DGI Huset Herning Reviews

Come to DGI Huset to train in their fitness and relax in their wellness. Both areas are beautiful and comfortable to use. It's always clean and neat. Their facilities are good, however, in some places there might be larger signs with instructions eg in wellness when people go from the sauna and directly in the hot / cold water pools without rinsing, but this is the only thing I have remarks about.

Super good training house if you also like to swim or go to the sauna

Nice water culture center, however, lacks better puzzle space in menswear ...

Good swimming facilities. Good service, however, I think the training conditions are not the best.

I have mostly just used DGI huset for going swimming and going to the sauna. It is probably the best place in close proximity to go for a nice hot Sauna and their swimming facilities are the best. They have for all ages. Also they offer a gym and food in the entrance.

Delicious swim basins. Lovely warm water and good dtbder for the little ones and lots of play stuff. However, it is a little expensive.

Excellent team training in the DGI house. Very dedicated and competent instructors. However, here during the summer period there is little ventilation in the training match, where everything is all too hot in relation to training.

Lovely swimming pool and spa, mam pays a bit expensive compared to other swimming pools

Though the swimming center was good, and the gym was okay. Cannot speak for the rest of their facility, but it looks modern and sharp.

The DGI house is a good place where there are many good activities and events but can participate in. The fitness center and the water park were clearly worth the visit!

Although a little spicy in price, the DGI house ratio is absolutely fantastic. This is not the last time I visit the house.

Lovely rooms, delicious breakfast and many activities such as, indoor swimming pool, fitness, bicycles, team teaching, wellness, massage and much more.
And centrally right to Hovedgaden and 7 min by car to the box and MCH Arena.
Not the last time we get there.
And friendly staff.

Used fitness and it was really nice. Some of the machines could use some service. The changing room is fine but there is not much pressure on the showers. All in all quite nice but with room for improvement

I think the DGI House's so-called Water Culture House is a really nice place to come. When you have a swim, you can walk directly from the pool to the hot tub, which is located in the middle of the large pool. There is also a hot water pool, which is often used for gymnastics, a wellness area with steam room, sauna and cold and hot water pool, spinning and gym. In addition, they have a regular and welcoming staff.

Its a lovely hotel. It have some great facilities like pool, workout and much more.

Good room but breakfast and service was so poor that I will never stay at a DGI hotel again.

Overnight a single time and positively set about experiencing good clean modern rooms with good beds and good service minded staff .. The breakfast is incl de 995 for 2 people and it is really nice without being phenomenal .. Freshly squeezed juice is delicious. Otherwise very big with really good training opportunities and a large swimming pool with climbing wall in the pool ..

In the house there are many different things, everything from fitness to swimming pool. I can definitely recommend their swimming pool, their wellness has plenty to offer, there is steam sauna and cold water basin, hot water and much more. It is also very fun for children, you can jump on a small trampoline into the water. There are also a lot of fun tools. However, there are no lashes or rusty lanes.

very bad experience for the price. The room, despite being reasonably new, was very worn. Inexpensive laminate gold that was worn, bathroom with lime deposits and mold in the shower cubicle, the upholstered chair in the room was full to cocoa stains. The beds were cheap mattresses from Jutland with the absolutely cheapest mattress to be imagined, very hard to lie in. The bed skated around the cheap laminate gold, the windows from the floor would not be right in our room as there was only window in the middle size. The breakfast was the one day without the bread one could cut, and the day after there was unfortunately no more cut cheese ........... cannot recommend this place in any way for the price .....

Have used their swimming pool and wellness area.
The facilities in the wellness area are really good. However, it pulls down that you can hear the Zumba team below when sitting in the steam room or sauna.
Sauna gus is held at an excellent level.

Have used fitness and swimming pool, nice quiet and quiet place to be

The kids had been looking forward to it for several weeks, but unfortunately the joy was not completely fulfilled. We checked into the hotel at 2.30 pm and before we reached the pool, it was 4 pm and the kids were now not allowed to use the saunas and the steam bath, which was what they had been most looking forward to during their stay. The next day we went up to give the kids a sauna before we had to check out at 11, but on the way into the sauna we were stopped by a very grumpy man, who stood up in front of the kids and refused them to come in. The kids were so disappointed and we asked if it could be true that they could not get 5 min in the sauna before we went home? After all, we had paid DKK 1,000 to be there for 19.5 hours! But no, there was absolutely nothing to do and we just had to disappear with the kids. We did so. The most unpleasant thing was that around the scene sat a bunch of grumpy old men, who began to laugh scornfully at the kids when then disappointed had to go again. I was honestly speechless and one thing is for sure; we will never set foot in the house again!
Beyond that, breakfast was fine, with a surprisingly good selection in fruits and vegetables. However, in very sad cafeteria surroundings.
We had booked a family room and based on the pictures on the booking portal, it was a room with really nice space for all of us 4. But when we checked in we got what to us looked like a completely ordinary small hotel room and then there was just pressed 2 mattresses down on the floor around the bed. But the result that it was
Completely impossible to get around the room without stepping into the kids' beds. In my world (and in other hotels) it is shown what is called "room with extra bed", not a family room. A very friendly man at the front desk, however, swapped our room out for 2 regular rooms with a door in between so everything ended fine at that point.
But summasummarum, left just a really annoying experience of a sour inflexible counter pope who could not indulge the kids 5 minutes sauna trip.

Seems the floors / elevators are fiercely illogical.
That makes it somewhat difficult to find your way around.

Their wellness and swimming department is great, as are their training facilities. It is a lovely place for children and adults alike, as an adult without children can also search away from the children's area and up into the adult area. DGI is also very good at making various events for children and adults. When you have used all your energy you can always order a nice massage.

It was just overall good and they have some great facilities.

Great hotel, great pool, great fitness facilities, but the rooms are ALL for the heat. Warmest hotel room I have ever slept on. This was on the 3rd floor. At first it wasn't so hot. I will not sleep here again until there is AC in the room.

I was in the dgi house for a swim, and that was perfect, very nice surroundings and esthetics

I rate the exercise section 10/10 with more than enough exercise machines and even a swimming area.

I only use the house for exercise and wellness, where the qualities are top notch.

I am in town for work from the USA I love the country and this hotel has been very nice both the hotel and the service

Super nice place. I have both used their gym and wellness facilities and they are both super good. The fitness center is a little small, but if you arrive early it is both cheaper and there are plenty of machines free. Their breakfast is a bit pricey, but excellent (standard hotel breakfast buffet) and they have a friendly staff.

Miserable service. Booked hotel WITH dog when it came up as allowed, also specified in the booking that we had with dog. It is also not stated on the website that dogs are not allowed.

Still, we were thrown on the street when we arrived at the hotel at 00:00 at night and had to find ourselves a new place to stay. Not only was it stressful to be unaware if we had a place to sleep for the night - we also had to pay 4000 NOK more than the originally booked price for the new hotel when it was booked so late.

The hotel should not appear as dog friendly, and at least do not confirm the reservation we booked over 2 months in advance. Here we could probably get another hotel much cheaper than 5000 NOK if we had received a discount as soon as we booked.

They do not show a willingness to compensate for the poor service either. Will never book at this hotel again and recommend no one else to do so either.

Friendly service, tasty breakfasts, clean rooms. Fitness zone open. Unfortunately, due to COVID, closed swimming pool.

I was in DGI swimming pool and that's great. They have a trampoline that's for fat

Spinning worked quite well - good changing facilities including bath.

Beautiful place. Comfortable and well-functioning service. We felt welcome.

Mega cool fitness facilities and "mini water park". Average rooms. Cleaning ok, except shower cubicles that need descaling. Faucets 98% stopped.
Nice central. And the breakfast buffet is ok, however, the eggs / bacon are cold. Bakeoff bread is a bit boring.

Excellent hotel. Showers and rooms clean and tidy. Room service work in timely manner. Breakfast was nice except the scrambled eggs which were unbelievably not tasty. Also there is an issue with spot lights above the beds - delicate and halogen burnt fast that the quality of lighting went down but cant blame them for it. Great wellness area and swimming pool. Gym and exercise areas were also impressive.

Single night with 2 children. Super good experience. Lovely water park, clean rooms and good service.

There is a super good to get in the Dgi house I use their swim hall and their gym it's just fine

Very nice place in Herning! The pools and sauna are quite relaxing, the gym is good and the gym classes are excellent.
