Benedict eggs with Swiss chess and creps strawberry cream are my favorite.

Loved the food, the refillable coffee, selecting your own condiments. Maybe because I'm a lady who likes control, but this place was awesome. No frills, just delicious food.

Lots of selections on the menu. Order at the counter then the food is brought to your table. Good size portions of food. There are a few tables on patio outside.

This Restaurant is Cedar Hills little secret. Talk about great food, professional staff, curbside pickup. You will not be disappointed. Food is homestyle like going to grandma house and everyone sitting down for a delicious meal. As you can tell I love this place and you will too.

My gf and I went for bfast after work. It was really good. Please try the banana french toast and big mess. We really enjoyed it. We will def go back. U order at the counter and bring it to your table. There were lot of locals.

We ended up at Dicks because IHOP was packed and taking forever. It was amazing. We were in a group of about 8 and everyone enjoyed there meal.

Best hashbrowns mess I have ever had. "Great Big Mess" was awesome. Meat, eggs and hashbrowns. One time in your life - go for the Mess. Down to earth place, love it. Service is amazing. Very busy and very popular.

The chorizo in the Mexican original mess was raw. The biscuit looked good but was hard as a rock, hard to chew and tasted old. Definitely not worth the price.

This place came highly recommended for breakfast. Judging from all the pictures it looked amazing. First my fav thing was yme hot chocolate. It was perfectly sweet and delicious! every thing was really yummy except for the biscuit. There was a slight after taste and it was kinda hard. But besides that I totally cleaned my plate. The pancakes were super fluffy and buttery . Definitely will be back!

This is one of my most favorite breakfast places in the area. The food is yummy and the coffee is plentiful. When I moved to the area, I wanted to find a breakfast spot that I could look forward to on the weekends. My advice is to get there early! The line can get out the door sometimes (This is a place your order and pay first and they bring your food to your table)!

I really like their pancakes and french toast. My foodie friends, my salad loving mom, my picky hsband, and everyone we know really likes coming here. Lots to recommend it, and my best friend loves grabbing a dinner from their freezer section. I'm not crazy about their waffles because they're malty, but that's only against my personal tastes. Great local place!!

An underrated gem of Cedar Hill. The staff is so friendly and the food never disappoints. I always come here whenever I m in town.

Perfect name for this place! Absolute worse place to go to. Visiting from out of town and had our hearts set on a good homecooked breakfast. We waited in line for 15 to place our order, Then waited another hour and still did not receive our food. We brought it to the waitress attention and she said it was the next one up. Waited another 15 min and still no food. Brought it to a different waiters attention and he said they have no order when selecting tickets to cook and he would personally bring our food. Waited another 15 min and waiter came back and said they couldn't even find our ticket! Hour and half later still sitting there. No manager or owner came to apologize, offer a discount or anything. We demanded a refund and they were quick to give it to us and let us be on our way. I have never written a review about any place but this was the worst experience I have ever had. Do not go eat at this place! They say they have been in business 40 years but i dont see how with such horrible service! We ended up going to ihop down the street and got a better deal. Save your time and go some place else.

Always busy, always fast, always delicious and fresh! I get the Texas French Toast every time, and mix it up with soup or fruit.

I cannot say anything about the food. Didn't even have an opportunity to try it. When my wife and I got there, there was a line, so I had her go grab a table. One of the employees came up to her and asked if she had ordered. She told her that I was in line ordering for us. They told her she could not sit at a table if she had not ordered. It was incredibly rude and we will never try and eat here again.

In respone to owner: there were ZERO signs that me and my wife saw while we were there. I believe it that you have it in fine print somewhere, but not "big signs". Also, telling a customer to "cool down" is really rude. I was frustrated, sure, because the customer service was terrible. You responding like this just confirms what I already thought. What did you intend to do when my wife and I got our food and had no place to sit? Make us stand and wait? Make us stand and eat?

I went this morning for breakfast our first time trying this place let me tell you it is probably one of the best mom and pop place in dfw i TIRED the big mess plate chorizo and sausage I highly recommend that plate I can give this place at 10 plus Stars- definitely coming back

I thought I would try this place because I love chicken and waffles. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. But the chicken and waffles were awful. The waffles had no taste and the chicken strips tasted as if they had been cooked in old grease. And I did order a cup of coffee, and it was bad too. I cant recommend this spot.

Delicious! I got the Mushroom and Spinach option with poached eggs, bacon, and English muffin under "The Whole Mess" category. Each item was prepared well and complemented the whole dish! Fantastic pecan pie, served warm with whipped cream on the side.

This was my first time eating here,I had pancakes,bacon, hash browns with grilled onions,coffee and water .It was good!

Seating arrangement is the main reason I give it low ratings. I shouldn t have to order and pay for my food, HOPING there will be some place to sit . If you hold a table, they will ask you to get up even if your other party members are in line placing orders. Very infuriating and ass backwards. I should be seated or at least be given a table, THEN order. That s why I stick with the standard chains.
