If it happens once, remember that the ladies can do nothing about it. But also that an animal needs a little more attention and time, next time it is you and you are happy that your animal gets the right attention.
Veterinarians are very skilled and because there are several, they usually have their own specialties. Dentist, birds, reptiles, cats you name it. Compared to a few years ago, they have become CHEAPER.
There is also a hospital for animals, known from TV. Continue to the rear also for emergencies after opening hours.
For my animals there is only 1 place if they are not tasty and of course the annual annual MOT

People will be quite skilled here, but in my personal taste far too commercial.

There will probably be people who want a plaster footprint of their deceased parakeet (as we were offered when we had to put the animal to sleep on the spot) and it is quite a sympathetic gesture to receive a handwritten strength card afterwards, but as far as I'm concerned this is all going a bit too far and the prices are also there: just under 100 euros for a consultation in which a parakeet was put to sleep.

We were able to go there on Saturday, which did not go to our local vet and which certainly had an influence on the price.

My cat had been hit and her pelvis had shifted so much that she needed surgery. This operation (which they do not even perform there themselves) offered the Veterinary Clinic the Langstraat for 1500 euros. I had my cat operated on for less than 900 euros. Just want to indicate that it pays to look further, because this clinic really asks for the main prize.

Went to this clinic for a second opinion. Our dog was very sick. Not eating and listless for almost 2 months. Our own veterinarian first thought of poisoning. The second time to a nervous dog and the third time to laxation. Dog became more and more sick and lost a lot of weight. In this clinic a photo was taken immediately and a blood test was done ....... there was a pebble with a diameter of almost 3 cm in her small intestine. She has had surgery and everything is going well now! All praise for the approach, transparency and care!

Because we were told in the first instance that our dog had ailments associated with his age. After a week he had gotten paralysis. It turned out that he had tumors and that his blood values were poor. So sad news.

They had puppies that were just born, placed under an air conditioner after which they almost died ... in the evening rush for hypothermia phenomena assigned to them again under air conditioner in waiting room and then after 15 minutes of waiting and then air conditioner again focused on puppies ... quite angry official complaint filed and everything was pushed off why I am angry responded could not be by the bracket if again would come to me would be denied access to animal clinic ... but the complaint itself was not done .. because an air conditioner according to them focusing on newly born puppies is nowhere in the law that that is not allowed or good js I was told, and with that the complaint was rejected to the trash ... We went to Ushi with our dog yesterday because she couldn't pee. Wanted to send me home with antibiotics. After insisted photo made and emptied by puncture bladder. Only an extremely large bladder. Anyway an echo (why not an echo). She appeared to have a tumor of 1.1 cm x 1.7 cm at her bladder outlet and had to fall asleep. She had just blown her last breath and then they immediately started talking about the bill. No sympathy, 2 men in front of us as if we were criminals. No concept that we as a couple with social assistance benefits could not pay just 376.50. We immediately had to pay a substantial amount otherwise we would not be allowed to take our dog home. It was also said literally: "If I had known this I would have done nothing".
