Deverell Smith Review

My experience of working with Deverell Smith can only be described as extremely positive. I have been on both sides of the process. They recruited me in to my current role and have subsequently acted for me in my search for staff.

Joseph Morris who I have been most closely associated with is bright and personable. He takes pains to fully understand the brief and is very clear with candidates on what is required. He also provides a valuable feedback process for both the client and candidates and carefully monitors the interview process

Best recruitment company I have dealt with. I met Harriet and she introduced me to the whole of her team covering different areas and options in order to find the best opportunity for myself. I was given excellent advice on small improvements concerning my CV I had not thought of before.

My recent experience with Deverell Smith has been outstanding in so many levels. As many other people, I lost my job in the middle of the pandemic leaving me in a complicate situation in so many levels also feeling very insecure about my professional future. I was lucky to come across Shaun Stephen, a Senior Consultant for Deverell Smith. After taking the usual steps of sending my CV for his review and understanding of my professional background, Shaun was exceptional in many ways. Not only he was a constant presence during my job search by being in touch often by email and phone checking how I was doing but he really put time and effort to work on my behalf by trying actively to find roles that would fit me in a time where there are pretty much non existent. I can't speak highly enough of Shaun, he was not only friendly, emphatic, a genuine nice person and very human to deal with but in a schedule that I can only guess is very busy, he always took time to check on me and went out of his way to help me. One of the best recruitment companies to work with. From first meet they were treating me extremely nice. I had more interaction with Shaun and was amazed with his kindness. A month after they helped me to find a good place to work, Shaun organised amazing cupcakes to be delivered to my home in order to celebrate my baby daughters birth!
