Pastries were not fresh and of poor quality. Iced Coffee Americano was mediocre at best. Prices are too high for such mediocre quality.

Great coffee place to meet and catch up with friends. Love the decor, both outside and inside. Friendly and efficient service.
My iced americano was decent, but I wasn't overly thrilled with the service. Staff were not friendly and outgoing, like most coffee shops. No one smiled or acted like they cared. Otherwise a cute little shop.
Great Landmark at the heart of Toronto's Financial District!
The seating areas are still being remodeled so nowhere to sit and eat, also most restaurants don't seem busy so they don't have much food being sold and restalked in the window food trays.
Great, great lattes here. And the food and sandwiches are amazing.
Great Cortado - Busy time so lack of table space and lots of noise.
Coffees tasted great (hot chocolate, americano, cappuccino, caffe latte). Gets a bit busy, so seating might be hard to find, but if you do, it's totally worth it.
This place is always packed! love the patio in the summer! Their mocha is my fav!
Depending what time of the day you go this place might be packed though that's the only negative thing. That said there's a good reason why this happens, this place is wonderful, relaxing and has some of the best coffees I had while visiting the city.
I would definitely recommend this wonderful corner of paradise for any coffee lover!
It s a nice coffeeshop with good coffee and good atmosphere
This is a beautiful cafe. The general aesthetic is warm and cozy. The yellow light from the chandelier and the wide open space provided by the windows let in natural light too. It is just a generally good looking place.
I ordered the lemon ginger tea. It was delicious. The actual flavour of ginger was subtle and I was worried it might be unpleasantly sour from the lemon but it wasn t. It was overall a good hot tea.
I also ordered the carrot cake and blueberry lemon muffin. The actual cake from both desserts were really good, however the icing on the carrot cake missed the mark. Something about it was off and the biggest reason was the fact that it wasn t a cream cheese icing. I couldn t enjoy it as properly.
My friend ordered the matcha latte. It felt like maybe she got a cup of milk with a minuscule size of matcha. A bit unfair for the price of the drink. We wanted matcha not a cup of frothed milk. Hopefully they ll work on that for the future.
It s super loud in there around the afternoon. So if you re going there to study, don t bother. Or just have a really good pair of noise-cancelling headphones.
That was pretty much my experience there. Nice view of Younge St. But nothing to extraordinary.
Dineen coffee is a cute spot downtown. But can be extremely busy and loud! Definitely don't visit here if you plan on going to a coffee shop to get work done. There is a high amount of foot traffic, not that many seats, and a lot of vocal Echo in the space. The coffee is great! But the sweets aren't to write home about. this place is much better for grab-and-go, and if they use the ritual app, I would suggest pre-ordering so as not to wait in such a long line.
Action packed! The guy behind the counter chased down a tip jar stealing thug, thug got non fatally hit by car while being pursued. Swift justice. 4 stars.
Nice seating food and coffee is good.
Not good for groups.
Best cappuccino's I've ever had, very good service.
Delicious coffee and scones, good music and nice atmosphere.
I had a delicious soy chai latte and almond chocolate croissant. The baristas are super nice.
consistently the worst coffee in the downtown core of Toronto! Clients tend to drag me there so complaining onsite is not always a good tactic. Anyway, the coffee is weak, baristas are sub par, lattes are overpriced and they always tend to be luke-warm when served.
One of my My favorite coffee places in the area. Try their cortada and almond machiatto. Such a nice smooth and nutty flavour. Every cup is made with love.
Cozy place for a coffee and good pastries. Have Brazilian trufas which are great! I recommend the Mocha and the butter croissant
good coffee, good atmosphere, good vibes I recommend 100% excellent place to enjoy and take a very good coffee and also fast friendly staff
Best coffee I've had so far in Canada. Period.
Also, the service is wonderful. Fast, Efficient, Satisfying.
But looking at the existing reviews, you already knew all this.
Coffee is just okay and also it's almost impossible to get a seat and you can barely hear
Beautiful cafe! Most 'ritzy' cafes tend to look nicer than they taste but this place has stellar coffee and lattes, I make an effort to go here whenever I'm in the downtown core! Prices are also fair for the quality you get!
They serve good coffee of course. The atmosphere is also nice. It is always crowded but most of them are people working around there and don't stay there long, so you don't have to wait that long to get seats. They sometimes offer live music in weekday morning.
Coffee is great, service is quick and friendly and the actual venue itself is beautiful. It's always quite busy and as such can get a bit loud at times. Overall great spot recommend checking out downtown.
I like Dineen very much. Their house espresso bean is excellent and they make their drinks with care. The baked goods are way above the usual found in a popular coffee shop
The Vanilla Latte I had there was hands down the best hot beverage I ve ever had!
I don't drink coffee (just tea) but my compatriots for this visit said the coffee was excellent. The vibe here is pretty high on the "cool" scale, but the young lady who took our order was charming and very friendly, which helped offset the less than enthusiastic barristas who actually made our beverages.
Pretty place. Feels special just being in there so it's worth the small price difference compared to other places.
Solid coffee and very nice ambience/decor! I'd go back there!
Very nice quality. The only thing I did like was the waste of milk because everytime a barista gets a wrong ingredient on the froather jar he/she throws it to the garbage while they can use it for the next drink. They sell a lot of beverages in a short time so I do not think they will jeopardize the quality or freshness of the drinks for this.
Nice place to hang out and get a decent cup of coffee.
One word: delicious. Smoothest Americano I've ever had!
I like this place alot because I could have coffee there!
Coffee alright, terrible cookie. Was hoping to have a better experience. Go to NEO coffee instead!
Cute Parisien atmosphere. Great coffee. Service is ok. Nice patio!
Very crowded. Coffee is great, but pastries and a bit of a let down
Frustrating. A jumble of confused looking employees behind the cash and nobody taking an order. I waited way too long for a latte and was never given the muffin I ordered. Where is good management for this place?
Great curtado and really neat conversion from the old store. Lots of outdoor seating that gets some nice sunlight during mid day
I love the decor and feel of this place but the service is consistently poor and the wait times for coffee are atrocious. There are always anywhere between 4 and 6 people behind the counter but no one is ever doing anything. The people working the cash are impersonal and the barristas give more attention to each other than the coffee they are preparing. I've been at various times of day and even with just 2 people ahead of me ordering americanos I've had to wait over 5 minutes for mine.
I love this coffee place. Great coffee, elegant interior and efficient, well trained staff. Good selection of coffee and pastries. In the heart of the downtown. Suitable for short business meeting.
Obviously when it comes to coffee and tea, everything becomes emotional. And although service was a little laid back the cappuccino was to my liking.
I would say, the best coffee we found in Toronto. Food is ok. I liked their outdoor patio.
Nice atmosphere to enjoy your coffee outside ... fast and friendly service ...
Great coffee, pastries and smaller meals but the real reason to go is the ambience of a remarkably beautiful coffee shop. You'll definitely see why it's a favorite spot for the Insta-fans as Soon as you step in!
Very convenient location right behind the deloitte downtown office, Dineen has both hot and cold Coffee options though the flavour customizations are limited. They do a decent job of the product. Has both indoor and outdoor seating. Simple yet captivating decor.
Cozy coffee shop in the heart of Toronto. Great staff, amazing coffee selection. Only thing that bugged me was that they didn't have any light roast on drip, but regardless, still one my favourites.
It was my first time at this place with my sister in law. The place was very busy but the staff were pretty quick to get order but they forgot our sweet that we order and no microwave to warm that up.
Great, but always busy. Wish this place was open late for an espresso after dinner.
this place remind at home. baking good food, sandwiches tasted awesome.
A bit overhyped. Nice decor and all but it's always too busy and chaotic.
Great staff and atmosphere, bit of a wait to be seated though.
they had the best sanwhiches then they cut corners and brought in a cheaper bread taste like airplane food
Best tasting latte in the city! Every time I m in Toronto I make a stop here.
Price is higher then average, but quality is unrivalled.
Iced + Hot drinks are all good.
The place is adequate for laptop work, or reading. There is a good amount of seating, but after 9am it s always packed with people doing business or catching up; so you might need to take a seat at the high chairs until a table frees up. The wifi is perfect for Jira, emails, music streaming, etc.
Very nice sandwiches and coffee with friendly staff and a chilled atmosphere.
Absolutely beautiful inside. The coffee is also amazing.
It's okay. I went at noon on a Thursday so it was very loud and my companion and I had to shout to be able to hear each other from being two feet apart. It was crowded - don't expect to find a seat during the morning and lunch rush. There is no service either. You order at the counter, pick it up yourself. No one will bring it to you. We ordered a spiced chai which normally contains milk. What we received was a teabag in a cup of hot water (we order to stay) and we had to take our cups to another part of the shop to add milk, which is quite inconvenient if you have your things at a table during a busy time. The price was decent however, 2 medium chais were about $5. But again, self serve and not a pleasant ambiance.
Good coffee and service but finding space to sit can be a challenge.
Love it!! Went on a rainy day ( was super busy) small space, but very elegant... the cookies were delicious and chewy and coffee was amazing.
Posh, upscale and well-designed; serving excellent coffee. However, there are very seldom any seats indoors or outdoors... the place needs to consider expanding! Don t expect to find a seat on a walk-in during daytime hours as it s always busy.
