One of the loveliest coffee shops in Toronto I d say. It s usually pretty busy and find a table is a challenge. But if you score one, enjoy it!
Been waiting to go to this place for a year. Finally went today. I had high expectations and this place met all of them! These two pics are of a Vanilla Latte and a Pistachio muffin.
it's a great experience to visit this cafe. the quality is really good but it's usually busy and crowded. I really like the decoration.
The only reason I won t be returning is because of a barista and manager. The barista was insanely rude to me and the manager flippantly said ok have a good night when I told him about it. This place clearly is run by people who have no idea of good customer service. It s a shame that I have to tell the entire company I travel with not to give their business to you. It s great coffee.
Mainly came here for some good coffee while visiting from Vancouver but decided to try them for lunch. Had their apple, Brie and walnut sandwich and it was fantastic! Got a latte too and it was good, but they over steam their milk. Very cute place and nice service. Will definitely return.
Great coffee and snacks. Nice patio. Just be prepared for loooong lines.
Cozy, cappy's pretty good (but too milky, coffee roast not rich/strong enough), crowded and seating difficult.
The spot is great, but the quality and taste was low for the cost. I expected good quality and taste from a well rated cafe
Quality coffee and good atmosphere! Crowd can be pretentious though
Love the vanilla latte. Sometimes it gets busy but the coffee is great and the staff are super friendly.
Dineen is a super cute coffee spot basically in the heart of downtown. The snacks and hot beverages are great, but it can get a little loud and cramped during peak hours.
A great place for nice lattes and coffee. Adequate seating space inside, great on warm days for their outside seating! Brownies and cakes are a must at this shop.
The best coffee in Toronto. Lattes are perfectly smooth, although not always consistent, this depends on the barista.
One of my favorite coffee spots in town. Great atmosphere and interiors. Sometimes the music can get loud
Very bright coffee place with huge windows bringing a lot of light to it. Coffee is good and well prepared, the staff is nice. Interior is beautiful and quite fancy. It gets extremely crowded during lunch time onwards
My rating is heavily based on espresso (latte) performance. Dineen manually grinds, tamps and extracts their espresso shots. You will get better pulls than from a large chain. Their milk stretching and frothing is on point with an ability to do leaves. After a few lattes my impression is that they may be tamping to hard for the grind size and bean. I find the lattes are always just a bit too far into the bitter side for my enjoyment.
You can buy beans here but they don't provide roast dates. Who knows what you are getting.
Good place to sit and have a cup of coffee in the morning when it's not busy. Can be difficult to find a seat in the afternoon. Great location, one of my go to places for coffee. Ambiance is very aesthetic, if it's a sunny afternoon the light comes through the window perfectly.
Busy cafe with own brand coffee. Barista's are often too busy to start a conversation with you cozy atmosphere with a historic background. Nice little outdoor patio but loud as it's in the centre of Yonge street. Coffee is above average, dialled correctly and pulled right but nothing to write home about.
Going to give the place a 4. This was a second chance visit. I went here before and the guest experience was less than satisfactory. I met co workers here for breakfast and the experience was mildly better.
Still a little surprised they were hesitant to run a tab and told me they would not do so again, even though i gave them my card!.
Doesn't seem realistic to me when they are surrounded by the pillars of high finance, a block off Adelaide.
Anyway, the food was good for a light breakfast and the coffee better than my previous visit.
The one young lady ad the counter, who usually works at the other locations she told me, turned the whole experience around for me.
Thank you smiley blond girl! Wasn't for you i would not have left a review.
It is recommended to start from Toronto down down morning here.
The building is an appearance that reminds me of the old Young Story.
Right now, a fashionable Canadian is scheduled with a tablet with a caffe latte and a pudding.
We can finish the cake without too much sweetness for us of the Japanese.
It is the best place to meet because it is easy to understand.
Coffee is good but the service is a bit cold and inconsistent. I go there because it s convenient but there are better choices if you re willing to walk a couple of blocks. Starbucks is a better option
Long waits around lunch time and lots of food/snack items sold out so go early if you want something specific. This was hands down the best espresso I have ever tasted (in an Americano) and wish I lived next door. Will be coming back for sure! Prices are also pretty reasonable.
Fantastic coffee, probably your best bet in the area. The croissants are probably the closest you will find from the real thing in Toronto
Love this place. They always have perfect lattes and and a great selection of pastries that are fresh and delicious.
Excellent espresso served in a really classy cafe. The only downside is that the crowds really detract from the atmosphere.
Great place to grab a coffee and a snack. I love their cortados and also the staff is super friendly making it overall a fantastic experience. There are also sandwiches and salads available to eat that tastes very well.
Great coffee and selection of bakery items. Ordered almond latte - fantastic just like at home Australia
Great taste, fast service, and pro staff. One of the best in financial district.
Nice tea or coffee place. Good selection, laid back atmosphere.
Excellent coffee. Great pastries. Interesting decor in a converted bank.
Found this nice coffee shop at the corner of Temperance and Yonge (just south of Richmond). Busy place, filled with consultants and finance industry professionals from neighbouring offices. Cool place to get some work done as wifi is reliable, and no pressure from staff to continuously order things. Might be a good place to network too if you're into that sort of thing. Tough to find a seat if you come during work hours!
Nice coffee shop, great patio. Is usually very busy and hard to find seats
Bought 2 americanos to stay. waited about 10 minutes for the first. Waited about ten more minutes and eventually asked for the second. The second came in a paper cup. By the time we both got our drinks mine was warm-ish... 0/10 coffee date.
Easy to get to and on the Path close to union station.
Seats can be hard to get. But, the service is really good for those on-the-go and not to forget the exquisite coffee.
Great atmosphere, service ok, free wifi, nice coffee (I usually order Mocha, it has a distinct chocolate/nutty aroma).
Super cute cafe vibe, yummy vegan prepackaged overnight oats, and quality coffee.
*straw-less establishment* (thumbs up)
amazing place, always have to wait for a few minutes but its worth it.
Fantastic coffee and service. I went there three times in three days and got different drinks Everytime. The service was always on point and the coffee delicious. Would definitely recommend if you are ever in the area and in the mood for real coffee that's not starbucks.
This is a great place to grab a coffee, with beautiful decor. I only gave it a three though because I find the service slow and they often mess up my order. It s also a busy spot with little inside seating. On the plays, if it s a nice day you can sit on the ample seating on the street corner.
Extremely busy! Get ready to wait for the seat and your drink. Best time to come is before 8 am.
Nice atmosphere! Great for work in between the meetings:)
Pecan square was superb, a small sized delight Skim milk latte, was nice and creamy but not my favorite bean/roast combination Great atmosphere but rather full, that being said probably my favorite cafe in the downtown area.
Great quality of coffee and friendly team, but a very busy place.
One of my favorite independent coffee shops in Toronto. Espressos and drip coffee is always excellent and the pastries are always fresh. The Cortado is also a steal at $3.50 compared to the price of a flat white at Starbucks. Dine in or take it to go.
Nice atmosphere to meet with your friends and have a nice coffee. They have a few nice desserts options. Carrot cake was really good.
Great for parking near ACC, but they increase parking rates for hockey games.
Nice coffee and great service will be my fav coffeeeeee spot soon
