Everyone that I spoke to was friendly and treated me with respect. As a woman, I appreciate not being talked down to when it comes to my vehicle.

I stopped in after seeing a red GMC Canyon crew cab on the lot. Fernando Vasquez came out and asked if I had any questions, my wife was still in our car. I started asking about the Canyon and my wife said she really didn't care for the color... She found a Silverado 1500 RST a few vehicles down the row. It was also red but it is the Cajun Red Tintcoat. Fernando answered all our questions, never once pressured us in any way. He thoroughly explained all the features and the available rebates. A few days later we picked it up!

Always a good experience using the service department at Desert Suns. It's a great place to buy a car as well!

Honest and excellent people from our Salesman Luis Covarrubias to GM Steve Irick. They followed up during and after the sale of our Acadia Denali and dealt with issues in a timely manner that was satisfactory to the wife and I. Thanks to the GM specialty warranty i didnt have to pay a dime for a high costing repair. Granted it was a project that took all day(not complaining. Totally get some repairs take time.) i got my car back same day. The best part the car drives like its brand new

Took car in for repair. They spent two days with it, told me I needed parts not required and then charged me over $100. After I picked up the car I took it to Gressman motors. They diagnosed the fault as a bad ground in about 10 minutes. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR REPAIR UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF!!!!

Bought new truck has less than 1k miles on it and ac took a dump. They claimed they fixed it and it is no better than before. They say I need to wait 2 more weeks. Its 100 plus degrees. Thanks for the generous service! I have bought 5 new trucks from them and never another if they can fix what they sell. Made appointment with Sierra Blanca and see if they can fix it.

Lance was our salesperson. We bought a GMC truck with way too many bells and whistles on it. He was so patient and knowledgeable with us. I don t recall buying a new vehicle that ended up being such an enjoyable experience. Thanks to Lance and the rest of the employees at Desert Sun. We are loving our new truck.

Even though Dodge is now owned by Desert Sun, they still have Jack keys Mechanics. I payed $180 for them to tell me a part that doesn't exist on my vechiel is broke. I spent about 1 week with parts department for them to find the problem. Parts Department 5 stars

Went back to buy a car again and Erik Hall is my preferred sales person especially since I have dealt with him before. This time my wife and I bought a Toyota Rav 4. Erik was extremely professional and pointed out all the features of the vehicle before, during and after completing the test drive. He kept us informed in all parts of the sales to include the financing.

Just check the axle ratio in every truck your interested in because what's standard to GM is not standard to DS. So I got a truck with a lighter towing capacity then i was expecting.

Had a great experience with my car purchase. Fernando was an excellent and friendly sales associate. There was no pressure and the negotiations were very fair. I arrived at about 8:15 and had keys to a new car before 11:00 am (including test drive, negotiations, financing, etc). If your looking for a car, go ask for Fernando, you won't be disappointed!!

If I had any critique it would be with the finance department. While the lady was very nice, it seemed a little sly on how the $2K+ warranty was presented. When it came time to sign the document regarding the interest and monthly payment she showed me the paper and said "this is the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty and your monthly payment will be $XXX, sign here". I had my pen on the line to sign when I decided to ask about the warranty (as that was the first mention of it). I asked if it was included and she said no, it's twenty two fifty. I said, twenty two fifty? She then clarified $2,250 (which was about 20% of the cost of the car I was buying). I never asked for a warranty and was never told about the it before it was slipped into the total cost. I chose to forgo the warranty. I'm not disputing the warranty's value, just the manner which it was put in so nonchalantly with no explanation was a bit disappointing and something I could have easily signed up to without really knowing I was doing it.

Don't let the second paragraph stop you from visiting though. I've bought many cars from dealerships over the years and this was definitely the most pleasant experience I've had and Fernando was certainly the nicest sales consultant I've worked with. Normally, during negotiations I get the feeling the dealership is being dishonest on their positions... this was not the case at all here. We worked out a great price that both parties could live with with relative ease. Thanks again Fernando, we love our car!!!

When I lived in Alamogordo I always used to get my oil changed here. The customer service was always outstanding.

I recently purchased a used certified vehicle from the dealership and Fernando Vasquez was the salesman. He provided excellent customer service; was knowledgeable about the vehicle and warranty coverage; was courteous, patient and not pushy. And other staff that I met there were likewise customer service oriented. I would recommend you talk with Fernando and this dealership if you have interest in a new or used vehicle.

I purchased a new Chevy Spark at Desert Sun this past Saturday and the entire transaction, beginning to end, could not have been easier or gone more smoothly. Eddie, my sales consultant, was able to answer every question I had about the car and provided information about several things I hadn't thought to ask about -- all without any kind of pressure or up-selling, which I really appreciated. I'd arranged for a vehicle loan before coming to the dealership, but Tessie, the finance officer handling the sale, helped me take advantage of a lower interest rate that was being offered. And Eric, a CTE specialist, helped me set up my OnStar trial and walked me through all of the electronic "bells and whistles" that were new to me with the Spark. I would recommend Desert Sun to anyone looking for a vehicle.

Outstanding customer service and maintenance at the Service Dept. We recently moved to Alabama where the contrast was significant. At an Alabama Chevy dealership, I had to wait 3 hours for a shuttle compared to Desert Sun s 4 minute wait time. Desert Sun does a great job at responding quickly and Garrett has always been courteous and respectful. I have moved to CO and am tempted to drive to Alamogordo for standard maintenance, that is how much I trust the Service Dept at Desert Sun. Luis was amazing he helped me with all the questions and trouble I had and sat there while I spent an hour going back and forth to pick my car! He explained everything to me to where I could actually understand it worked with everything I had going on and was really sweet with my daughter he knew a lot about the car before I even got into it he also made sure it was cleaned spotless and perfect. BEWARE, THIS DEALERSHIP IS A SHAM: I own a 2006 Dodge Ram. While hunting in New Mexico, my truck began running rough and the check engine light came on. I drove 2 hours to Desert Sun Espanola, INC. a Dodge Dealership to have my truck looked at. At first, I thought they were trying to fix the truck. I had to get a hotel room, at $75.00, wait 1/2 of the next day, while they tinkered with my truck. Eventually, they told me the #8 cylinder of the truck lost compression (A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE 5.7 HEMI) and the engine needed to be replaced. The Dealership Manager offered me 150.00 for my truck for basically scrap. I have maintained my truck per manufacture specifications routinely. This completely floored me. However, I did not sell the truck for $150.00. I rented a car at $395.00 to drive myself and partner back to Colorado. When I got to Colorado, a person from the dealership called me and offered me $1,500.00 for my truck. At the time with no engine, and no real way to get it to Colorado, I said okay. The money never arrived and finally, I get another phone call about some family emergency and the offer was now $900.00 for my truck. I said no, I will not sell the truck for 900.00. I then arranged for my truck to be transported to Colorado $495.00. When my truck was delivered to Colorado to a real mechanic, they fixed my truck by replacing the fuel injector on the #8 cylinder. So, by me going to SUN DESERT ESPONOLA, INC. I got to pay 1,205.00 for the pure pleasure of sitting at the dealership. This includes the invoice for diagnosis from the dealership of $215,00. Will this dealership step up to the plate and reimburse me the $1,205.00 dollars? CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS ALL FOR A $225.00 FUEL INJECTOR that went bad?

We first went to Desert Sun for service on an older Chevy we had. The service department treated us "golden". When we decided to buy a new Chevrolet it made sense to us to return to Desert Sun to buy it. Eddie Norrell and the sales staff made buying a new car easy and exciting. First class treatment all the way!

My entire buying experience was fantastic... great employees to make u feel comfortable.. but I must say my sales rep Ryan " big country " Taylor was beyond great!!! Took my 2017 in for routine service...nice staff...fast.

When the dealerships in El Paso did not have the vehicle I was looking for I found it at Desert Sun. Jonathon Lucero made the trip to Alamogordo well worth it. I got a great deal on my 2017 Chevy 2500 HD diesel! And even when there was a hiccup with my vehicle. Desert Sun motors did all they could to assist me here in El Paso to resolve the issue. I will definitely shop here in the future and will recommend to all my friends and family.

I am located in Ocean Springs MS, i worked with Jonathan on purchasing a 2013 Platinum Escalade. Hands down he made the process from start to finish seamless. Being out of state a driver met me half way in Dallas Texas where i picked the vehicle up with no issues. Everyone was very professional. Ryan was very patient and accommodating and took time to answer all of our many questions.After we "built " our Buick Enclave and sent it to him via email he found that exact car at another dealership in El Paso TX. Within 24 hours the Enclave arrived at Desert Sun Motors in Alamogordo NM . Eric was very helpful explaining all the technical features on this beautiful car. Looking all summer for a diesel 3/4 ton 4x4 pick up. Saun Medina from Alamogordo Desert Sun gave me a call and let me know that they had the very truck I was looking for! I was not able to get away from my mountain home so Saun brought the truck to my home. The GMC was absolutely what I had been waiting for!
Desert Sun then worked out a smoking deal for me that same day. My truck had been gone through their maintenance department and certified.... great job by them!

Due to my crazy schedule, I had to drop my car off early for my 2 pm appt. Fortunately, Becky,( I think that was the lady's name) had an 11 am cancellation and she squeezed my Enclave in at that time. I was able to pick up it much earlier, and get a head start on the weekend!
