I lived at floco for 2 years and made great memories and great friends. It is close to campus and bus line. I would recommend Floco to a friend.

I lived in one of their properties for 4 years(FLOCO). Have zero complaints, we took good care of our unit, so we received are full security deposit at move out. Management was always helpful with any issues we did have! Always welcoming and understanding regardless of the situation. There was small Maintenance issues throughout our stay ie: Clogged drains, light bulbs going out, other misc. problems, nothing real major. But any issue we did have, Maintenance always attended too it in a reasonable timeframe. I mean you can't expect a knock on the door as soon as you put in the fix-it request. I really don't have a bad thing to say about my experience, And reading some of these reviews really surprises me. Which was the main reason for leaving a review myself. Notice how all the bad reviews give no real explanation to why it's negative. Sounds too me like the negative reviews are fueled by resent from a single incident!! I mean most reviews are only written after a bad experience. Take a moment to think about how many people have lived in a DM property, probably thousands. And there's only a handful of negative reviews, I don't know about you but that speaks Volumes to me.

Great Management hands down! I've dealt with several of management companies throughout the area and this one truly takes the cake. Management follows through in a timely fashion and very responsive with regard to handling my maintenance requests. I've been here 6years now and every year that goes by I don't regret any bit of it. You will not be disappointed with this company.

Please note: I've worked with The DM Companies for 10+ years as well as lived in the one of our Uptown properties for (6) years. I'm a firm believer that you should have 100% confidence in the place that you work and the product that you speak about. If management was truly an issue I wouldn't have stayed in my place for (6) years nor would I be able to work & speak with conviction when it pertains to living under this management company. I hope this clears up any confusion or misunderstanding with regard to my post. Thank you-

Awful, awful company. They never really care about helping you and just want you to stop contacting them. They also don't care about their security of their apartments; I've had a moped broken into under their Floco property and bikes have been stolen from under their Thomas Place property. Finally, watch out for fake reviews; Deparis is an employee of DM.

Edit: full disclosure, I did receive a follow-up call from the manager to make sure everything was alright at this point in time, so I updated my review. My previous review still stands as it's stuff that has happened in the past, however, updating this to be fair to them.

STAY AWAY from ANY PROPERTIES RENTED BY THIS COMPANY -- THEY ARE SLUMLORDS! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT TENANTS, ONLY THE MONEY COMING INTO THEIR POCKETS OR MONEY THEY MIGHT LOSE THROUGH LAWSUITS. THEY WILL ONLY DO REPAIRS of ANY KIND WHEN THREATENED BY LAWSUITS. SINCE JANUARY 2017-- WHEN A TORRENT OF WATER POURED DOWN ALONG THE WALLS of TWO INSIDE HALLWAYS FROM A DISINTEGRATING and LEAKY ROOF-- AS OF LATE MAY 2017 TENANTS IN AT LEAST FOUR APARTMENTS are STILL EXPERIENCING CONTINUING WATER LEAKING INTO THEIR APARTMENTS BECAUSE OF THE RIDICULOUS "PATCH" JOBS THEY SAY THEY ARE DOING AS "REPAIRS". WHEN IT RAINS, SOME LEAKS ARE VERY SEVERE and COME THROUGH ELECTRICAL FIXTURES, CREATING HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS, YET THEY REFUSE TO DO THE EXTENSIVE and REAL REPAIRS NECESSARY TO THE ROOF... THIS, HOWEVER, is just the TIP OF THE ICEBERG for a COMPANY THAT SHOULD, HANDS DOWN, BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS! DO NOT..... RENT..... FROM THEM!

Left three messages and no one returned my phone calls. Not a very responsive business! I wonder how responsive they would be when my plumbing is leaking.

I have rented with this company for over three years now and I am very pleased. The staff is always extremely friendly and responsive and will go out of their way to help out. Most other places have made me jump through hoops for maintenance issues whereas here they come take care of it right away and continue to keep the facilities clean and well kept!

Overall a good experience with these guys. Very responsive to maintenance issues and didn't try to swindle us on the security deposit. I would definitely rent from them again.

Horrible experience, terrible service, very disorganized, poor communication and delayed responses. Stay away!
