Terrible experince the worst of the worst with this terrible agency, we are looking for HELP !! but they are helping just rich people or people with influences, never minorities, in few words they are sucks!!! I hear the State is no very happy with them... BTW I will send the Federal Complain, because they always talking about the State of Colorado but they never follow rules and regulations and the clean the bathroom with Federal Laws... thieves.

It all went well when working with the Intake personnel; delightful to say the least.
I want each of you to read this and understand it...in order to get the Waiver you have to have so many points and in that system, comes just this..it is what has happened to my grandson and what is continuing that they do not tell you about.
In order to get enough points, although he is NOT autistic...has a couple of mannerisms that would suggest same and his neurologist would tell everyone the same, we had to declare him totally autistic. With that done, we had already signed forms and goals of his becoming totally independent to live with either a roommate of by himself. We were told, "oh, that does not matter, we understand that he is pretty far advanced towards being independent." Lie #1

So this statement is in the records, now read closely and program this for you will not want to go through what the grandson is and myself.l.

Eventually, they will take the SS away from the family; not happening here, I will pull him out of the program first. When I get done here you will see that it is a big bunch of graft to takeover your child's life. Here we go: The Waiver does this: you have to list every asset that your child owns and the value..that means bracelets, DVDs, CDs, tablet, phonograph, shoes, shorts, shirts...you name it, you have to list it! If that is not enough..then you have to tell them each and every time you buy something, right down to a hamburger or box of feminine hygiene! Let us go on...chart when one gets up, goes to bed, when one goes to the toilet, on and on and on! They ask, "do you know how to use the toilet, do you know how to wash your hands and dry afterwards, do you know how to dress yourself..." you have to tell them if there is a savings account, how much, where, trust fund, foundation that serves your child; last, but not least is the fact that they will not allow your child, if capable which my g. son is - just about fully independent in many ways - except like keeping a better house/clean; cooking, etc. buying their own groceries if in a host home/that violates SS law...no one can tell a SS/SSI recipient how to spend their money..it is theirs...they can suggest but that is where it ends; not even a Payee can do that...it is a horrible experience for someone that is able to do 70% of everything for themselves; in CO. where my grandson is..they are rude after you get past intake and I truly think stupid...all the paperwork is so they can keep a job. Be sure you read and understand this: he has several pages of a book like list of things he has to do, cannot do, etc...one of those is. you get a gift, you have to report it; we choose your doctors, keep going, list all of your personal clothing..that is above I believe but I forgot to add this little piece of critical information which I believe is totally illegal..the note says...all assets, that means clothing and all become the property of Pathways! Don't fall for their greed! Don't fall for their communistic efforts to take all you or your child have.

Then they tell you they provide transportation...that they do but it is not reliable if you live or need service more than four miles; I could go on and on... I am hopeful the grandson will post again and very soon; it is hell what they put you through pure hell...they try to take the Payee out, take the SS, POA they try to oust and much, much more...beware...

Good leadership and staff that really care about helping folks with disabilities. They partner with a lot of community organizations around Arapahoe & Douglas counties & the City of Aurora. Many ways to get plugged in!

Terrible. The staff is rude, the management does not care, and overall leadership is poor. Please express your concerns with the state as I have, if you have had a problem with this organization.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Developmental Pathways. Lots of fun community events for my kids, plenty of financial support, a great case worker. All-in-all a wonderful agency.
