Great Zoo!
A bit high admission price, but it is also a very large zoo with many different animals and attractions

I thought the zoo was great and the animals were kept beautiful, but I think there should be more information signs about the respective animal. There should also be a few more seats.

having had a wedding in the zoo's cheerful village was taken care of down to the last detail.

Well maintained, habitat themed zoo. Oceanorium was vast and excellent experience !

Super fun ... walked 6 hours there. Friendly staff, spacious parking space and cozy atmosphere. Animals all have the space, and look well cared for. Certainly worth doing again.

I fully understand that the zoo had a difficult time being closed. This of course also has financial consequences. However when we, paying full fare, were confronted with plenty of closed attractions/entrances, this didn't really make us happy. Perfect trip with kids, beautifull aquarium, just be aware of plenty of closed things.

Nice park with spacious paths. Glad the old Victorian greenhouse is still there. Only the indoor playground I find less suitable for the small children.
Anyway, we had a nice day.

We often went wrong. The signage can use an update.

Perfect for a family day out and very child-friendly (any age). Amur leopard, Sumatran tiger and polar bear were major highlights, but all the animals are amazing in their own right. Enclosures were well thought out, even with limited spaced. Tbe zoo staff interact well with guests answering the most complex children's questions! Food locations seemed limited, and the catering staff were sometimes unresponsive and therefore slight reduces the otherwise top rating.

Simply the best zoo in the Netherlands and in the most beautiful city. Blijdorp is a beautiful zoo. Have taken a subscription for a year, walk around with the kids and watch the animals. And of course a ride in the zoo train Worth a visit.

Well worth a visit and it is very large. It will even be better in Spring or Summer.

One of the nicest zoo's in Holland. Especially the giant aquarium is worth visiting.

Nice park, lots of animals. Have a subscription to the park yourself, so I'm quite often. The restaurants are also tasty. I often take the minced ball one that pleases me every time. For the rest the decoration is also very beautiful.

Large parking lot. You can easily buy last minute tickets online and check in with your phone. In addition, they have an app with different walking routes throughout the park.

Dit blijft de leukste en mooiste dierentuin van Nederland. Veelzijdig, educatief en je kunt de dieren van heel dichtbij bekijken. Mooi aangelegde verblijven.

Parkeren was bijzonder aangegeven.. bij p1 stond een bord dat we ergens anders moesten parkeren, maar dat bleek vol.. toch maar terug gereden en er was nog plek zat op p1!...
Tussen de middag eten besteld, maar de mensen naast ons kregen eerder het eten dan wij terwijl wij eerder besteld hadden.
Wat wel positief was dat het personeel dat zelf ook doorhad en tegen ons zeiden dat ons eten eraan kwam maar dat het erg druk was.
Helaas was mijn pannenkoek niet gaar, nieuwe gekregen en een beetje korting.
Wat ons ook opviel was dat ze in de shop personeel hadden staan die vooral de snoep bakken in de gaten hielden en of er gestolen werd.
Mooie grote dierentuin. Zijn hier al vaker geweest.

Loved it. Plenty of animals to see. Enclosures could have been better but could say that at a lot of zoo's. Plenty to see here

You see all different animals, only the internet was full of stalls, nicely decorated, etc. was disappointing

Fun and educational for the children. The animals are easy to view everywhere and the shelters are spacious.

Great zoo with lots of space - probably the best zoo in the Netherlands

A very nice Zoo. Good structure, a good number of animals and friendly staff. During my visit many structures were undergoing renovation but everything was fine.
The only downside is that there none (or almost none) information in English, what makes the visit for the foreigners harder.

Mijn favoriete dierentuin. Alleen waren er een aantal dieren niet of niet goed te zien vanwege verbouwingen en andere oorzaken. Verder wel weer een leuke dag gehad!

Nice zoo, but lately a lot of renovation in some places that you wonder when it is finally finished (edit: I have been told that these renovations take place logically in the winter so that the summer looks extra slick). Had lunch in the star room with family, nice place, tasty cake and sandwiches and above all handy service, but reasonably pricey so you get something in return. 4 stars!

Beautiful park, nothing wrong with that. Only the catering prices are very high (as in all other parks).

Every time we find something new when we go to Blijdorp. Remains a nice experience to go together. Had a great day.

Very nice and beautiful zoo. Visit in connection with a wedding. Despite my objection to locking up animals, I had a nice day. Definitely worth it for enthusiasts.

Beautiful Zoo, we can touch the giraffes if they come to us and the Amazon sphere with the beautiful butterfly flying around us sublime, too bad we did not let us see the oceanium because it only stay 15 minutes before closing ...

Blijdorp is always a fun, educational experience. We will go there many times!

Cozy zoo especially for the children, especially oceania

I loved it, there are many species, I love the principle of having categorized by genre continents Africa, Europe, Asia ... Very big and entertaining.

Really good zoo, wish there were English descriptions too though for the animals

Nice zoo. Well designed, (apparently) spacious accommodation. I have seen animals that I have not seen anywhere else. Prices for food and drinks are also nice for a zoo. Tip is not to come from the entrance to the parking lot, which is busy. If you come from the other side on a weekday you walk against the stream and you have peace everywhere.

Was very cozy there are lots.Things changed and adjusted I found it a very nice experience disadvantage at restaurant oceanium so entrance from parking there can be very.druk.are with long rows as.you want to eat other products are you.welely soon assisted.

Was a nice and nice zoo, but the nice thing is it makes poor / overdue maintenance as it is now JAMMER

Ik had eigenlijk wel verwacht dat ze langer open zouden zijn dan 18uur.
In Emmen is de zoo gewoon tot 20uur in de zomer.
Veel pretparken zijn zelfs in de weekenden tot 22 of 23uur open. 18uur is net etenstijd dat komt dan ook erg ongelukkig uit.

Dan moeten we in de avond opzoek naar een McDonald's.

Nice zoo. Very big, lots to see. Nice stays for the animals present.

Geweldig mooie dierentuin. Dieren leven veeel vrijer dan vroeger. Alleen toen kon je olifanten nog pindaatje voeren , maar liever puur de natuur voor de beesten. Ook mooie begroeiing. Je waan je soms echt in de tropen en het Chinese huis helemaal schitterend. Echt om een dag met kinderen of kleinkinderen naar toe te gaan.

You can visit a beautiful zoo with an annual ticket more often, it is good to stay there

Nice zoo with slot of different animals although a bit confusing to navigate and a bit overgrown in some places making it more difficult to see the animals due to trees blocking the view

Blijdorp has clearly indicated how you can best keep your distance.

Great zoo with many and varied exhibits. Loved the way you can see animals roaming outside and then see them inside through glass!
