Fewer animals than before. Made nicer for the kids.

Looks nice but found it a bit disappointing. Had expected more. They must have a bit of the attractions. While it is a zoo and not an amusement park

Nicely laid out. Due to the large living space, some animals were hard to see. Tour with a truck full of passengers was disappointing. Very long wait for a very skinny ride.

Great combination of theme park and zoo. Plenty of animals, not many exclusive ones but the ones that are there, great to see. A few attractions that can be quite fun especially the 'tweestrijd' is a great Rollercoaster.

No walking direction in the restaurant. No clear queue when ordering food. Everyone is waiting for food right on top of each other. Staff walks through it, wearing a vest 1.5 meters. But run into you. Maybe bring food back to the table, as it was before?

We enjoyed .. the park is great .. after 2 hours of driving started with good coffee.The park is divided into three there is a cart over the park that was disappointing .. but the boat was wonderfully relaxing with beautiful waterfalls, greenery and monkeys in the trees
All in all a must .. enough places to eat e.e.a.Een had a nice nice day.

Super beautiful decoration, lots to see and experience !! My kids 5 and 9 yrs really enjoyed it !! A lot of walking but that means the animals have more space, and there were fewer animals than the old ones, but you don't miss them. The most beautiful of the 3 worlds was tropical ... we found nordica on the film after a bit of disappointment

Interesting combination of zoo and entertainment. A rollercoaster in a zoo, quite something. Best attraction is the boat ride in the middle of the jungle. Such a neat integration between the animals and the other attractions.

In 1 word GREAT !! Beautiful zoo. The themes are very nicely built. Seems like you are really walking in the jungle or walking through Africa !! All animals are loose .. and are NOT locked in small boxes. Entrance is all-in all playgrounds and car ride and boat trip etc etc. Many benches and chairs to rest or eat. REAL TRAVELER!

Fantastic park, from the beginning subscription holder. Have seen it grow and bloom. It is getting better and we do not get bored. We make the most beautiful pictures here!

Nice zoo, especially on such a beautiful, fresh day as today. Definitely recommended for families with children.

I think I think this is one of the most beautiful zoos in the Netherlands. You can have a great time here. Extensive route and lots of entertainment for the children. There is a lot of information about the animals and there is plenty to learn.

Everything is brought in a nice way. Route information is also clear. I can't say anything about the restaurant, because we skipped it.

We went there with mixed feelings because there was a lot of negative about it. Less animals that have themes in park and park design made us have a great day.

Was nice and spacious also for the animals there, and they were helpful and friendly despite the agitation of the people.

Zoo is beautifully renovated and very nicely decorated for children. There is something to do everywhere.
Toilet areas are neatly maintained and clean. Changing rooms for children almost everywhere. In the restaurants there are possibilities to heat up a bottle or snack for children.
Prices are reasonable.

Today I went to Wildlands. Superb. Super nice laid out in one word fantastic !!!

Park is neatly laid out and care has been taken. A pity is the lack of logic and or clear route. Children can collect stamps. End of the day # 0 stamps. From the eyes of the child not noticed so .... Wc was also looking. So good preparation is therefore desirable.

Beautiful zoo, spacious layout, plenty of food and beverage options. Enough playgrounds where the children can enjoy themselves.

Expensive park/zoo with identity crisis.

Pros:
- Has some nice ideas. Combining themed rides in a zoo environment. I liked the up and close petting zoo, guinea pig and ground hog areas.

- Large indoor playground for kids.

Cons:
- Not nearly enough variety in animals! Has the bare minimum. Maybe 5-10% of species compared to Burgers Zoo.

- Ticket price is way too high! I think they are charging way too much compared to competitors. Especially considering it feels like the park is not finished.

- Food, toys and souvenirs are sold about every 50 meters. This may not be a con on its own, but it feels like they are milking for cash which is scummy considering the admission fee and the fact that the park lacks a lot of real content (mainly animals).

- Information is extremely limited. There should be more info about the animals. Now they just refer you to an app you can download, which feels cheap. Information on the ride times is plain terrible. There's not a timetable or waiting time indication outside of Arctic 1 for example. I told the employees that would probably be a good idea because nobody had a clue if it was even open! He told me it "was a very good suggestion". I mean common, this is just common sense!

In short:
If you want to visit to see animals. Don't go here, but visit Burgers Zoo (for example)! Cheaper, much more animal variety and far superior on info.

Kids will probably have a good time here, because there is big indoor playground and the park is more Disney like in its presentation. Small stories get told. Then again, if you want to show them/teach them about animals, you should go someplace else.

Nice zoo with enough activities for children. Fighting is also fun to do. I also like the themes of jungola, nortica and serenga. The boat trip in jungola is fun but short. The serenga safari is also highly recommended. You just drive between the animals. You see them nicely up close. Furthermore enough toilets and restaurants. So great day out.

I thought it was a disappointment.
It is that we had free tickets .. otherwise I would not have talked about it

What a beautiful park 1 day is almost too little to be able to see everything properly

Very nice park. The 3 worlds are made very beautiful.

We have been there for the 5th time today, but it is still just as fun as the first time we were there. Not too busy, so all animals can watch and take a lot of pictures. We find it a very nice and beautiful park, and go there with pleasure.

Had a wonderful day with young (11 years) and old (89 years with walker). Lots to see, lots to do and everything well organized! Recommended!

Wildlands thinks too big, too many restaurants. Lion, catering, elephant and weather restaurants, penguins and restaurants. 3 routes, that is fun, you always return to the starting point. The safari in converted buses is really a joke. The guide does not have an A4 sheet of text because before you can sit well you can already get out of it. Think of something else. Many visitors will still remember the old familiar zoo that was very well known ... Wildlands is very short, it is not a zoo anymore and that is exactly what people want. Sorry .. The free tickets compensated for the car trip but not worth repeating.

Super designed zoo, great enclosures (except for elephants) with lots of games for kids. Highly recommended

Beautiful zoo much to see and do, decoration is also very beautiful and detailed work done. Great indoor play and climbing hall for big and small. And divided by the zoo smaller play equipment and 1 somewhat larger climbing bridge.

Ik vond het een geweldig park.
Ruimte voor de diertjes ...ontzettend veel oog voor detail in de aankleding van de verschillende zone's.
In elk hoekje of gaatje is wel iets geplaatst of gehangen wat met die zone te maken heeft.
Super gewoon...zou er zelf willen wonen als dier...kunnen andere parken een puntje aan zuigen

Let op: dit is geen park om doorheen te banjeren ...neem de tijd om om je heen te kijken.
Kijk op de plattegrond welke dieren actief zijn rond welke tijd anders kan het inderdaad zijn dat je sommige dieren niet ziet (net zoals in de natuur)

Nice park with nice variety of animals and attractions

In itself a nice park, with many options for parent and child. Minus points, in my opinion, is that your subscription does not show the date until which it is valid. You must call after that.
Also for the evening opening up at Christmas and now, was talked about images of the Noorderlicht. This suggests that this phenomenon would be shown in a film. Less is true !! Many things are presented more beautifully than they are, which is definitely not necessary! A realistic picture gives a better expectation pattern!
It is a pity that no cup of coffee is served in Animazia, while as a parent or grandparent you often stay quite long there, when the children play!

Nice zoo but much pressure in this corona time. Despite all the good efforts of the organization, keeping the distance of one and a half meters proves hardly feasible, also due to the behavior of the visitors.

Unfortunately for the animals, but this park won't make it.

Nice park and really many animals. Only very busy and no paths that connect with the other sections so that everyone ends up in a trap with incoming and outgoing audiences. Don't think about any danger or anything, panic! Please adjust for everyone's safety. Here and there also narrow paths where people push and push. Long lines for the restaurants because everyone wants to drink coffee and tea all day for 7.50 and always have extra drinks. Some toilets can also be extended somewhat, whether you make two doors or four and three urinals or six that won't cost you the cup.
Nice park anyway but I will not be back until the hoos is over, somewhere in the winter or something.

Very nicely built, design-technically it looks fine. Safari section the best to walk through. The boat and the safari were amazingly fun to do. Few animals seen, partly due to bad weather.
Downsides - often the sides along the road are so high that you don't see anything, the points where you do see something are busy.
A second point is that music. That can really be different, because if you start paying attention it will drive you crazy. The same annoying music everywhere.
Third - the flyers are a puzzle and themselves, the signage to the park is unclear, and the signage in the park is also hard to find. It is not difficult to get lost, there are no cards where you are, there are no times of feeding, the times of 'shows' are also unclear.
Oh we were very sorry that there were no more signs at the plants and trees. What kind of etc. Maybe not fit the theme park image, but that is not so obvious? And very nice for those who find that interesting.
As a final point of improvement we have the shop, which was always nice with the previous version, now it was really mass production. Nothing to it. Where was the elephant poo?
All in all a nice outing, especially for children it is a true adventure, although it is a long walk to see a few animals. Ideal for catching up?

Zo weer eens een review plaatsen.

Vorige week woensdag maar weer eens naar de dierentuin en Wildlands leek ons een leuk dagje uit. Het weer zat wat tegen maar een drupje regen mag de pret niet drukken.

Maar oejj wat een hoop wespen zijn er in het park aanwezig, wordt door het personeel vrij weinig meegedaan. Om ons heen heb ik meerdere mensen horen klagen dat ze gestoken werden door de wespen. Is denk toch wel een aandachtspuntje.

Verder had ik het idee dat ik meer planten en versieringen aan het park heb gezien dan dat ik daadwerkelijk dieren heb gezien. De vlindertuin was daarentegen wel heel erg gaaf en daarvoor zou ik zeker nog een keer terugkomen.

Expectations were high, partly due to the opening in the publicity.
However, the 'overall' for adults was in any case disappointing, it is that we had free tickets, otherwise I am afraid that we had never visited Wildlands with the knowledge of nowadays.

Animals stay in beautiful lodgings, and the park is pretty well set up, but I find the unconnected theme areas less pleasant.

I also miss green, we come from the south and regularly visit Gaia Zoo, this park feels "warmer". Can hardly put my finger on it.

All in all a great day, but unfortunately not recommended.

Beautiful animal park where a lot of work has been put in and with a good vision. I personally find the price tag justifiable if you consider what a work and costs are associated with this park. Especially the large indoor jungle is really admirable! I hope that people give this park a chance and that it can continue to grow over the years.

Despite the bad reviews glad we went! Great park! Lots to see and experience, even in winter and also for adults only. Recommended!

Wildlands is a very beautiful park. You can see lots of animals up close and it is really adventurous for young and old. Highly recommended!!!

Mijn nieuwe favoriete dierentuin! Prachtige verblijven voor de dieren, leuk aangekleed, mogelijk om een deel van het park te doen ipv verplicht hele park door moeten lopen. Leuke attracties voor kinderen.

Beautiful spacious park with respect for the animals, where their own natural environment is imitated beautifully. For young children, Jungle Jim's performance is very nice and the boat trip in jungle and train in Serengetti. Gave attractions including Arctic1 and rollercoaster Tweestrijd. Top!

Beautiful zoo, the most beautiful zoo I've been to in ages. Nice that there are many parts where you walk between the animals. The animals also have a lot of space and are well cared for.

Pretty nice zoo. 2 min points. First, the lions got prey and that was a shetland shame that the shetlander was unrecognizable. Maybe make it unrecognizable. Secondly the giraffe that was stuck in the house had to wait quite a long time for liberation. Furthermore, had a nice day.

Great experience! It is much more than a zoo. Also a beautiful area to walk around. And the animals are having a good time. Beautifully decorated. A nice park. In the large greenhouses, many animals walk and fly around freely. We were there on the busiest evening of the year and even dt was very bad, there are so many corners and terraces and indoor activities that you do not really notice the crowds. The on-site catering industry is pretty decent. We really enjoyed it!

Is and remains one of the best and most beautiful zoos I have ever visited.

Absolute price for a park that is just not a zoo and just not an amusement park. Nicely designed playground with some animals. Lots of waiting, little educational, little entertainment. And everything is too expensive. In a park (amusement park or zoo) things can cost a bit more. But with an entrance that is comparable to efteling (in practice it is even more expensive because the efteling always has a discount somewhere) and catering that is simply more expensive than the efteling (bottle of water: efteling 2 euros, wildlands 3 euros!). Totally drunk. You don't want to go here until somewhere the penny drops that prices really have to go down considerably. A nice day out may cost a lot, but a more than entertaining half day out? Well no ... Eg Burgers zoo is then considerably more fun for no less than 10 euros per person less (and somewhat normal hospitality prices). A total mystery to me why people go here at all ....

Nice setup, nice park, but if you want to go somewhere where people keep 1.5 meters away from you then you've come to the wrong place. Way too busy and people don't pay any attention.

Tis nice and cozy but they must do what was within 5 minutes and was stabbed to wasps

A lot of 'stone' and 'rocks' and still too little green. Most beautiful is the 'Jungola' with, among others, 2 young elephants

Day visit in August. A lot of visitors in good weather. Extensive terrain. Child-friendly, enough parking space available.

Despite the beautiful surroundings I found it boring the animals were almost impossible to see the parking lot is very far away and also expensive as the entrance fee if you are 2.30 row it is an expensive getaway

Entrance fee is fully justified, the park is huge and there is plenty to see. Ideal for families with children! Parking is a bit confusing but adequate. The location is awesome, right in the city center. Highly recommended!
