Beautiful zoo with lots to see and do. Especially for smaller adventurers there is something to do everywhere. Climbing frames that are nicely integrated in the whole, Jungle Jim, Nortica etc.
But also for adults there is plenty of interesting to see and experience. I really liked the hippos and the possibility to see them under water.
I found the safari disappointing. This is quite short and not really special. On the other hand, the boat trip in the jungle is great for young and old.

Het verbaasd me dat de klagers nog steeds het nieuwe met het oude vergelijken.
De naam zegt het al het is een avonturenpark, geen dierentuin.
Iedereen loopt maar te janken over de oude dierentuin maar echt een warm hart hebben jullie die niet massaal toe gedragen anders was het niet meermaals zo goed als failliet geweest in het verleden.

Ja ik vind dierenpark Amersfoorts de mooiste van het land maar wel een tyfus eind rijden vanuit Groningen en hier rijden we met onze abonnementen zo ff naar toe voor een paar uurtjes.
De kinderen vinden het fantastisch en daar gaat het om, volwassenen zijn volgens mij nergens meer tevreden als het niet hi-tech genoeg is met 1001 verschillende dieren zonder wachtrij.
Ga anders lekker een maand op safari in Afrika als je hoge eisen stelt aan het aantal dieren wat je wilt zien.

Ik ga onze abonnementen voor 2018 niet verlengen omdat we het wel gezien hebben na dit jaar en in 2019 zien we wel weer.

Sommige commentaren beaam ik.
Maar sommige vind ik ook klaagzang van mensen die volgens mij nergens meer tevreden mee zijn, al zouden een ritje mogen maken op de rug van neushoorn, dan zou er wel weer iets mis zijn met de koffie of het toilet.

Als we allemaal zo massaal gaan lopen klagen en maar blijven vergelijken met het oude (wat bejaarden ook doen vroeger was alles beter) Dan vrees ik dat het park geen lang leven beschoren is.
Park moet nog groeien en dan moet het wel een kans krijgen, al die andere parken staan er al 80 jaar en dit is net opgeleverd....

Less variety of animals than at other zoos. But these do have the necessary space. Zoo itself is very nicely decorated. Lots of deco.

Very beautiful zoo. Instead of cages you come exactly every time in their environment where different animals live together. You can also experience the zoo in different ways such as with a boat on a river or on a safari with a van.
For children there is also regularly an extra challenge along the way.

Great zoo. No complaints, nice staff. Definitely recommended.

We were scared of the entrance fee, but it was worth every euro. It really is not a zoo in the traditional sense, just unique. The time was really tight, if you want to see and use everything and not just run. The zoo is divided into 4 areas and each one is themed and offers more than animals watching. It is guaranteed not to be the last visit ....

Well nicely set up, only the entrance fees far too high, ticket costs 36.00 and the price of food and drink is also much too high!

Great zoo.
When wildlands first existed I didn't really like it, but now that they have made a continuation between two parts and you don't have to walk back to the beginning every piece, it's much better. Also very nice that now everything is beautifully overgrown and the park really seems finished.

Very great park with great attention to detail - great for young and old - absolute recommendation!

Especially fun for children. Shows were particularly disappointing as adults. Zoo is beautiful, but not that big.

A zoo focused on entertaining children. The animals have large enclosures an can be a little hard to spot sometimes. Fortunately they can get pretty close if they want to. Also the enclosures look very natural and where possible barriers were left out completely. At several points the path goes through the enclosure, it's not allowed to leave the path but animals can cross the path. Tickets are expensive, but for families with children I recommend this zoo. Adults without children I would recommend to visit a different zoo.

Every time I come there I see new things. I think I've never been tired. The children always have a good time!

Nice zoo with some nice extras such as sailing in a boat, the roller coaster and the safari. You can buy cups for the park and have them filled for an unlimited amount.

By definition incomparable with the old Noorder Dierenpark / Dierenpark Emmen. Insanely grand with 3 different continents. The decoration is amazing, a lot of attention to detail.
Minus is the lack of education and information.

It is more an actractions me theme animals liked the previous zoo nicer animals.

Do not think it's a nice animal park. Very bald. 2 x now and no not my park.

Nice zoo also nice that you go in a cart along the animals just a pity that it is very expensive.

What do you say about it? The first time you look your eyes out because everything is different from a normal zoo.
But are you home and you talk after it is still a disappointment it just does not have it. The entrance fee is high before we go again, we are a few years later. With a jumbo discount you can go to most parks for 10.00 euros and you don't come in as cheap as they drop a stab. Think for yourself that hope needs to change if you want to become a topper. We often went to the old park, so not this park

Prioritize to visit this amazing place while in the Netherlands.
For sure you will not be disappointed :)
Just book yourself the whole day, because the park is huge.
It is a pity that in Poland there are no such attractive amusement parks connected with the ZOO.

Very nicely landscaped park. Especially for children also a lot of playground. Yes and if you take a subscription you can take time for it. Especially jungola and rimbula river is beautiful.

Zoo is disappointing, it does not think anything too modern

I think there are far fewer animals in the old zoo, but in the old place much nicer.

They have wonderful residences in terms of animals. Not many animals, but the animals that are there look very healthy and are very lively. Regarding the attractions, the park can only recommend removing them and providing the space that becomes available with even more beautiful accommodation for, for example, gorillas / panthers / reptiles or the like.

It is a beautiful park. The different continents were beautifully depicted. However, what I miss terribly is the possibility of being able to make a choice of vegetarian dishes in various places and in different places. Traveler's Taste that was specifically designated for this on the map has only three options. These can easily be expanded by enriching the kids' menu with cheese sucker and vegetable croquettes and also offering these menus in adult portions. In addition, none of us had a tasty meal. Unfortunately I have to conclude that I have never eaten so bad. Because of the ministry that was clearly not equipped for its task, we were unable to see part of the park. Thanks to the bank giro lottery, the entrance was easy to do, otherwise I would have found the price out of proportion. I advise everyone to bring their own lunch and snacks. Then you have a very nice day.

Beautiful park, animals in their own habitat! Clean, tidy, attentive staff with a love for their environment & guests. Recommended! From more often we go a day ....

The Wildlands Adventure Zoo is an excellent modern and atmospheric combination of an adventure park and a Zoo. There are at least three major settings in which the animals can thrive in semi-natural habitats: an arctic setting (Nortica), a savanah setting (Momma Dunia/Serenga) and a jungle environment in an heated hall (Jungola). Each of these themes has been worked out very well with extensive thematic decorations. Then there is an extensive indoor playground (Animazia), an outdoor Rollercoaster (Tweestrijd, which means something like "In Dubio") and an indoor animated thrill ride, and last but not least a nice boat ride in the Jungola dome. Throughout the park are a wide variety of sit-down restaurants and food truck style outlets, ensuring there is a continuous and varied offer of food and beverage. Two major gift shops make the thing complete. A couple of parking lots are surrounding the Zoo location. Tickets are not cheap, but worth it - moreover, there are quite often special offers through Wildland's own website, discount websites and Dutch lotteries such as the Postcode lottery.

Nice for a day out. Nice and extensive and due to the boat trip, the safari by bus, covered playground and the roller coaster also sufficiently distinctive compared to other parks.

Very nice animal park where the animals are given enough space. What is very nice are the attractions that are present per theme. For a visit to a zoo, this is a winner.

It was all in all a huge end walk but it was worth it.

Prima park om eens heen te gaan. Mooi decor en met de gebieden leuk opgezet. Helaas zijn de kijkmogelijkheden beperkt waardoor je niet altijd goed zicht op de dieren hebt.Tweestryd is een aanwinst, safari tocht en boottoer zijn geen aanraders.
Verwacht geen hele dag bezig te zijn, binnen 5 uurtjes hadden we het hele park al wel gezien. Daarnaast is het park zijn toegangsprijs niet waard, deze ligt te hoog

Nice zoo. Little over the top with all the attractions but that's great for the kids. There is a lot to do, you can easily spend a whole day here.

Wij vonden Wildlands ondanks de fraaie en ruime opzet een best wel prijzige tegenvaller. Het beperkte aantal dieren maakt Wildlands voor ons geen dierenpark en het beperkte aantal attracties maakt Wildlands voor ons ook geen pretpark. En de combinatie van die twee is een leuk idee, maar betekent voor ons geen meerwaarde. Kortom, het bezoek was aardig, duur en vooral veel lopen.
Maar ik kan me voorstellen dat Wildlands voor gezinnen met kids (vanaf een jaar of 6) een leuke bestemming is.

We did not like it that much. It just was not. We missed a lot of animals and in the animals where you had to go with a boat or a truck for example, it was extremely busy. With 2 small children you do not have to wait in line for an hour or more. In our eyes it does not make it to the old zoo of emmen by any means.
If I have the choice, I prefer to go to a different zoo than to wildlands

Het park is mooi gemaakt, je krijgt het idee ofdat je echt in andere landen loopt. Er zijn weinig dieren en er is weinig te doen. Veel stukken waar niks was. Ook kon je geen rondje lopen waardoor je 2x dezelfde route moest lopen. Jammer! Niet de moeite waard.

Het is meer een themapark geworden.erg mooi en de dieren hebben het er ook goed

Zoo Emmen completely renovated. Butterfly garden and indoor remained but outdoor part now thematically decorated with part safari part polar and part jungle. Very high-quality and beautifully decorated with an eye for detail. Staff very friendly and prices food and drinks ok. Also tasty sandwiches in addition to the traditional fries. Safari tour somewhat silly in terms of presentation, few animals and short waiting time. Advice: come as early as possible and avoid longer waiting times. It is no longer a classic - real zoo and many animals are sometimes not or only partially visible. Liked by the old train wagons as a walking route along the camel enclosure. Parking within walking distance but easily accessible. You can also pay 10 at the barrier.

Very nice zoo where you can really spend a full day with the children with ease. Beautiful butterfly garden, beautiful indoor playground, many indoor options, which is very pleasant in winter. The only downside is that the zoo is less educational, there are regularly missing signs with information about the animals.
The food and drink supply in the zoo is also well arranged with sufficient variety. In addition, there is the option to buy unlimited drinks, especially on hot summer days, which is an attractive option.

Become beautiful, the old park was beautiful but this is even more beautiful

Very nice, modern and spacious zoo. We had a great day with the family. Especially the butterflies and swimming elephants were great. The apartment buildings in the background were slightly less, a few large trees there would do wonders.

Been for the first time, busy Pentecost but that was no problem. Could see everything and everything except the polar bears, they did not show themselves. A park for young and old, definitely an adventure for children. You really walk among the animals in some places, the attractions are fun too. The aquariums were quite limited.

You can view everything in one day if you want, previous criticism of the park is well addressed. I live in the neighborhood of the park, so I have a subscription.

Nice zoo. May be slightly larger for the requested entrance fee. Many small positions closed in May holidays.

The "ice" part was very boring, had to wait a long time while there was ten minutes and there was also a children's show given that there was not the rest of the park I found great, nicely dressed and especially the savannah part was very nice

Nice park. Beautiful decor in the different themes. But I miss the animals. Large pieces without animals is clearly no longer a zoo.

Nice set up in three worlds. Just park with enough space to park. This is only a q park so not really cheap.

Leuk park om een keer gezien te hebben.
Met jonge kinderen is het een feest denk ik.
Je moet goed zoeken naar de vlinders, vogels en aapjes, bij ons zaten ze hoog in de bomen of tegen het dak..
Jammer dat de consumpties duur zijn. Wij troffen het niet bij het bestellen van een bakkie koffie, daar moesten wij 5 minuten op wachten door onervaren personeel, hoewel er 6 mensen achter de balie stonden.
Attracties zijn leuk om te doen.

Beautifully set up 'zoo', according to the latest concepts. With a safari park, a boat trip, spacious animal enclosures, entertainment for children and lots of information. Fun for young and old. Penguins and prairie dogs that can be touched practically. One of the nicest zoos I have ever visited.

Beautiful zoo differently, nicer in design than other Dutch zoos. The drinks and food are very affordable. Friendly people.

Is it a zoo or an amusement park. Is it really nice to go over the pool in a kind of virtual thing and look at the (virtual) animals. As a zoo really deteriorated. Amusement park enthusiasts probably like it. Not for me after 2 visits. Not even for our kids.
