Went to watch Murder on the Orient Express. My favourite theatre in Honolulu. Had seats at the back but it is small enough that I could enjoy the performance perfectly. There is headphones for the difficult of hearing.
The performance was excellent. Very well done and the stage props were very creative and really made it feel like I was there. Highly impressive for a small theatre.
Only negative is not a huge selection of snacks but there are some drinks. I don't think anyone goes to the theatre for the snacks though.
Will be going again soon!

What a fantastic place to see a show. Go and you won't be disappointed.

Great little community theater with quality performances

Very helpful, reasonable prices and a wide assortment!

We went to see "A Charlie Brown Christmas" first because it is a very nice story, second because I love Charlie Brown and third but MORE IMPORTANT, because my "sister in law" was within the cast of actors. The theater is very beautiful and spacious. The work was Precious and it is almost a tradition to see it every Christmas!

Such a fun time! It's inexpensive and the plays are really well done.

Wonderful venue to see great local talent performing live at very reasonable prices. Casual dress especially for the matinee performances.

Tickets sell out fast as the theater is small, so buy your tickets early. Season tickets (6 performances over a year) also available at discounted prices. Call the theater for details or check their website.

Ample free parking behind the theater or across the street at Kapiolani Community College. For the past year or so, a security guard was available before and after performances to help people cross the street.

All their productions are professional from acting to orchestra.

Always enjoy their musical production. Very talented performers.

The theatre is nice and there's lots of parking across the street at KCC.

Small and old, but the building itself doesn't matter because the productions here are second to none.

Sound of Music was excellent. Awesome music and casting. The kids were terrific. Good luck in getting tickets. Heard it was sold out. 4.5

Completely blown away by tonight's show, Murder On The Orient Express. A brilliant cast coupled with a truly magnificent set in a historic theater makes for one hell of a production. Bravo.

I went to go see Newsies but was late. They were very good about getting us in and got us straight to our seats. I'm a short person but was able to see from my back row seat just fine.

DHT has been part of our community for so many years. Great alternative to the TV...LOL and to get out of the house ans socalize. This theatre has given opportunities to so many. We will continue to be season ticket holders.

The shows are usually wonderful, Broadway quality really but the sound system is uneven & the lyrics often garbled & difficult to hear. They do have hearing amplification devices available however.

Friendly staff. I'm amazed at the quality of the actors/actresses and the using of local talent.

Love the live community theatre with first rate productions!! Can't wait until tgey upgrade the theater.

Older theater, with great productions! Parking is behind, or across the street.

Love this theater. Comfy seating & not a bad one in the house. Orchestra pit could use re-arranging, but hey, the place is nearly a century old!

The event was a special performance sponsored by Bank of Hawaii. It was very well done.

One of the greatest theater to go to and watch some amazing plays and shows!!

Great Musical plays

Just attended February 2020 production of Murder on the Orient Express. Terrific cast with Theo Columbus as the lead. Loved his rendition of the iconic Poirot for the refreshing comedic version. Wonderful venue too.

The outside looks cheezy. The inside is good but the levels of chairs are almost even, so its hard to see the whole stage if you are short. The perfomance was good, so far it was entertaining.
