A unique and high quality photo lab, run by passionate people of the craft. They are printing extremely high quality black and white photographs. (They can also make VERY large prints). They do beautiful museum quality printing of color files also.

We had to have 3 copies of vintage 1930s/40s photographs made for an exhibit at 2 major US museums. The originals were lost in transit by UPS. Digital Silver came to the rescue using our high resolution images to make copies that were accepted by the exhibits curator. Working with them (especially Kayla) was a pleasure. The process was seamless, curteous and prompt. We had some special instructions on shipping and handling that were executed perfectly. What was a bad situation (UPS losing irreplaceable photos) was largely ameliorated by Digital Silver's skill and service. Thank you!

I ordered two separate digital silver gelatin prints from DSI (Ilford Galerie Fiber Base paper). I had them apply a chemical sepia toner to each image to enhance the depth and warmth. I am a believer. The depth and overall quality of the image is immediately apparent upon seeing it right out of the box. The kind of beauty achieved through the digital silver print process cannot be replicated with a standard ink jet method. DSI is easy to work with as well as knowledgeable about the art of the craft and every step of the printmaking process. Their website and upload forum (overall interface) is very simple and intuitive. This is a straight forward operation all around. When you combine the cost/convenience/quality matrix, there is no better option out there for real silver gelatin prints. The technology is incredible and flawless. Highly recommend!

DSI have two big qualities going for them : 1) The best quality printing of black & white digital photos anywhere. And at reasonable price. 2) Terrific, personal service. After using the 'value' interface to upload some photos I emailed asking if the prints could be expedited for an exhibition. Prints arrived in time to be framed and submitted!
