Beautifully landscaped park. Spacious with space for the animals. And also enough space to sit and watch the animals.

Nice zoo with a well laid out plan. As all different areas come together at 1 central square it is easy to walk around while not missing any spots. The rope bridges inside the tropical area are nice to climb for kids (a bit challenging for adults though)

Lovely place with a lot of attractions! U feel like if u were in holidays if u are there. Thank u so much for this amazing place.

Ik kom hier zelf als abonnementhouder regelmatig. En als abonnementhouder ga je over het algemeen gauw de slechte kanten zien van parken. Al is over Wildlands niet veel te klagen. Veel mensen zeuren over de dieren 's winters. Maar een gemiddelde Nederlander kan toch wel na gaan dat een giraf, neushoorn, olifant en de polonaise die daar achter aankomt, met temperaturen onder het vriespunt niet naar buiten gaat. Als een van de dieren omvalt en niet overeind kan komen, dan heb je een nog veel groter probleem.

Buiten dat om, is het een geweldig gethematiseerd park. Als je alles eens goed bestudeerd (Vooral in Jungola), dan zul je als het ware het echte gevoel van een Jungle gaat krijgen. Over de 'buitenverblijven' van de dieren is niet te klagen. Ze zijn altijd schoon en mooi aangelegd. (Op de leeuwen een beetje na dan)

's winters kun je het beste Nortica overslaan, de ijsberen (ondanks hun natuurlijke gedrag) weigeren om naar buiten te komen, dit was ook al in het oude dierenpark zoo. Wat bij Nortica wel een Must-do is, is de 3D-simulator. De voor-show is matig, maar de hoofd-show is het wel waard. Zelf ben ik niet bij de zeeleeuwenshow geweest, dit omdat ik hier geen supporter van ben.


Je kunt o.a de Neushoorn's, gnoe's, zebra's, struisvogel's & nijlpaarden in hun nachtverblijf verwonderen. Best geinig om te zien. In Animazia (voormalig Yoekatan) zijn slechts enkele 'land' & zee-schildpadden te bewonderen. Ook nog enkele aquariums. O.a met 'Nemo' de vis. Overigens zijn de prairiehonden wel gewoon buiten, of in hun holletje.



En over het entertainment gesproken, als je dacht dat je nog niks geleerd had. Probeer de show van Jungle Jim eens. Of ga naar matilda (Nortica bij de zeeleeuwen. Rond 13:30) Zo kun je een echte ijsberenpoot bewonderen!.

Ben je meer van de wat drukkere dagen? Ga dan s.v.p in de zomer. Want 's winters is het echt rustig, ondanks vakanties. Het kan maar zo zijn dat je slechts 1 van de 60 bezoekers bent die er dan is.

Toch meer van het simpele ik wil kijken en meer niet, kom dan zomers. Dan zijn alle dieren gegarandeerd buiten.

Voor mensen in een rolstoel! Het park is rolstoelvriendelijk, geen drempels, invalidentoiletten etc. Maar zorg er voor dat je sterk in de armen bent, want je moet heuveltje, heuveltje af.

Iets wat bij mij een absolute afknapper was, is het toilet voor ontlasting. Toiletten e.d zijn zeer schoon, maar vet onhandig 'Wc-Papier', Althans, die naam verdient het niet. Het zijn 'n soort van kant en klare wc papiertjes. Ze komen er opgevouwen uit, als een soort van tissue. Dus, moet je een olifant drol, of caviadrol neerleggen. Overweeg het maar niet.

Great & clean park with extremely friendly staff.
Animals have a lot of space and in many cases they walk / fly around what is a very nice experience. The park is also nicely decorated and they have a fun roller coaster. That people complain about this park, I do not understand because it is really great and have never experienced that animals up to 1cm distance are approachable.
We will definitely come back again!

Nice park. Nice attractions but not an average zoo.

Been to Wildlands for the 2nd time. The first time it came out of the air with bins and therefore could not see much of the park. Yesterday again, nice weather and had a nice day out. The animals have enough space and the stay places look clean and tidy. The park also looks neat. Eating and drinking in the park is on the pricey side.

What a nice animal park! Most beautiful animal park in the Netherlands. Normally I am not so fond of the zoos, because I feel sorry for the animals. But I think Wildlands is well set up. Much nicer and nicer than the old (rwetse) park. With beautiful flora and fauna, not too many animals, few animals in small boxes behind glass, the animals had more space than in other conventional zoos. I really do not understand the negative reviews, because we were amazed. Tastes will differ?
We had a good survival workout in the rope bridges in Jungola. Adventurous and sporty. So it's not just monkey watching.
We had a great time the whole day with my son and haven't seen half of it. We had beautiful weather. The staff were friendly and in the shops they had special souvenirs (which I have not seen before).
We also have to see the other half of the park, so we will definitely come again!

First of all, I have nothing to do with zoos. But, here I think that in general, the animals have a fair amount of space.
Park consists of three parts. Nortica, Serenga and Jungola.

The signage is reasonable. But it can be better with various transactions, such as Nortica, testride arctic 1, input not properly indicated. The explanation at Terra Explorer could also be better.

In part Serenga I find the train parts a very nice addition. Disney can learn something from the decoration.

It is a shame that the Serenga safari does not run with electric cars. I don't think big gasoline cars are of this time anymore.

Butterfly garden in Jungola is very nice.

Food is at the price, but at which park it is not.

At 10-15 minutes from the park, you can find a very large parking lot for free. Right next to hotel Hampshire, emmalaan. saves ten again !!

Beautiful and clear park, not a zoo but a park for young and old.

Park with an eye for the animals. Fewer species but the animals that are there do have the space and are well cared for. The jungle is really great! I feel more like a holiday here where the animals walk past you in a similar natural environment.

Modern zoo / attraction park with beautiful butterfly temple and spectacular Jungledome. Ideal for families with children. Large indoor climb / play hall for children.

Well luek zoo just a pity that the photos that are made are not right favored truck with the name on it that is only half on it really unfortunate but otherwise luek but do not really get a feeling that X wants back miss some animals and is small than I expected

Due to the separate action of several staff members we were able to see very little of the park (we had to pin outside the park, in the shopping center, all in all it took at least one and a half hour extra time, for money we would spend in the park). Staff at the start of the day were friendly, not much later in the day.

Very unfortunate for such a drive and expensive entrance and the rest.
We will think of ourselves three times before we ever go there again.

Leuke dierentuin.

Af en toe zoeken naar de dieren maar voor de rest mooi aangekleed.

Af en toe waren er dingen dicht door corona.
Maar dat geldt meer voor de kinderen.

Leuke dag gehad, en een richting was ook prima.

Nicely laid out, but that is it. The mix of zoo and adventure park is completely wrong here. The lack of animals is noticeable throughout the park. Although we had a nice day, this visit was a one-time visit for us. If not much has changed in the short term (read: more animals) then the park is doomed.

Fantastic beautiful zoo where the animals have a lot of space and are cared for with respect and a lot of love. Recommended.

Fun ..... nothing more ..... much less animals than in the old zoo, less atmospheric, fun for once.

Super nice zoo. The animals have a lot of space and the decoration is very beautiful. The animals were also very lively. You don't look (in your opinion) at animals in boxes, but you really have to look for them. Especially for children there is a lot to do. They do not have the most animal species, but it is very spacious and you can have a great time all day. I thought it was very beautiful!

Nicely designed theme park. Everything thought out in detail. Good combination of DIY things for the kids and animals on display. Unfortunately there was only 1 polar bear and besides the sea lions and 1 type of penguins not many animals from the polar regions were seen.

In itself a beautiful zoo just a pity that you have to do something to see animals.

Ff getting used to the Corona policy but it is clearly indicated (although there are always people who do not adhere to it ...).
I was also able to go there with my #autipass, you have to show your card when you enter an office and you will receive an invalid card.

Bit on the expensive side, had a super nice day. Beautiful park, everything looked clean, it took a while before we were helped in the restaurant and the stamps for the adventure passport for the children were somewhat weird indicated (this can be at souvenir shops and restaurants at the counter).

Very nice zoo! Adhere well to the measures of corona. Not to busy. Disinfection points everywhere. One-way traffic. And it was great fun with the kids. A lot to do! Highly recommended!

It's really fantastic place for family. I think a animals feel very comfortable there.

In itself it is a beautiful zoo where the traditional cages are missing. What is striking is that it is mainly aimed at children. Especially the 3 attractions are attractive for children and less for adults. This does not alter the fact that everything is beautifully finished and is a feast for the eyes.

Today visited the park with 2 adults. I recognize relatively few of all negative reviews. Even though it wasn't very busy today, so maybe that makes a difference.

Nice stays, lots to see !! Staff was very friendly. Everything looks very well cared for. Enough and clean toilets. We have been there one day and have not been bored.

In terms of price. This is certainly not skinny but is also no different than in other parks or zoos. The food quality (and more importantly the coffee) was good :)

Twee uur rijden om na nog geen twee uur door het park lopen, weer twee uur terug te rijden. Hadden we nu eerst maar de recensies gelezen :-/
Groot park met veel ruimte voor de dieren, maar waar waren die dieren?
Misschien zijn wij verwend door een Artis met veel meer soorten en aantallen dieren?!?
Veel land dus maar weinig wild en als iemand het avontuur gevonden heeft, wat op het bord bij de ingang hangt ("het avontuur begint hier") laat het ons dan even weten. Misschien hebben wij het namelijk over het hoofd gezien?!?

In itself a beautiful park. But prices are ridiculous ( 1.25 for a rocket), and some stays seem small for the amount of animals that live in it. The playgrounds are very beautiful

I'm sorry when I read the newspapers about Wildlands being under attack and also the reaction, s. Together with 3 children I was 4.5 and 8 partner and grandfather and grandmother. A fantastic day, we were short of time..beautiful animals, nice staff, enjoyed the restaurants. I would go again, on a next vacation. Find it highly recommended.

Being able to order tickets inexpensively via the ANWB membership card. Nice themes and seen enough animals. We like that the animals have a lot of space and beautiful accommodations. As a result, it sometimes happens that you have to take a good look at where they are. We had about enough time to see everything at about 5 o'clock. The attractions were fun, but without that we would have enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful adventurous indoor playground and outside also here and there climbing and scrambling opportunities for the kids. Also creep and sneak paths. Everywhere in the park there are also eating, drinking and seating options and the paths are easily accessible with a pram. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed it very much!

Zoo? Very few animals. And that terrible background music! To drive you crazy ! Turn of! It's much more fun to hear the sounds. Little information for older people. They are not like the zoo app! Why not a private parking space? You are against the q park. Get rid of those crazy attractions and get animals in return. In short, never again! Fortunately, there are other zoos.

Nice zoo that is not very big and then the price is quite high (also after the price reduction including 2019) partly in view of the parking which is proportionately half the price of admission. This also applies if you order the tickets online, otherwise the admission price is even higher.

Super spacious accommodation all at their disposal and the animals can decide for themselves whether they come close to people. Looked great we will definitely go back.

When the park was only recently opened I went there once and I thought it was worthless and a new visit worth repeating. Now we are four years later and a lot has changed, especially for wheelchair users. My wife is in a wheelchair. The high fences are gone so that a wheelchair user does not have to look at those fences. So much has changed now that my wife wants to purchase an annual subscription now. Wildlands is open until 8 am until 25 August. But the photo shop was closed at six o'clock. Because of this, he could not retrieve a photo that was made upon arrival. A small minus so. But my wife went after it. She now gets her pictures taken and can still order a print. So good service

It doesn't cost anything, but it has become a beautiful animal park. And actually a little more than that. You can certainly spend all day here. If you prepare well, you can get the most out of your visit.

Very nice zoo. Not very big v. But the animals have a lot of space and that's so nice to see. Definitely take a boat trip. Unbelievable that people have made that so beautiful. Definitely worth doing in the summer

It was really nice and is only recommended. Have never seen such a beautiful zoo. We were there for over 5 hours and would have taken an hour longer. (but had to go)
The entrance fee was really worth it. Come again!

I realy love this zoo its in a naturale scenery the pictures you can take are amazing because of the freedom the animals have.
The food is nice love eating there there are a lot of things to do also for childeren.
It was inspired by Animal Kingdom i have been there a few times in Florida.
Ok its not even close or as big but i life close by Wildlands and i am happy to go there when i want yo visite a zoo close by.

Afgelopen woensdag geweest. We stonden al in de file om Emmen in de komen. Toen we bijna bij het park waren stuurde een verkeersleider met een geel hesje ons de verkeerde kant op. We zagen hele hordes mensen al naar de entree lopen. Ik dacht al bij mezelf 'nee he, wordt het zo'n dag?'
Maar eenmaal binnen viel het mee. De drukte was net op het randje.

Voor onze dochter van 3 was het een super ervaring. Normaal gaan we naar Blijdorp maar hier was het toch net even wat anders. We konden de dieren goed zien en ik heb voor het eerst in mijn leven een olifant zien zwemmen (het was ook 30 graden).

1 Tip: Ga als laatste het binnenspeelparadijs in. Eenmaal binnen willen kinderen niet meer naar buiten. Het is daar een prachtig speelparadijs.

Voor kinderen is het leuk, voor de ouders weinig te beleven! Entree prijs ligt hoog voor wat je krijgt!!

Have become a nice zoo, the animals have good stays and look good and satisfied. There is a lot to do for families with children. And there are plenty of eateries.

Last Sunday everything was badly arranged in terms of corona. way too busy, everyone is on their own and nobody cares about each other. park is pretty nice and clean but few animals.

Very nice and nice park but is not really suitable for older people because it is a very large park and you have to walk far to see everything.

Great zoo with lots of space for most animals. We loved the theme park vibe. Everything is designed and build with a lot of detail. We forgot we were in a city zoo 99% of time.
