Long waits, wouldn't fix my tire leak because it had already been fixed once... frustrating!

10 percent lower price on my bfg all terrain TAs. Here 11-27-17 and they are backed up for 8 hours. Not their fault, just heads up.

Yeah, they're the best. And deserve the recognition. A gentleman named RJ took care of me and my car and was mindful of me being newer. He was extremely helpful while even multitasking other responsibilities within the workplace. This is the type of customer service Ann Arbor is about and it really helps our community especially during these times. Thanks Guys!

It is an ok place if you have unlimited amount of time to sit around. No appointments are made for extended period of time.

We bought new tires from them and they were able to five us a very good deal by offering us rrasonable rebates about it.

Jackson Rd store has honest, thoughtful sales staff. I usually don't say that about sales people, but most of these guys have children and know when it's a waste of money and when it's time to keep your family safe and buy new tires. I actually feel good buying from these guys.

Wonderful service, friendly staff. They have great precautions in place for COVID-19. Thankfully it's a beautiful Michigan summer day, and they put their indoor chairs outside in front of tree for shade. It's well thought out, and you can tell that they really care about their customers. I brought my car in for a free tire rotation and balance, but if I ever needed service in the future, this is where I'd go.

Great service. I was in and out in less than 40 mins without an appointment.

Had an road hazard issue with my tire. Took it in to the discount tire for rework. They ordered the tire got us in in a timely mannor but scratched my rim up very bad. I brought it to the attention of the manager and of course I was wrong there was no way our machines could have scratched a rim as they are touchless machines. I told him I would bring it up to him to show him. A few days later I brought it in and the manager was not avail. RJ came out and took a look and agreed that the damage was done at the time of tire replacement. RJ was polite and offered to replace the rim. RJ is the only reason they got the second star. The manager lied to me when he told me they have a touchless system and for that I will not be back. I declined the replacement and told them I will not be returning. Buyer beware check your parts before you leave. Caution yourself when a business says "discount" in the name you might not be getting the discounted results you want.

Bought some new tires here and had them installed. I was impressed by this Discount Tire location. The employees were friendly and listened to my requests on how I wanted the tires installed. I had scheduled an appointment ahead of time and everything was finished in an hour.

Just needed to borrow a screwdriver to change a license plate... I mean, don't go here and do this, I'm just weird. They were however accommodating to my odd request haha

I had leak issues with a tire I bought from them that would be covered by their protection package. I know it is peak season, and I expect delays, but what I experienced here takes delay to a whole new level. I called to see if I could get my car in and immediately was put into a hold system. After sitting on hold for over 10 minutes, I decided to drive over as I live relatively close by. I put the phone on speaker and set it in my cup holder and headed out. I was able to drive there and wait in line to talk to someone while still on hold, now having been on hold for north of 20 minutes. I then dealt with a very rude representative who could not have cared less about all that. I was told that it was peak season and to expect it, as if not even bothering to answer phones is no big deal.

I left my car there for service with the agreement that they would call or text me when it was done. That call or text never came. I tried calling that evening to see if my car was done and they again did not answer the phone. I was on hold for nearly 20 minutes again, no answer, and then they closed. Fortunately I didn't need the vehicle thar evening, so I waited until the following morning to call again. After being on hold for 10 minutes, apparently being hung up on, and then being on hold for another 10+ minutes, I then finally got someone to answer who sounded just as irritable and non-caring as the person I talked to the day before. They told me my car was done, while carrying on with other employees and customers without paying any real attention to me, and promptly hung up. When I picked my car up no explanation was offered for why I did not receive a call or text and I again got the same irritable customer service I'd received throughout the whole process.

I could have chalked it up to a bad day if it happened just once but it was literally every interaction through the whole multiple day experience. Every time without fail I had absurdly long hold times and irritable customer service if they even answered the phone.

Just to satisfy curiosity, I called other Discount Tire locations in the area. Each time, the phone was answed in under a minute by people who were actually pleasant to talk to. Given that, I don't think I will be patronizing this location ever again. If the calling the other locations had not gone down like it did, I would be disavowing the company as a whole.

They're really nice here. They want to make sure they do a good job. When I wanted snow tires installed, they took me when no one else in the area would. They are required to accept walk ins which differentiates them from most. And they got the job done right before close!

McQueen facility, really friendly staff, and spot on for the finished work. I will definitely be back for my next set of tires!

I just moved from Texas to MI. The low pressure lights up and I went to this store and showed them my receipt from an Austin discount store. They found their is a screw ang stamp is broken. 45min

I am not going back. I've used discount tire for many years, tolerated the cattle herding and long waits that really arent acceptable. I was there in april with a bubble in my tire. They started the spell on how my tires needed replacement, yada yada. Had this situation there before, when they refuse to fix just one tire.

HOWEVER, when the confirmed after not believing me, that my tires were only halfway through the 55k warranty, placed there less than 2 years prior, all the sudden it gets quiet and my one tire gets fixed. Never telling me exactly what my warranty was until I called a few weeks later. Its SHADY.

It's great they started to do appointments. During both a phone call, and later walking in, that wasnt mentioned. What was said, is my wait would be an hour and there were three people ahead of me. 1 1/2 hours later, theres still 2 people ahead. Many people had come and gone. Turns out, they dont count all the appts that interrupt your wait time in the time estimate. So when I left, was still 2 people back.

Its not good business. It's useless to have a warranty, but have to wait 3 hours to get a nail pop fixed. It's not good business to be dishonest when evaluating times. Belle is much more efficient.

We are always treated efficently and in a timely manner when. We go to discount tire we also like that stand behind their profucts

Good service, patched my cars tire two years ago and it still holds. Gave them my business for another 4 tire replacement.

I recently went to Discount Tire to purchase 2 Goodyear OEM tires for my Explorer. After pulling my vehicle in, a few minutes of inactivity followed, then Kevin the manager approached me and told me that there was a problem. The tires that had been delivered to him for me were the wrong size, so he could not proceed with the original plan. My initial thought was that I would have to reschedule the appointment for another day, an inconvenience. He then told me that this was no fault of mine and that it was important to him to retain my trust in them as being customer-oriented. He proceeded to make the following incredible offer he would install 4 premium tires for the same price as the 2 Goodyears l originally requested. My lucky day? Absolutely, and I accepted in a heartbeat! To me this was a tangible display of how Discount Tire far exceeds the expectations of its customers. I have been buying tires from them for many years, and this is another great example of why I keep coming back. Keep up the good work, Kevin.

Had a blown tire on the highway and they got my truck in the same day and stayed late to make sure I got back on the road. Thank you Discount Tire! You made a bad day manageable.

Friendly and informative. Not like regular tire shops who push customers. They let customers decide.

This place is WONDERFUL and Alex is an incredibly helpful, kind, and accommodating guy. I needed new tires (at the end of the business day, no less) and he sold me tires and fit me in even though I was only a few minutes before closing. I highly recommend this business. Tires are expensive (everywhere) but Alex made it a slightly less painful experience. Thank you so much!

Top service during the virus time period. They fixed a nail in my tire at no charge. Practicing safe distance, they even put chairs outside if you prefer not to go inside the store. Highly recommend.

Quoted hour to get to vehicle ended up closer to 2.5 hours, some coming in adter me without appointment going before me.

Best place around to get new tires or have your tire maintenance done. Best prices I found after calling multiple places. Sometimes the wait can be long but I won't let anyone else touch my truck.

It was time for new tires. Made the purchase and set up an appointment for installation. Installation day came and there was a scheduling mix-up that caused some slight delay.
Tom (13yrs with Discount Tire) got us taken care of very quickly despite the mix up and we got out of there in under an hour. Thank you Tom for making things right and getting us out of there in a hurry!

Wow! I had a tire that kept losing pressure, and I drove into Discount Tire and they repaired it ( including showing me the drywall screw that had been the culprit!) in short order, and didn't charge me a thing! They were polite, friendly, and knowledgeable, and I was happy that I chose them to help me out!

Went in to this Discount Tire today to have a tire that I purchased online put on to replace the one that had gotten a nail in it. Come to find out, the tire that I purchased online had a previous repair that wasn't done to code- rendering the tire essentially useless. They put my spare back on and I headed home, only to get a call from Tom that they would be able to repair the original tire with the nail in it, free of charge! even after the people at Firestone said the tire was unable to be repaired. Saved me money and more importantly I know the repair is done right and that this shop can certainly be trusted to be honest. Thank you so much, Tom!

The guys at the Jackson Rd location are beyond amazing! They are so honest, reliable and quick! I cant imagine going anywhere else when I am in need of tires. Having to unexpectly get a new tire or set is never a fun or easy process but Kevin, Rich and the rest of the team at Discount Tire made it less painful! Thank you for all you guys do!

Been going to this and the previous location for years. The service use to be top notch, but they have gone downhill recently. Poor communication, not timely with appointments or orders, priority seems to be sales not retention. Latest is I'm waiting five days for a tire replacement on road hazard program. They've lost a loyal customer.

I've bought many sets of tires here. I set an appointment and prepaid for $800 worth of tires. Showed up at 9am. I'm still here at 11:20 and they havent even pulled the car in yet. All the while I'm listening to them tell people on the phone "if you have an appointment we will get you out in an hour". Screwed up my whole day.

Really great place to get tires from. Have been here for two sets of tires and never have I ever had an issue. The gentlemen that I have always had assist me have been extremely professional. I recently got a screw in my tire which I bought the protection plan, which was inexpensive, and they fix the tire in 20mins. Really nice kind caring folks there. Highly recommend this shop for their top quality services that I have always received.

The folks there are very attentive and helpful. I blew a non-Discount Tire tire last week, and needed a replacement. I was out before I finished my (free) coffee.

My husband came in for a flat tire. They didn t have any space to change it that day but they kept the tire to repair and told us to call the next day to see if they could fit us in. We mostly spoke with Brian, who was fantastic! The next day, I called to see if there was any time I could bring the truck. Brian said to be there close to 4. I pulled in at 10 til 4, one of the mechanics immediately came up and told me to pull into the bay. He already knew who I was and as soon as I pulled in, he rolled the tire over and started changing it. In and out in 5 minutes, it was incredible! Very knowledgeable, friendly and expedient staff and will be returning here in the future!

20 bucks to replace a tire that was already off of the car. They finished my tire and didn't let me know, the salesperson Kevin W Ehmann that helped me disappeared. I sat there for 45 minutes after the tire was done, didn't make any kind of effort to compensate for my time that was wasted, mind you I was on my way home on a 7 hour trip which the guy was aware of being that I was from out of town. No discount, no " we'll give you a break on the ridiculous price we're already charging you for a 10 minute job that held you up for an hour", no "next time you come in we'll give you a break", nothing. Never going back to any discount tire, Wal-Mart is cheaper for a better product and service.

My experience was so good I'm actually writing a google review about it. I've never dealt with a more friendly and professional staff at an auto service place. I called ahead, they gave me a quote no problem and said they would squeeze me in before close. Even though they were very busy they took their time when they got to me and gave me a few options to choose from with tires. Didn't try to sell me much and were totally fine with my decision to only get 2 tires instead of 4. After that, they were fast and when I rolled out they made sure everything looked good while driving too. I'll definitely go back.

I pulled up as a walk in at 11 with a need to be out of there by 130. After it became obvious that it wasn't going to happen, I asked if there was anything they could do to expedite my car and was happily surprised that they accommodated! I would have been okay waiting if I didn't have to leave at that time. Since I was a walk in, and had only waited for 2.5 hours, I was impressed. The customer service was above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely be back to this location for my future tire needs.

I have never been disappointed with any of my experiences at Discount Tire, and I've been to many locations! However, this team seems to be the best I have experienced. I was helped by Cindy and Tom and they were awesome. Everyone is always so kind and knowledgeable and I never feel like I am being "up sold" but trust their recommendations completely. The warranty program has been a lifesaver for me on these rough roads and they are always able to get me in and out in such a reasonable amount of time. I never have good experiences when it comes to maintaining my car, except when it comes to my tires! I will be a life long customer! I highly recommend buying all of your tires from Discount and enrolling in the warranty program. A++++

Felt they took advantage of my 20 year old daughter. Had a slow leak in a tire that was 6 months old, bought from them. They said they found nothing wrong with the tire so they sold her a mag wheel that does not match and looks ghetto on the car. Within a week she noticed again the tire was low. Intimidated by her last experience she kept adding air until yesterday it was flat. I took it in to get resolved, but not until a lot of loud complaining and some cost they replaced the tire, starting it now had "Run flat issues". If they would had fixed the tire to begin with rather than selling her a wheel she didn't need there would had no issue. Regardless, this was my last experience with Discount tire. This sight would not allow me to give zero stars, so I gave one that it does not deserve.

Just got new tires today, everyone was very nice and professional, even with setbacks from covid they were still incredibly quick and courteous. They basically matched the price I found online and I got a good warranty as well. I hope I don't need tires for a long time but when I do this is a great place to go to.
