Excellent service. Quick service. Fresh food, scratch kitchen, breakfast served until 2 pm. Perfect size portions. Healthy options.

The cultural center in Cedar Hill you simply must go to Dick's Uptown Cafe if you want to step into a Norman Rockwell painting. I personally really like their bacon breakfast burrito! I realize that that doesn't sound very Norman Rockwell, butt, It's still amazing!

It's I nice little cafe for breakfast. The food is not amazing but it's a nice place to sit and chat with a friend over dinner.

The corned beef hash was not quit grilled enough, but was a good flavor. The French toast was good.

This place has a large variety of breakfast options and I love the food. But the problem is finding a seat after you've order your food.

I always enjoy eating here. Food is awesome. Clean and friendly staff. I love how diverse it is. From the workers to the consumers. Your food is cooked fresh so on busy days the wait is a little long.

My favorite is the omelettes, grits, hash browns, pancakes and Rubens sandwhich. My plan is to try something different each time.

Way to expensive for a bad BLT, chips, and a soft drink. Some of my friends ordered other things that looked good. I think it depends upon what you order.

I love this place!! Great breakfast, always good! Bring cash to tip your waitress, they don't ask you if you want to tip when checking out!

Delicious food!! Perfect for brunch. It gets crowded quick and the area is small, but we had no issue finding a table. The food was prepared quickly and service was excellent. A great spot; we will definitely be returning!

I really love the place. Great service and amazing food. Only problem is extremely busy on Saturday mornings, and there are barely any places to sit.

I love Dick's. He and his family are the sweetest people and always make you feel at home. Their menu is always changing and it's like stepping into your mom's kitchen to get a homemade meal. Breakfast is wonderful and you're usually guaranteed to run into someone you know, and just because you're both eating at Dick's, you'll more than likely get a big hug and a smile.

Props to the cook, great tasting food and allot of it. Well worth the money.

Services poor, do not ask the client, often serve staff ahead of clients, ,if there are optional items u get the cheapest . Buyer beware!!

Not my type of food. Tried and didn't like it would have a hard time spending the money to try it again.

It was my first time at Dick's but it won't be my last. If your claustrophobic, this might not be the place for you. It is small. People sit in close proximity to each other.

The food was delicious. I ordered a breakfast burrito and pancakes. Both tasted as if they were cooked with love.

It is certainly a must try if you're in the area. Expect a decent sized line on a Sunday.

Atmosphere was nice i ordered the #3 which is 2 eggs toast and corn beef and hash, so much onion couldnt eat it! Wish they would offered it without onion or put it in the menu that it comes with onions

Saturday Breakfast
We love eating breakfast at Dicks. We love the service and the food. I love the omelets and hubby usually gets the mess

Great first impression! I brought my family for the first time and we all enjoyed the food and family atmosphere! To see my kids sitting quietly and focused on their food says alot.

Five stars great breakfast. They need a larger cafe, too small for Cedar Hill. People in large line, place order, and cannot sit, no tables available. Cafe has a sign you cannot get out of line to reserve a table.

Me and the wife go here for breakfast after church on Sundays. Foods good, excellent customer service and its really no wait to be seated, given the unique order, take a number concept. Best spot in Cedar Hill for the locals or the out if towners

Fantastic food! Great family-owned atmosphere, and unique menu. I got the veggie mess, teril style, and it was incredible. Very fast order-to-table, and I especially loved the fresh flowers on every table. We'll definitely make the trek from Waxahachie more often for this place!

This place has the most amazing food the line is always out the door but the service is very fast and polite.

Chicken fajita omelet was huge and delicious. Best coffee in Town. Never had a bad meal here. Best to go early, especially on Saturday.

I always order the banana bread french toast. It is my favorite!

We've been here twice. Both times on a Sunday around 11ish.

The first time: we were in and out fairly quickly and the food was ok... not fantastic (everyone's palate is different), but worth giving a different item a try.

The second time: the line was halfway to the door and the tables were mostly full. We did not expect to wait almost 45 minutes for our food (no one at the counter mentioned a wait) and definitely didn't expect to be barked at when inquiring (at the thirty minute mark) about what was taking so long (because we could see orders piling up on the warmer!). Had we not already paid and waited this long, we would have left.
When we finally did get our food it was meh and lukewarm (shocker, right?!). We ate, left, and will continue our search for a great breakfast place elsewhere.

If you expect a long wait for lukewarm food that tastes like every other diner (nothing special) you won't be disappointed like we were.

The food is delicious, the atmosphere is excellent and the staff...very friendly and courteous. My favorite meal is the club sandwich with extra bacon...to die for.

The breakfast was extremely tasty! I had the original mess with a buttermilk pancake instead toast or English muffin. Very flavorful to me! It comes with a side of sauce that I didn't really have to use. I will visit this place again in the future!

I was in a car wreck 3 days ago I went to sit down as my husband was at the counter ordering. She told me if you need to sit go to the front by the door to wait. Had he not been already ordering I could see that being an issue. But after having a bad wreck all I needed was to sit down. Customer service is lackin .

Great spot for Breakfast and Lunch. Worthy of a stop and eat. Easy on and off of Rt 67.

We came here for my son's birthday brunch and he enjoyed his Chicken and Waffles.. We love the home cooked atmosphere and friendly staff. They have healthy options and decent pricing. My boys love it here.

My husband and I drive to Desoto every Saturday morning to eat breakfast at Cracker Barrel. IHOP just does not do it for us. We tried this place and the food was delicious and reasonable. They have won our hearts.
