Terrible customer service, the website is not good...

Terrible customer service, the website is not good either. I've tried to submit a reimbursement through them several times and the website keeps locking up.

These guys are a total scam. They take your money and then decide what they will pay you back for. They deny claims for vague reasons and make you spend hours of calls and online visits in hopes that you will just give up and after that 1 year time limit guess what they get the money unclaimed in your account. SCAM

Get different answers from different people on the same question. Submitted the the same bill 3 times without changing anything, first 2 denied and the 3rd they paid. Won't be a member anymore.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced !!! WE keep sending all the information they request, they confirm receipt then request THEN REQUEST IT AGAIN SIX MONETHS LATER!!!!! Spoke to Supervisor named Mike, id 7249 and he was nothing but SMUGE RUDE AND TOTALLY REFUSED TO TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY!!!!!!K I've had enough of these people!!! next stop Wisconsin Dept. of Insurance services!!!!

They LOCK access to your FSA card (money from your own paychecks, mind you) if they deny a single claim. I've been actively trying to reconcile a claim for 6 months now (have submitted 6 variations of receipts to try to meet their inconsistent requirements) and they have the most useless customer service staff who cannot help with anything. They make it sound like locking the card is in line with IRS policy, but it's NOT. The people running DB are PIGS who restrict access to healthcare dollars in the midst of a pandemic. Good for you DB, sleep well tonight.

They ask you to submit forms with your email address via email and that's against security best practices. Their staff doesn't seem to know how to do the most basic things. I've been trying for over two weeks to get my HSA funds transferred. They have lost my forms and they continually request me to submit it again. When I did, they said it would take a day for them to be able to verify it. A day? They have no options to transfer funds out of the HSA via ACH. They can only mail a physical check (perhaps required by regulation).

I asked if I could submit a complaint about how poorly my case was handled and they said they only took feedback via physical mail.

I wouldn't recommend this company. They seem to be struggling with modernizing and their customer service is pretty awful.

Honestly, I've worked with this company as both an employee of the company and helping my dad with his account.
This company is kind to its workforce, supportive and lovely to work for. The system can be difficult to navigate for participants as the IRS regulations regarding pre-tax benefits and the amount of training and support they give you their employees to assist the participants is crazy.

The website could use some work from the participant side which is why it's not 5 stars.

Have mercy, Discovery. . . 35 minutes waiting for a representative, only to be disconnected by your system! I'm waiting on my 2nd call right now. . .39 minutes. Yes, your staff is friendly and helpful, but only when I can get through to them. Help!

I tried calling on and off for hours today including a continuous call for an hour and 7 minutes this last time and it still kept ringing. I tried the chat feature and that isn't working today and despite resetting the password, there is an issue logging in. I really just would like to figure this out because the last time I mailed anything, it took 6 weeks to process.

This company does everything it can to screw employees over from using their pretax dollars. Employers reap the benefit of employees' unused dollars, so ask yourself, who is discovery benefits actually helping?

Incredibly hard to use. I ve never had a more difficult time trying to spend MY OWN money.

If I didn t already have my own money tied up in this I would never use them again.

I m not funding my HSA anymore - the hoops Discovery makes you jump through are just not worth the tax advantaged savings.
