Diana Alteration Review

I took curtains to Diana to be hemmed. She was very professional, I liked the shop and she was a lovely person. The curtains are perfect. My new go to alterations shop.

To begin with, items were well done. Unfortunately there has now been too many mistakes. I had a skirt ruined with a pulled thread, done by the sewing machine. A beautiful jacket that had been left hanging in the window, now sun damaged. Back darts that extend to the bottom of the hem. A skirt with an uneven hem and a dress that was shortened by several more INCHES than had been measured for!!, and numerous other items. It's a shame because the lady who owns the business is very nice and accommodating.
Regrettably I'm now going somewhere else.

I would 100% recommend Barbara. She altered my wedding dress this year and was super accommodating even though the original wedding date was cancelled due to the lockdown. When I had set a new date Barbara and I met severally times where she perfectly altered my dress, making it look even better than I dreamt it would. She was always friendly and a perfectionist! She even made my mother and I face masks to match out outfits. Reasonably priced, really lovely and a fantastic seamstress!

Small and friendly little shop. I had trousers taken up, reasonably priced and ready the next day.

Really friendly service and a great job done on a pair of trousers that needed shortening slightly. Nothing was too much trouble and the quality of work was better than expected for such a competitive price. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service. Used for putting a new zip on my motorbike leather jacket as well as fixing my favourite top after I burned it and done an amazing job. Very pleased with the service received.
