Very good brisket and an awesome vibe. Cover band was great. The ribs were below average, but overall would definitely go again. I'd love to see Dinosaur Jr. perform there!

Dear lord! So good. I was happy they expanded to other cities. They are incredible, and every time I try something different on the menu it's been great.

The greatest Barque place in the world...second to none! Kalissa was so helpful and gave excellent customer service! God bless them!

So it was okay BBQ but just not sure it lived up to the hype or the praise I heard about it ahead of going. Granted, been to Hard 8 in Dallas so maybe I'm spoiled...

This place has great food! I ve only been upstairs so far for a wedding reception but it was very nice and rustic! The service was really good no one was rude about serving you or cleaning up after you. Had both bbq pork and chicken! Personally liked the chicken more but both were great! The Mac and cheese is unique as well! Great food and great venue!

Ordered the Ribs and Brisket combo. Ribs were not fall off the bone. Brisket was good. Busy night waited over an hr for a table,but Great Band . Was worth the wait. I had better ribs and Brisket but enjoyed the atmosphere, would go back again.

Good food, great beer, awesome service! This place is pretty busy, but it's an awesome atmosphere.

Delicious smoked brisket and wings were my favorite. They don't need extra sauce but if you looking for extra bite then they are perfect.

Wow! You gotta eat Dino. BBQ! I crave this all the time! Now that I ve moved always I can t eat it much but when I go back home I always make a stop. The wings and brisket are my favorite. But everything is good. When I think of Cuse I think of Dinosaur BBQ

Mmm.. I d give a better review, but can t go in. Stuck on waiting list... They say 30-45 mins, but after 2 hours I just can t... I have eaten it before eh.

Great service as usual at my most favorite BBQ place. Out of all the BBQ joints I have traveled to around the country Dinosaur BBQ is always consistent and never disappoints. The bar tender at noon today was a rockstar, keep up the great work!

For being super busy after just re-opening to accommodate social distancing still, we got a table right away, service was still great, and food amazing. They also were soooo nice to accommodate our doggy no problem! And even gave her a bowl of water before even asking us what we want to drink which I loved! Great night!

Honestly, the best BBQ I've ever had. If you like meat, this is the place to go. Great corn bread, great ribs, lots of meat on my enchiladas, and good service. Only knock on it is it was packed but can't knock them for that.

Food is amazing. Had the blues burger and was top notch. Wait took a little long but expected at lunch time

It's a place I don't get to go to often, but I was really appreciative of the staff courtesy and great meals offered for lunch. I thought it was all the heavy food. But, the salad was awesome with 3 chicken wings on the side. Definitely will be going back

Consistently amazing barbeque with adequate but not outlandish portions. Ribs, chicken, and brisquite are well paired with coleslaw and greens. Skip the beans, they're oddly sweet and often par-cooked. PLEASE bring back the pork-squite sandwich and put it on a long roll (yup, I'm the guy who ALWAYS asked for that change)!

This place is decent, it's NOT the best BBQ in the area; although it isn't bad. Everything tastes a bit too salty to me. The thing this place does have is a nice venue on the river. That's the main reason I go back.

This place ain't messing around. I wasn't expecting much from a bbq joint in upstate NY, but after the first bite of their pork ribs my expectations were already left way behind. Not only do they do bbq right, all their side dishes are just as delicious. To top it off, the cheesecake was also fantastic. There was absolutely nothing I didn't like about this place

I always enjoy the food at Dinosaur. Best bbq brisket i have ever had.

If you haven't, you must!!! The brisket is cooked to perfection. The portions are large the staff is kind and personable. It may look packed but there is so much seating the wait is usually only 10 to 15mins. If you are in the area come hungry!!!

I am not a meat eater usually. This place changed my mind. Best damn bbq that I ever had in my life. I am fan. The servers were sweet and attentive.

Iconic. That's the word that comes to mind when trying to describe this Syracuse-born establishment. The original Dinosaur Barbeque is just what you'd expect. Busy, loud at times, and hard to find parking. But the food and service make up for all of that ten-fold. The staff is friendly, and the food is even better. While it isn't the cheapest place, the price you pay is worth the quality. No visit to Syracuse is complete without a visit to Dinosaur Barbeque.

One of the best BBQ joints in the country. I try to stop there every time I'm in the area. Call ahead- always a good crowd. Very popular with Syracuse University students. Fun place.

Solo visitor passing through Syracuse, so I sat at the bar and was offered a menu immediately. I got the solo size Sampler, and everything in it was amazing. Followed that with the combo ribs and brisket with collard greens and mash. The gravy with the mash was awesome, and the ribs were decent but not falling off the bone best I've ever had. All was chock full of delicious smoked flavor though. Finding parking was the biggest con to going here.

The trios was great! beer was good including the selection, and the seating was slower than great. 5 stars because the food came out super quick, was delicious, and they treated us great once seated.

Not gonna lie, I think this may be my Graceland. If you're into great food, big portions and a lively eclectic atmosphere then you'll love this place. We deliberately detoured on our way home from DC just so we could eat here. I had high expectations going in and I was not disappointed in the slightest. I've eaten at some of the best BBQ joints in the Carolinas and this place was F'ing amazing! I live 3.5hrs away and already planing another visit. Apparently there is one in Buffalo? May need to try that one too.

Food is good as well as the service. It's an older place that once had a reputation as a biker bar. Now they have the best barbecue in upstate New York.

Absolutely love the food here. The wings especially are my fave. Most times I've been the crowd has been immense, so I'd say count on waiting at least 20 minutes if you're stopping in, but damn it's worth the wait!

I was sure gonna my in this place I would enjoy it but I didn t expect to love it. I will have to work my cheat meals around this place. It has a lot to offer to include its own beer along with a number of other drinks. It is readably price, maybe a dollop more on some plates but the quality is unmatched. So good. I sat at the bar and started up conversation with the bartender as well as others eating beside me. Stayed longer then expected.

What more can you say about this place? The food is great the atmosphere is unique. It's great barbecue, noisy bar, fun place to go even if you're not a biker. Despite supposedly becoming a franchise, you'd never know it when you visit.

Barbecue pork sandwich was good, sauce was great, pork was tasty but slightly dry. Inside dining was a nice surprise.

I've been here probably a dozen or so times, and every one of them the food has been amazing. The last 2 times I got vegetarians to come and they also loved everything they ate. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Best Barbecue Chicken in the world. Only complaint is that they do not have enough seating arrangements for the amount of people who go in and out of there.

We got take out. Food was pretty good. If you want friendly service, go elsewhere.

If you like the weekend biker gimmick then this is your place. Worst bar-b-que I've ever had in any state. Mac and cheese is velveeta shells and cheese. If there was an option for negative stars this would be my negative star review. Just go to McDonald's.

What can I say it was fast and Speedy service. Food was excellent if they have the Fried Chicken you must try it. Coming here alone was no issue everyone was very polite and easy to chat with.

Cajun devilled eggs and fried green tomatoes, perfect appetizers! Then a main dish of brisquet, ribs and drunken shrimp (a cold peel yourself cajun shrimp cocktail). Excellent across the board, the food never fails to satisfy. If you've never been...you're missing out.

High energy restaurant with very lovely waitress staff. Food is good and endless beer selection including some in-house brews. They have live music some evenings during the week. Definitely worth trying!

Great Texas style barbecue in upstate New York with a large craft beer selection to complement any meal. The sides are spot on and the lively atmosphere and music completes the feeling of being in a real roadhouse somewhere in central Texas.

I was always being recommended to go to Dinosaur Bar-B-Que from friends and family of mine since I travel all over the United States trying different bbq s This place is a must stop if your ever in the area! It was clean and the atmosphere was awesome! This was an awesome experience! I wish I had one of these closer to home in Kansas.

I've been a Syracuse local for most of my life and I've never been here. Yesterday I broke that and I went and I've never had a finer meal.

I love spice, and I love BBQ. The devil's duel there is strong as hell but rewarding when you can choke it down.

Burgers and brisket are fantastic. They melt in your mouth and the fries and all the sides are cooked perfect.

I went to Dino BBQ Today and I got Sarah as a waitress and she was rude and disrespectful to me. I went there last Wednesday and I had a waitress called Brandi and she was a wonderful waitress for me. She deserves more recognition and a raise and not bad workers.
