I applied for an urgent passport. The staff at the passport office were helpful and proactive. My passport was ready within a few hours.

No knowledge when I called to gain help for filling out a form. Operator babbled on about how India has different policies.....huh? what does India have to do with my question? really weird....are your staff stoned or something?

hi i am writing to make you worry. I am of Congolese nationality from Brazzaville. I try since fill out my visa application online on your required page and when filling, as soon as I put all the first information on my nationality and I want to go on the next page, I receive information that the applicant passport nationality is not eligible to use this online service. so please like to know how to finally make my request because here is the site i use (online.immi.gov.au). I would like you to tell me what to do. thank you and my best wishes 2020.

Absolutely poor service! I have been trying to obtain my police clearance for over 6 months. I have been told to send my documents, they were returned and I was told to do it online. Tried online but as I do not have a mobile in the UAE I could not proceed. Called and was told that i need to fill register with MOICAIC, I did that, paid and sent documents again. Guess what?! they were returned again,, I cannot get a refund. And so the cycle continues, If some has any ideas how to get the UAE police clearance document can you please let me know?!

It's cold. Maybe their Air con/heater is busted, made to last 'just long enough'. Foreign Affairs & Trade huh? Import goods on longevity/quality not "international Relations" or it ends up as 'land Fill'. Wastes $$$$ wastes time

Very poor customer service arrived there 3 officer over counter place empty and I could get service... was of government money 3 public service just talking themselves.. very upsetting

Rang the Department to find out who I could talk to someone to see if there was any activity planned to Comemerate the visit of the late King of Thailand to R.A.A.F Ubon Thailand, which took place in June 1962.
I found the Switch Operator most rude and most un co-operative. I hope that is not the image we display to all people who contact the Department. I wouldn't want to be in the same "Fox Hole" as her with her arrogant attitude

90 Minutes on the phone waiting for a human being and not one update, as in 'you have advanced in the queue', or 'there are still 400 thousand people in front of you'. VERY VERY POOR

Very poor customer service on the phone. The waiting time i understand. But the sighing every time when asking for my info? Dude, get a job you like.

we as taxpayers are paying too much for the advice which boils down to , you got yourself into this situation , now get yourself out.

The Australian consular officers of the Bangkok Embassy (Thailand) are unhelpful, ignorant and discriminatory. The officers of DFAT Canberra are no better. Australians who need DFAT's help when overseas will be sadly disappointed by the response. What a disgrace.

Communist China has murdered more people than any other regime EVER!

Waste of my tax $$$. Entered my details exactly as they appeared on each id document for passport renewal. Website wouldn't accept them?? waited on the phone for an hour to speak to the most rude unhelpful disinterested people I've ever come across. Even with a drivers license, TWO old passports and a birth certificate handy they were unable to help.
How is it so hard to renew a natural born citizen's passport? Unbelievable.

If you are overseas, try ring a local consulate first. My passport was stolen, as distraught I was, they provided no information to me. I had to call back three times. After that third phone call, I googled my answer. I know they are trying to steer themselves out of a call centre job by having the internet, but people do need assistance via voice! not everyone has access to a laptop when traveling overseas.

THOUSANDS of Australian Expats HAVE to travel to the Bangkok Embassy EVERY year, to fulfill Thai Immigration requirements. AND YOU have just increased the stamp & signature of of a Stat Dec to $70. Thanks for such a pitiful service!
