the more you see. Plan on a full day to see it all. Soon to be reached by the Sky Car network, you can now get there by auto, bus, or the water network that links Epcot to hotels & Animal Kingdom.

The newly added Pandora area is very popular. And Fast Pass is usually not available for the rides there. If you are here to see animals, you might be disappointed because this is not properly a zoo. But there are enough Disney shows to keep us excited.

I had so much at Disney Animal Kingdom. I took a trip there for my birthday. All the cast members there would say happy birthday to me because I had a birthday pin. It was such a warm feeling! The shows and attractions were great! Would definally go again!

My favorite Disney World park. Top notch service with quick moving lines for rides. Great views at Pandora. Expedition Everest is a must-ride. The Tree of Life will always remain an astonishing sight. And the animals are, of course, one of the best things about the park. Make sure to bring a camera, as this park will have plenty of moments you'd want to capture!

For children this can be an amazing place. There's a zoo, a safari ride, a rollercoaster... they've got an amazing Finding Nemo show. The kids playground really gives everyone a break and is huge. Some other rides are really fun as well. Avatar really brought some life to that park too. The ride is worth the wait. The tree of life is really beautiful and it's fun to look for all of the animals carved into it with the kids. I've never eaten there inside the park but the food smells amazing. But I have ate at The Rainforest Cafe which is at the entrance of the park and that's a neat experience. Our kids love it in there. A little pricey though as most things at Disney are.

For animal lovers and Avatars movie lover. Best advice for Avatars world book a fast pass or go very early. Wait varies from 1-2hrs.
Mountain Everest if you wanna save time do the single line, we waited 5min.

Animal kingdom is amazing place.
It s cool to see all the different animals and to watch her kid light up looking at the animals. The safari ride is definitely a must to see giraffes right next to you. The bird show was probably the neatest thing we got to see their. The birds flying in and out from the show was pretty amazing and watch them fly around the tree.

Loved it! Tree of Life! Is my favorite. The Safari is also a great ride. Didn't get to Avatar ride this go round (3-hour wait). Was disappointed because no photopass cast member was in Pandora. I really wanted my picture taken there at night. The background is awesome and pretty.

Love it! My family loves the Pandora experience. I'm more about the entire setup of the park. Amazing detail has gone into the different lands and it is amazing. Having traveled a tone Disney has nailed it here. The Safari is my favorite ride for a long day with Everest a great way to get your thrill on.

Such a great place for young kids! Went so see its bugs life which is scary for some kiddos. It gets dark and spidery. Loved the dance parties. So many people have the bubble makers so the kids had a blast with them. The dinosaur land was so great because we let them into the gated area and they could just stay there and run all around safely. Saw so many characters just walking around. We only stayed for three hours and did so much! Don't feel like u only have to do rides. The kids liked the drums just as much. And no wait!

Animal Kingdom is a must see park in Disney. Park is beautiful and full of attractions, for kids and adults. The safari was awesome, as well as the Everest ride. The night show could be improved a little bit. But it's worth it.

Personally, it was one of my favorite parks: their beautiful display of culture and animals were absolutely splendid. Each section had something to offer, from fun rides like Asia's Expedition Everest to educational wonders like Africa's Kilimanjaro Safari. The best part, however, would be Disney's splendid Pandora. Their floating mountains and Na'vi style outshines the rest of the park, especially at night where the planet's bioluminescence illuminates every corner. A wonderful and wild experience!

Really nice day with family. Couple of cleaning staff were yelling at each other causing some distraction while we were eating at the dole whip stand. Walked by them, the name plates said the were from Porto Rico. I guess that s the way they are. Traffic on the Disney expressway and I417 was dangerous as usual. Dino land was a waste of time. The animals on safari were amazing ! Mount Everest ride was great. Worth going. Be careful driving.

One of the largest of Disneys parks you need to plan for a full day here..plenty of places to eat..Ice Cream Vendors are a tad expensive here..the Country themes are fantastic its like crossing the border into another culture and of course being in Florida I had the Shrimp and Fried Chicken Combo..delish! now as for the animals..go on the Safari Ride its brilliant..enclosures all around.
Avatar is the big attraction so allow Q time.

It was my third time going to the animal kingdom and my family's first time going we had such a great time! My kids fell in love with the land of pandora. The only downside was the park closed late and half of the attractions in Africa closed by 5pm whats the point of keeping the park open late if half of the rides are going to close early.

Fun park with some great rides. But the best part is the animals! The Safari ride is incredible. If you have the opportunity to book a behind the scenes tour, do it! It's well worth it. Love the work Disney is doing for conservation. So much thought is put into everything Disney does.

I love Animal Kingdom, but don't rent a scooter while there! Due to blisters on my feet, I had to rent one for $70 while on a solo trip last week. It is VERY difficult to go into ride entrances on the scooter....especially Pandora. And they go slow! If you want to eat in the park, you MUST make a reservation online in advance.

This was first time in the park and I had a wild time. The cast members were friendly and volunteered to take our pictures. My daughter loves the smell of Africa as you cross the bridge. The African drummers and acrobats were amazing. Would have loved to see mire animals, but it was too cool for them.

Every Disney Park is worth visiting and awesome every where I see the Christmas spirit and the decorations.Tree of life is huge and beautiful. Pandora is the main reason for us to visit animal kingdom and it s really awesome. My 5 year old son enjoyed the ride on ikram so much he wanted to go again but the standby line is so huge we couldn t dare again to stand for one more hour.

We enjoyed Animal Kingdom but had trouble. Signage was not clear. Getting lost was easy. Trying to find the entrance to the Safari ride was a challenge! We heard that more rides are coming!!!

Animal Kingdom is such an unique and amazing theme park. I love how it is set out in the different continents and the animals aren't kept in tiny cages like some zoos. Avatar is spectacular and it is even more amazing at night when it is lit up. I recommend the safari ride which is informative and gets you up close to the animals.

Animal Kingdom has always been a great Park but continues to impress. The only problem were other customers trying to run in front of the line. We arrived at 7 a.m. just to enjoy Pandora One Time. The cast members tried their best but still people were pushing and shoving and doing everything they could to get in the front of the line. If you want to get on Pandora then you better get there early! Disney cast members and staff did their best to control the Mayhem.

This is a surprising Disney park. You don't realize what is there until you explore it. It seems like just a zoo but no, it is so much more. Lots of fun here. Look around, slow down, relax and enjoy. Much of it is not in the front so get in and look around. The scenery is awesome. Great rides, good food.

Great place to see the animals that are well taken care of. Still needs more attractions and rides. There is 6 main attraction rides. Needs more to distribute the people. But great place to hang out and see many different animals that you normally don't get to see.

I had a blast at this park with my girlfriend and I came into it thinking that this was only for kids. I was pleasantly surprised as I think I had more fun than my girlfriend did and it was her idea to come here. Check out these awesome pictures but you have to go there to experience it for yourself.

This is the most fun park for the little ones that don t get much the concept of Disney characters. The animals and the safari is always fun for everyone. There is an large are by Dinoland where the little one can play on the slides discovery Dino bones and blast the energy away while the parents relax watching them running around. The night closing show is a site to see if lights music and the wonder of nature projected on the water and boats a MUST see show in the end of the day. The tree of life comes to life on a small visual effect show is always a missed 3D show by tourists inside of the tree is a fun and entertaining to see. The Everest roller coaster is the most enjoyable and trilling if you are sitting on the first roll or the very last, just kind of annoy to see the amount of hairbands and junk that people throw at this ride.Disney need to do some clean up.
This is definitely a park for the little ones and the ones that like animals.

My family and I were just asked to leave Animal Kingdom park in Orlando, a Disney company because they did not like my USA Flag mask..security threatened me..for wearing a USA Flag face mask. After more than 10 years of being a loyal annual pass holder.

We are huge Disney fans so we love all the Disney World parks but I have a specific reason for liking each one! Animal Kingdom is incredible because it really has themeing that shines. You feel transported to new areas of the world while you are in the park! There is a lot to see and do. They have a safari, water rapids ride, child friendly rides, an awesome roller coaster and much more! We enjoyed Expedition Everest because it was thrilling and in a beautifully themed area! The mountain is incredible to see in person! We also loved the safari and went in the evening, finding this to be cooler than the hotter parts during the day. This park can get very hot in my opinion because I find it hard to find a ton of stuff to do indoors besides eat or shop. A few rides do have indoor queues but if possible I would come to this park on one of the cooler days during your trip. The evening shows are great and Pandora lights up at night which is awesome.

One of the better parks, so don't miss it. Must dos are the safari and the flight of Pandora. For the safari you board a truck and ride along dirt rides to see animals such as lions, wild dogs and elephants. Lines can be long for the flight ride so make sure to get a fast pass or hit it first thing in the morning. Also come back to Pandora once it gets dark, its amazing!

Probably our favorite park, we went for two days out of 5. Hard to do in one day as most of the time, this park closes earlier than the others. It's a nice break to stroll around and see animals and not to have to wait in line for rides all the time.

Low crowds. Safety measures are top notch. Characters still come out but on boats going around the park. Not everything is back open yet, but I still had a fun time when I was there. Most of the rides are back open, just the shows are not yet.

If you are a fan of greenery, animals, and fanciful sights then make way to the Animal Kingdom!

The park is divided up into roughly six areas being: Africa, Asia, Pandora (super Instaworth), Dinoland, Discovery Island, and Rafiki's Planet Watch (the latter three are super kiddo friendly).

It's definitely one of my favorites because it has the classic Expedition Everest ride (a must if you have not done it before) and Pandora inspired from Avatar featuring the 'floating rocks' and Avatar Flight of Passage ride. For this, definitely use your Fast Pass+ to secure a ride because it can take an hour or two waiting in the regular line and no one has time for that.

The Kilimanjaro Safari is a good one to take a group on to see some wildlife and is really the heart of what this place is about--environmental conservation, circle of life, and respect for our Earth.

Overall, this particular park is really about the sights and nature and is a good addition to the Disney empire.

Excitement is in the air with the animals here at kingdom animale in beautiful lake buena vista florida folks. They have lush scenery, many attraction and ride to see. I like the yeti. The area where you become the avatar is also very charming and I liked the transformation.

My first visit to the Animal Kingdom was certainly one I won t be soon to forget. We bypassed the three hour long wait for Avatar: Flight of Passage and spent our time waiting in other ride lines refreshing the app, hoping to get a fast pass. Sure enough, boom! We were on! We got to ride it several times (even back to back) using this little trick. It takes some patience and is a bit of a risk but it paid off big time for us. Pandora is absolutely stunning, especially at night. Very well done indeed! We also loved the monkey exhibit, watching the cute little nuggets swing around and play with one another. We found excellent dining options in Asia and found ourselves well-fed and feeling great throughout the day. We really enjoyed Expedition Everest and the Rivers of Light water/light show. They also had the best, most immersive bars and beverages throughout the park making this a really enjoyable adult adventure! Can t say enough great things about this park!

It feels like you are at a zoo in some of the park because you can see real monkeys playing. The shows are great! The character meal at Tusker's is worth every penny because it's a buffet and the character interaction is awesome.

Been coming here for the last 18 yrs. and seen a lot of changes. Also noticed the crowds are getting larger all year round. Pandora spectacular job from imagenginers. The color, lighting and use of area is unbelievable. Technology has come a long way and Disney's use of it and pushing it to the limit, means a wonderful and enjoyable time for us, the guest. Disney keeps advancing forward and yet still holds on to it's values and standards. Animal Kingdom celebrating 20 years anniversary and I'm glad to have been there almost from beginning. Still like, even get fast-passes for, Kilimanjaro Safaris. We love to see the animals. This ride provides it in a almost wild setting at which all kids young and old enjoy. The walking treks also add a different experience every time you never know what kind of animals you'll see or when you'll see them. Conservation station is another must do. To get to see the cast members working on and with the animals is always a learning experience. Its just a short train ride away. Expedition Everest another Fast-pass choice. It has become another favorite. Kali river rapids save this one for those hot days you will get wet. No maybe about it. Tree of life awakening show fairly new is a good short show. Plays very 10 min. for about 2hrs. So if you miss one just wait another will show. Lion king and Nemo shows the family love them both of them. This is the largest park of the four, but, it feels small and the memories are many. Can't wait to go back again. Sorry I did not mention all the rides felt like I was starting to ramble.

I love this place! Great for the family! Or for a couple looking to have a awesome time!! Chill drinks! Food is awesome compared to other parks! You gotta have the Korean Bbq tips! And mixed rice! Yummm! ! Rides are all fun! And what else can I say! Get ready to take a lot of pictures and dont miss out on all the beautiful animals! Keep Rocking!

Animal Kingdom is a fun park to walk around and explore, not really for the rides but fit the scenery. Problem is everytime I go it seemed to rain but aside from that checking out places is nice. The Pandora area is well themed I love the gift shop and food.

I love coming back here now that I am a local just to look around and walk to see the animals.

This is my favorite park. Very laid back and super friendly Cast Members. Love the Pandora section. If you go, you definitely want to see this at night. All the areas have black lights and the place glows! They do pics in front of one of the waterfalls, and it glows also. Love the Rainforest Cafe, just inside the entrance. Our family eats there every time we go to this park. Lots of shows, for plenty of sit-down time.

This our second visit to Disney World. Our last trip was was in August about four years ago. The weather is much more tolerable this time if year. We began our Disney vacation at the Animal Kingdom. There was a little rain but not enough to ruin our enjoyment. We were able to get on all our favorite rides to include both of the Avitar rides. We also enjoyed Dole Whips, something that we usually get at Disneyland or the Dole Plantation in Hawaii.

Everyone should visit at least once, grate place to visit, it has something for everyone from rides, to seeing characters and the food is always getting better. They definitely always try to improve on the experience, that's why I keep coming back.

I don't give it five stars, because it is always too crowded, and it keeps getting worse as time passes by. There is no low season in Disney. Long wait times in every ride or attraction even if you have fast pases, there is no escaping the wait.

We enjoyed the safari at night the best. You can go in the day but at night you get to see the lion and lioness who mostly sleep during the hottest part of the day - so we were fortunate to see them out just lounging and the giraffes plus some wildebeest. Pretty cool. It's just rainy season and very humid. Make sure to be prepared for a torrential downpour at any moment. The lion king show was really colorful and well put together. It can be a full day or just a few hours to get a taste or what it's like. You'll find something you enjoy.

Animal Kingdom has added some great rides in Pandora. The Avatar ride was the best! I still live "A Bugs Life" nothing has changed and that's great! We arrived Saturday at 9:30 and some of the staff already seemed irritated and short as we boarded the tram. Our driver on the Safari ride was totally monotone. They rides had incredible long lines but it did not seem that crowded. Idk if they were understaffed or what but lots of rides were over 120 minute wait times. Our next day at Disney is Monday at Magic kingdom. Hopefully it will be better. We normally feel like it is "the happiest place on Earth"

One if our favourite parks! From Pandora Land to Exhibition Everest, it was a fantastic day, we ate in Pandora Land & the food was delicious, at night the show & fireworks on the water was stunning to a quite remarkable day! We can't wait to return!

Loved it! Highlights being Expedition Everest and DINOSAUR. I found Pandora to be extremely impressive however, I think Flights of Passage is extremely overrated. I was a little let down after hearing the hype about this attraction. It's great, but not as amazing as what I'd hoped for. Loved the Kilimanjaro Safari! Very informative and interesting! The food at Yak 'n Yeti is my favorite! The honey chicken is delicious! The entertainment is world class. We loved the Nemo Musical, Up! and also the Lion King Sing A Long. This WDW park is one of my favorites. We had a fantastic day here and would definitely like to return in the future.

Loved the park! Recommend almost all rides! I didn't manage to eat on all rides but the avatar, primordial whirl etc. Are all great and fun. Unexpected and a wide variety of rides keeps it fresh and exciting. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here!

Expedition Everest is a lot of fun. Flights of Passage is arguably the best ride in any Disney park. Finding Nemo show is incredible - Broadway quality. Lion King is a great show for kids. The Bug's Life "experience" on the other hand makes a lot of kids cry. I sit away from the seat back as one of the effects hurts my back. The Safari is a rough ride sometimes but worth it. Go at different times of the day if you can to see more animals.

Loved so much about this place! The Avatar "Right of Passage" ride is by far the best and a must see/do.... Go there first as lines can get long later. I could have done that ride a second or third time in a row... Definitely my favorite there. You feel like you're actually riding a Banshee!!! Where your legs are placed in the seated device you sit in breathes in and out like the ribs and lungs of your personal connected Banshee breathing during the ride. You leanb in and move as the Banshee moves. You really feel connected to it and the visuals are just so amazing!!!! I'm going to have to do this again and again each time I'm at Disney World!!! One of my favorite rides/experiences ever in Disney or any theme park or ride park etc. Highly recommend!!!

I love this park. The decor is always imaginative and fun. The food is great, wherever you eat. The rides are fun and pretty mixed for different tastes. It's really two different parks, with Future World up front and World Showcase in the back. There's so much to do, you should definitely plan for two days, especially if it's your first time or it's the busy season.

The best park at Walt Disney world. All sorts of animals to see and be taught about. There are also safaris and petting zoos. The rides and different lands you can visit are incredibly well detailed, especially if you ride on Expedition Everest and Kali river rapids, or visit pandora, world of avatar. Speaking of avatar, the flight of passage ride is absolutely breathtaking and a must do. At the park, you can also find a lot of tribal performers all around which you can join in on sometimes and also watch their impressive Stunts. Please make sure you can find time to do this amazing park, it'll be worth it.

This is by far the best disney park overall! The new pandora is amazing at night and both the rides are really fun, there not thrill rides at all, the yetti ride will give you thrill. But from the moment you arrive to this park it feels like your in a jungle... even the tram crew is funnier when they drive you in from your car. The dino land is awesome, the safari ride is amazing. We have 5 kids who's age range from 7 to 14 and they all agree this is their fav park.

Out of all the parks this was one of my favorites! Shows were amazing! We loved the Safari and animals all throughout park. My 8 year old loved earning the Wilderness Explorer badges throughout the park also. Flights to Passage is has also got to be one of the best rides out there!

The park is awesome. Disney is just not good at managing so many people. The incoherently roaming people are exhausting. Also, I get searched to get on the monorail, searched to enter the park, and searched every time I enter a new park. Disney could take a lesson from the TSA Clear and preapproval programs. Also, the Fast Pass system is worthless unless you plan your trip months in advance. Animal Kingdom is beautiful. The Safari attraction was very cool.

Here to write this review because we had the coolest experience with Mark, a security guard in the dinosaur area. We had a crying baby in the group so some of us began having a dance party to try to cheer her up, Mark saw the incident and walked right over and started dancing with us! It made our DAY!!! If his supervisor sees this, promote him, give him a raise, give him a bonus, please. Whoever reads reviews, please find his supervisor and read them this. He needs to be valued! Contact me if you want the video, it s hilarious. That man made our day! Lol
