Beautiful zoo / amusement park. Actually the nicest I have ever seen.

What a great park with a great experience. Everything has been well thought out and fits very well together. The environment and the details give you a feeling that you are really in that part of the world. Before you enter the park you have to get rid of the idea that you are visiting a traditional animal park. The combination of animal park and amusement park is very innovative and fun. Of course there are small things to notice about the park but are not noteworthy and easy to solve. We have visited the park with our children aged 3 and 4 years. The walking distance is decent for them but did not spoil the fun. Absolute must.

This park is really great! Beautifully shaped rock formations and planting. The animals have a lot of space. You completely imagine yourself in a different world. Been there with the whole family. Costs something, but then you also have something.

Different from an average zoo, but it is therefore quite unique. Clear themes that the park shares in 3 and. Just a pity about the roller coaster, which in my opinion does not really fit.

Super cute zoo with roller coaster, children's playground and other interactive attractions. Beautiful and spacious. In the winter many animals are inside, including the hippos, but you can still admire them from very close by via backstage. Also, not all restaurants are open in winter and some attractions only part of the day. Still highly recommended. The parking is way too expensive, now 10 euros per day.

There is no sign to the wildlands from the parking lot and there are countless ways to go wrong.
Sea lion show ten-curling childish, so only for children. Furthermore, it is a very nice animal park.

Very nice zoo. Animals have beautiful spacious enclosures and can still be seen very well. Wonderful day out. Nice to take photos.

Have tickets scanned on your mobile upon arrival. We had to indicate the time at which we wanted to enter the course. Having waited a while to let everyone enter the park properly, we started our visit to wildlands. All walking directions are neatly marked and staff try to take the crowds into account. Unfortunately, you cannot escape the fact that people walk against the direction that wildlands cannot help. People really have to do this themselves. We also enjoyed this beautiful park despite the corona measures.

Decent evening out. The night visit in winter had its own charm however I've not been to it in the day. Allegedly the largest in Holland or something along those lines; it's big but not That big. The animal varieties are less of an attraction than the whole set up in itself with different world climates such as Jungle being a section of the park.

Good sealion show, poor magic show (notwithstanding the language barrier), decent mini roller coaster (go on both tracks, they differ slightly with the right hand side being better) which you can seemingly go on as many times as you want.. also a mini boat ride (on a track really on water) which takes you to see the elephants.

All in all not a bad night out even for 3 adult lads - excellent for kids and especially in Emmen as there is literally nothing else aside from the football stadium (which we all watched a game at).

Het ziet er allemaal mooi uit , maar daar houdt het ook bij op. Weinig dieren en veel plaats voor natuur. De werelden zijn bijna afgesloten van elkaar waardoor je steeds terug moet naar het begin om andere werelden te zien. Dat vind ik jammer (anders staat niet aangegeven op de kaart qua looppaden). Verder vind de achtbaan wel tof alleen past het niet in dit park, de boottocht had ik ook meer van verwacht. verdere attracties niet gedaan.

Als ik een cijfer zou moeten geven zou dit uitkomen op een 6,5 ...

Geweldig park. Voor kinderen genoeg te doen. Onze dochter 3 en 5 vermaken zich prima. Bij mooi weer kan het druk zijn maar prop maar eens 14000 man in de oude dierentuin dan had je ook niets gezien en het had niet eens gepast.
Paar weken terug met de bewoners van Huize wezup naar de dierentuin geweest. Allemaal ouderen in rolstoelen. Prima te doen geen moeilijkheden en ze zijn zelfs in de boottocht geweest.
Het is maar wat je er zelf van verwacht. Ja je moet geluk hebben dat de dieren actief zijn maar die kun je moeilijk sturen. Des te mooier als de ijsberen in het water spelen, nijlpaarden in het water spelen en alle dieren actief zijn.

The park was really beautiful. The best description is an amusement park combined with a zoo. The lofts / habitats of the animals are very spacious and beautifully designed. Furthermore, the park is divided into different areas that each have a different theme. You have the African Serengeti, the cold nortica and the wild game of the jungle. Each of these areas also includes a major attraction such as a roller coaster or boat trip. There is also plenty of entertainment for the little ones in the indoor climbing park. Really recommended

Prachtig park..maar het bleek wintertijd.dan blijken er minder attracties open, maar voor dezelfde prijs. Enkele delen van het oark waren al om 13 uur gesloten. Geen Antarctica, geen film, geen treintje. Enkele dieren konden we in het hok bekijken. Toen we wat wilden eten moesten we bijna een uur op de bestelling wachten. En ook nog niet eens echt lekker. We gaven feedback bij het kantoor. Sorry dan, zei de meneer die onderhand druk bezig was met andere activiteiten.
Ik weet niet of dit promotie is voor een park waar het toch al niet ze denderend mee gaat.

Wildlands has tried to become a combination between an amusement park and a zoo. I do not think that is a fine combination. It is not the case at all.
Huge distances because of the larger surface, but fewer animals. Instead, vague attractions, such as in a lorry a small round about the savannah. Had the savannah been made visible from all sides, it would have been possible to save the purchase of expensive items.
Huge high entrance fee.
An eatery every 100m.
I would have preferred that this money was invested in a greater diversity of animals.

Top park, and not as standard as most zoos. It is a pity that so little account is taken of the foreign guests. Have not seen info boards or id anywhere in English, French or German.

Very nice zoo. Nicely set up. They now had Wildnights, where they are open in the evening. All nice eateries, zoo lit and cozy pressure. Super fun activities and very exciting for the children (4 and 6 years).

The principle is . There is still a lot to improve on the decoration. Price is high, especially in combination with Q parking.

Super nice park! Good addition to the animals and they have plenty of space! Lots of food / drink / candy / ice cream tents and luckily no Organic food hassle! We enjoyed it and will definitely be back! You go Wildlands !!

Geweldige dierentuin! Het dierentuin doet zijn naam "adventure zoo" eer aan. Het park is ruim opgezet. Mijn tip is om de tijd te nemen en het park te leren kennen. Je kunt bijvoorbeeld zo het tweede deel van Jungola (buiten bij de olifanten) te snel doorlopen. Dan denk je dat je alleen de olifanten ziet, maar vergeet niet het bamboe doolhof (en op de terugweg de hut met handafdrukken) mee te nemen en tijd te nemen bij de aapjes. De aapjes slingeren zo over je hoofd, vooral bij mooi weer.

Eenmaal binnen in Jungola, zijn er ook veel dieren die los te bewonderen zijn. Zo kunnen de maki's zo over je hoofd heen slingeren of ze zitten lekker te knuffelen in de boom. En kijk eens tussen de begroeiing. Wat is dat nou? Een kip? Het bootje in Jungola is natuurlijk geweldig. Zo kom je super dichtbij de olifanten. Vergeet ook niet even te klimmen en over de touwbruggen Jungola te verkennen. Eventueel op de helft naar beneden en dan via de stapstenen over het water terug. Belevenis ten top!

Serenga is net zo. Kijk verder dan het vaste looppad. Door de hele dierentuin zijn diverse adventure routes, die je laten klimmen, klauteren of gewoon lopen dwars door de begroeiing. De pinguins, wallaby's en woestijnratjes lopen gewoon over het pad. De achtbaan is ook leuk en ik vind het een aanvulling op het park. Vanuit de lucht een blik over het park en het maakt de sensatie compleet. Geen zin in de achtbaan? die loop je makkelijk voorbij. Loop door de treinwagonnen langs de kamelen in de woestijn. Wellicht schuurt er nog een kameel tegen de wagon! :)

Neem de tijd, kijk verder dan alleen het normale pad. Je bent gewend om het reguliere looppad aan te houden (andere dierenparken en oude dierenpark), maar dit is een adventure zoo. Onze jonge rangers vinden het geweldig! Wij hebben te weinig tijd om alles te zien op 1 dag. Niets klein dus! Geweldige dierentuin. Ik hoop dat ze het gaan redden.

Especially with children a fantastic park. What an experience! Unlike other parks, you are guided here in all three worlds along all the animals, while the environment allows you to fully immerse yourself in the spheres that belong to those worlds. Recommended!

De eerste keer dat we er waren was het een mega belevenis, dus we gingen nog een keer, maar net voor covid...dat was een bittere tegenvaller, geen kraampje open, bijna niets te krijgen maar wel de volle mep af tikken dus nu niet meer

Nice zoo, very spacious. Here the animals have a good life, not in (too small) pens but simply in all the space. Now in the winter period you can even look behind the scenes. Nice to see too. Highly recommended!

Great as here animals and other attractions are presented! A visit is absolutely worth it - admission is fully adequate!

Beautiful park.
The jungle area is the madness and there is nothing to complain about.
The serangeti area is okay, for me unfortunately only too spacious.
The Alaska area is, in my opinion, too small compared to the other two areas.
On the whole, however, everything is perfectly fine, the animals seem to be fine :)

Animal park where you can experience the animals in their "own" environment. During a nice walk through the park you can observe and sometimes experience the many animal species.

Nice experience. It has been a long time since I was there recently, she has rebuilt a grand and built the park in a nice style. However, some animals do not have much room.

Beautiful zoo with beautiful enclosures for the animals. Is all well maintained. The only thing you have to give time is the vegetation. When it is reasonably mature, you have a beautiful environment.

we zijn er geweest maar dat is dan ook alles , zeer rolstoel onvriendelijk met de paden waar alleen maar frutsels zijn ingemaakt je zit de hele dag te trillen hierdoor , dus ook niet lekker voor kids die in kinderwagens liggen of zitten
verder is het echt een stuk slechter dan de oude dierentuin , oke de dieren hebben dan meer natuurlijke ruimte maar voor een dierentuin een zeer beperkt aan bod aan dieren ook een groot stuk met geiten ????? die zie ik op de kinderboederij ook
al met al echt geen 30 euro waard jammer maar helaas de eerste en gelijk de laatste keer
jammer geen emmen meer terwijl we de oude dierentuin elk jaar bezochten en nu speciaal een centerparks in de buurt geboekt hadden omdat de reis heen en terug naar huis een paar uur is
geen aanrader ik ga voortaan wel dichter bij huis naar de dierentuin

Kaartje reserveren want corona. Vervolging als vee op elkaar in het park. Dat had ik niet verwacht.

Such a fun and beautiful animal park ..! Been 2x there and enjoyed both times with my kids. The is also laughing .. In short, go there nice and you have a very nice day

Dierentuin nieuwe stijl. Dieren afgewisseld met attracties. Leuk om tussen de dieren door te rijden en te varen.
Verdeeld in drie delen. Jammer dat het buiten te koud was voor de leeuwen.
Nijlpaarden binnen bekijken met uitleg van enthousiaste vrijwilliger.

In itself a great park. Walking routes are not always logical everywhere. Cannot give 3.5 stars, otherwise I would have done that.

Best zoo so far! Animals have nice spacious enclosures, nice varied activities, so that instead of being just a zoo and an adventure park. Very neat and tidy, also with an eye for detail!

Find that it is a beautiful city in the Netherlands. A visit to the remarkable Wildlife Adventure Zoo is highly recommended.

We were there on a Monday outside of school holidays, so nice and quiet. When it is busy you cannot see or do many things. I thought it was a nice park, many places where you can eat, drink and wash your hands. But as with any park, it is quite pricey

Mooie dierentuin met ruime verblijven voor de dieren. Heerlijk om er een dagje rond te lopen.

It has become more of an adventure park. Fewer animals but more attention for the presentation. Also very much for children and young people.

2 adults & 3 kids (9, 11, 13) had a great day.
Sure, there is still room for improvement, but the park offers enough variety for young and old.
It is pricey, but it will have to be earned back somewhere.
Will come back again for sure.

The animals have never been so close to you, because some animals can enter the path your walking.

Not my favorite, give me the old zoo. Bottomless pit that municipality is taking over. The tax-paying resident of Emmen will pay for it again.

Super animal park, children enjoy immensely. Especially nice in nice weather. Nice walking route through the park. Not too big. Restaurants for reasonable prices in various places. Parking is affordable.
