A great coffee place atmosphere where it is quite European style decor. The coffee it self is nice but the great downtown vibe is the one to die for. If you are planning on studying, I would recommend to bring a headphone and get there as early as possible because it does get crowded quite fast as it is a popular coffee shop and the location around the area is always packed

This place is fabulous! My friend and I got two cappuccinos, a muffin and a scone and they were absolutely delicious! Very reasonable prices, the service was lovely and the ambiance is top notch. I will most definitely be coming back here on my next trip to Toronto.

I love just about everything about this place: ambiance, classy and beautiful decor, good coffee and snacks, great service and adequate seating.

The only mildly bothersome thing is its location. Yonge St., while famous, is a bit run down; there's a distinct difference in vibe once you step out onto Yonge.

Regardless, highly recommended, great for solo and couples, not recommended for groups.

Excellent vibes and great coffee. Beautiful blend of heritage and modern furniture and lighting. Very comfy and cosy space. Came at 9:30am on a Sunday and the place was moderately busy, but quiet and comfortable.

Banana chocolate muffin was fantastic, pretty good blueberry scone, and their latte was beautiful and light, with great coffee flavour.

Definitely recommend.

One of the best coffee shops in Toronto. This place is packed at all times of the day, making it difficult to find a place to sit in the cold months. But if you do, you'll find that their coffee and beverages are well-made and the ambiance of the place is great for either work, or catch-up with friends, or if you're just looking to enjoy a cup of good coffee.

Dineen's deserves 5 stars for its espresso, customer service, gorgeous setting and barista attire, but 1 star for the design of its cream and sugar station. It is laid out so awkwardly that you will tear through as many scuse-me-sorries as sugar packets.

A busy place for a coffee, to order and to find a seat. However, it is worthy the wait. Enjoying your java and a pastry in such a classic building is a delight.
Prices are within range of a cup of coffee in the area.
Even though I like this location, I have moved to the one at Commerce Court which is a totally different concept.

Loved their coffee. Ordered a hazlenut latte and was not disappointed. They have options to sub for almond milk. Went there for a Quick meetup and the place was packed! Hard to find a place to sit but to our surprise, it wasn't too long of a wait. Would definitely go there again to try other things on their menu

I had a fantastic tasting vanilla cappuccino, took a bit of time to make it but well worth the wait.
Be warned this place seem to always be busy when I stop by and the staff manage to be courteous with a bit of an edge, difficult to find a place to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere as it s not a large space.

Went there on a with a girl after Lena. Cute spot, nice lighting and interior. We got Turmeric Coffees. I loved it and my date hated it. She was able to return it and get a latte with no issues. That was nice.

Do you have a handlebar moustache? Is embroidery your latest hobby? Then you have found your coffee shop. Friendly, busy, pretentious, fun. Scones. Etc.

My scone was stale. My coffee was fine. Wife said her Americano was iffy.

But this place is about atmosphere and pretentiousness so never mind.

This is where my husband and I first time had a date. Their drink and snack is very fresh. The washroom is classy and impressively clean. This is the place you should go to if you're quality seeker.

Not the best place for studying or working as it's usually quite busy and very loud with chatter and music. Echoing other reviewers, it tends to be difficult to find seating, especially as a group. However, they have outdoor seating, and a set of bar stools behind the counter that usually has space. Although prices were a little high, their coffee has this unique pleasant berry taste to it, and I thought it was worth the try.

One of the little hidden gems you find downtown. It's a cafe by every definition of the word, from the low rumble of people talking, to its wide variety of appetizer and drink offerrings.

It does get busy, so you probably won't immediately get a table for 2 or more people. However, it's immensely satisfying to partake in the environment as you feel right at home.

I had the London fog. Note that some of their drinks have syrup added by default, so ask the barista if you have specific sweetness preferences.

I walk 40 minutes to work, so have been trying every coffee place en route.
This is by far the best. Anyone who takes the time to add foam to the top of your iced latte... is worthy of 5 stars. Oh and the espresso is heavenly. They'll get me every day from now on.

Looking for a place to get some work in before a big meeting? Heck, looking for a casual place for a meeting? This place has it all!

Quick feedback on my experience:

- Food: The coffee and cookies were fantastic!!

- Service: I was surprised how on it everyone was despite how busy it was in there.

- Vibe: Lots of vibrant business executives all the way to interesting students working on their skills - everyone gets along perfectly. It's generous that the outlets are accessible too :)
