Terrible experience Exorbitant price even after reducing by 25% after I complained. Took 40 days from arrival at Nairobi airport to arrive at N'djamena. Original estimate on tracking 1 week. No communication until I complained. Stuck in Gabon 2 weeks with no explanation once it finally moved. Never again

She made it her mission to see that my parcel got to me, even going further to help me secure it from the airport since it was a Saturday, and I wouldn't have been able to get it till Monday, which would have been utterly disastrous. And she followed up until she was sure I had got my package. FI had never experienced such customer service anywhere before. You turned my rating of that courier company to 5 star with your care, politeness, problem solving skills and everything else. I felt like a VIP. Thank you Monalisa. Thank you. very stupid and incompentent delivery service.. Package has been stuck at customs for a week now, no one has bothered to reach out to us.. calling and emailing them all to no avail. I wish i could give them 0 star. If you know whats goood for you NEVER USE DHL KENYA
I usually use DHL to send documents to Kenya. Recently I sent two magazines and a Simcard which I used £37 pounds to send on express from Uk. On reaching Kenya it has been a slow and expensive process with random charges. I was told charged another khs 5,500 just for a document in A4. It’s feels like a rip-off. This has not been my 1st bad experience with DHL. It feels like a DHL doesn’t really care about the ordinary individual sender who wants to sent a gift to family. It seems to be working for big companies and institutions that send loads of heavy parcels internationally. I wonder why for a very light parcel you get charged twice. I am so disappointed and will not use DHL again in the future. I will also share my this bad experiences with family and friends.

Am very disappointed. I sent a parcel from Germany in December, it arrived today, 11th February,the box is totally damaged and my recepients are told to pay tax total of 16,700ksh.. The man at the counter abused my brother. This is pathetic. Will never use this service again.
Had an urgent parcel to deliver to Dhaka Bangladesh from Mombasa. I expected it to reach on Tuesday but was very happy that it arrived and was delivered 2 days earlier despite the COVID challenges.. Thank you DHL
Really a mixed bag of service. Amazon purchases are hassle free. However, sometimes it's drama and delays! Bought some small clothes for my daughter and the taxes and duty came to 80% of the clothes value. What a waste!
I feel disappointed and cheated. I sent a parcel via DHL express from Nigeria, I was unable to collect. My parcel was reviewed three times with different taxes to pay. When I showed up at the office the lady handling the issue disappeared. I spent several hours before I was attended to. I will never use DHL service again. Asking customers to pay taxes based on KRA valuation is a total reap off. DHL should be able to distinguish commercial and personal parcels.
