Been dealing with Ryan Taylor and have nothing but good things to say about him. Has been extremely helpful and up front. Didn't feel like I wad being forced into anything and he was very patient with all my requests. Will definitely do business with him again!

I took my truck in for service. They finished it in half the time they quoted. Which was already faster than any other dealer has serviced my truck. They were friendly and the experience was great. I wish all dealerships were like this.

I had a bad experience with a Chevrolet dealership in El Paso and to be more specific the salesman helping me was not knowledgeable in their product (Silverado 1500) which immediately tells me this guy is bs ing me. After searching the inventory in the immediate and surrounding area I decided to take the 90 min drive to Desert Sun Motors and look at a 2020 Silverado 1500 that I was interested in. This was the best decision made as I was informed of all that the truck offers as part of the test drive. I spoke to a gentleman named Lawrence and any and all questions were answered without hesitation. His knowledge of the product was spot on which as a sign of a true professional. I recommend Desert Sun Motors and highly encourage you to speak to Lawrence for accurate and truthful information.

This was my first time buying a car and she made me so comfortable. I never once felt pressured to buy a car. She took the time to find a car that I could afford and that fit what I wanted/needed.

Waited almost 3 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. Then my truck was left in the parking lot locked with the back windows down and covered with greasy fingerprints. I take my GMC to the dealership for a reason, beginning to wonder how "professional" they are anymore....

The staff is fantastic! I've never had more fun buying a car.

Had an amazing experience with the used car department. Julian my salesman was VERY helpful in making my purchase, also when I needed an extra key for the vehicle I purchased he took it upon himself and purchased the key for me. I'm super satisfied with my car and with the customer service quality. Can't wait to purchase another car in the future from Desert sun.

I ve had my car for less than a year and bought it used well my transmission had went out, I voided the warranty by not getting the oil changed there (which is ridiculous if you ask me.. I understand getting the transmission fluids changed there but the oil changes are to expensive) anyways it went out and I went and talked to Steve the GM of both the chevy and toyata dealerships about this and he was kind enough to only charge me practically labor for the new transmission. I m super thankful but I still feel like you shouldn t be required to get your oil changed and your tires rotated by them for the in house warranty because it s super expensive I think they should look at this policy and revise it.

Slowest service I've ever experienced a staff that lies and didn't take care of there paying coustermers, and a boss by the name of Freddy

I recently bought a vehicle from desert sun toyota. As soon we walked in they made the experience so easy. Looking at vehicles and facility was no problem, they were so willing to take the time to make sure we seen everything.The facility has a room where you can put your kids to play while paper work was being done. Paper work and financing was so fast and easy. With everything said and done our time at the dealership was about two hours. We walked out happy as can be. Got a great deal on a truck and a free detail. My next vehicle will definitely be form desert sun toyota. Because no mater what vehicle you want even if they dont have it on the lot they will get it for you. Thank you all at desert sun toyota.

I worked with Saul Velasco. I had a very good experience. Desert sun along with Saul were very patient and overcame every obstacle that came in between me and getting the car that i wanted. I live out of state so there were many issue including distance they had to over come. We got the deal done and Desert Sun arranged to ship me the car. Not only are the sales and services staff both friendly and professional, but they back a company with a solid reputation for customer support. We originally met Ryan (AKA Big Country ) while window shopping for a pre-owned SUV around town. Although we found a 2014 Jeep Cherokee that had piqued our interest, we decided not to buy and Ryan was more than supportive the entire time. Fast-forward a month later after we foolishly purchased a lemon vehicle from a dirt lot dealer, Ryan showed us nothing but empathy and helped us trade-in that nightmare towards a Cherokee almost identical to the one we found originally. We just took our new purchase on its first road trip and could not be happier! Thank you again for helping us recover from the dumbest financial decision of our lives. We will definitely be back for our next vehicle purchase!

The staff at Desert Sun did a phenomenal job from start to finish. Bruce Cole and Fernando Vasquez helped me to get through the order and delivery processes smoothly. Dakota Bednarcyk likewise did an excellent job in the finance/payment process and was 100% transparent with options and advice on ways to think about the options in my decision-making process. Anthony, the lot attendant, was the one to pick me up and take me over to the dealership for delivery and was an excellent reflection of the team's professionalism.

We purchased a Buick Envision 4 days ago after 5 pm. Lawrence was so patient with our questions. He answered each question thoroughly and I drove home around 7 pm with a new car. He knows his stuff. I dropped by the dealership yesterday to have the protectant put on and I was treated with great respect and everyone was working quickly and efficiently. We bought a Silverado from Desert Sun in 2011 so felt confident about doing business with them again and they proved themselves again.

Wasn't able to purchase a vehicle here yet....BUT was given the best service at the Used car side! We were given ample time to test drive more then 1 vehicle!

I bought a used Mustang that turned out to have been raced previously unbeknownst to Desert Sun or myself. Within a month the rear different was so loud on the highway that I had to turn up my radio so I could still hear my music. Because it had been raced it wouldn't have been covered under warranty but Johnathan and Becky worked with me and they paid for all repairs (about $6,000 worth for a new transmission and rebuilt rear end). I'm pretty sure any other dealership would've stuck by New Mexico's 15-day limitation but not Desert Sun. Now all I can hear is the rumble of the V8 and the music on my radio as quiet or loud as I want it.

The TEAM at Desert Sun Chevrolet, GREATEST new car buying experience I ve had. Every sales service member all the way up to the Manger. And I emphasize, friendly-fast-well working, finely tuned TEAM. In and out, keys in hand in less than 2 hours.

My wife and I had a great car buying experience at Desert Sun! We spotted what we wanted online and had to feel confident to make the trip from Albuquerque, but it was all worth it. Bruce Cole was a pleasure to work with and helped us step by step, and despite the distance helped us to feel secure with our decision. A true professional and easily the best salesman I have worked with. He went above and beyond! Tessi in finance was wonderful as well and helped to make the details plain and simple. And to complete the great experience, Erick, the delivery specialist, walked us through all the technical aspects of the car, including helping to set up bluetooth. I inquired about a vehicle featured on Autotrader. I called and spoke to a salesman who stated he would call me back with more info however failed to call me back when he said he would. I spoke to a second salesman who later did the same thing. I spoke to a third salesman today, which I had explained to him that nobody has returned my calls regarding a vehicle I was interested in purchasing, and he failed to call me back after he told me he would. I dont get it. I feel like Im in the twilight zone? My conscience would never allow me to give my hard earned money to a business like this. I dont know what their excuse is but its unacceptable IMO. I'll drive to Las Cruces or El Paso to buy a vehicle.

My wife and I located the GMC truck we were looking for at Desert Sun via the internet. We sent an email to the Dealership letting them know we would like to take a test drive if that vehicle were still available for sale, the new car sales person immediately telephoned me and we set up a day and time to do our test drive. When we arrive at the dealership we were assigned Sales person Lawrence Chavez who is extremely knowledgeable of the vehicle, is very courteous, and knows the process necessary to complete a sale. We had a very pleasant experience working with Lawrence as well as all other Desert Sun Personnel. Our thank you to all involved and especially to Lawrence. We will recommend Lawrence to all our friends and family to ask for him when they are looking for a new vehicle.

The service department is excellent! My tie-rod broke in the mountains and they fixed it promptly and at a fair price. In addition, I live in El Paso and was not able to pick up the vehicle for almost two weeks. They were kind enough to store it for that time and even washed it without charge. Everyone I worked with was highly professional. I ll go out of my way to have vehicle service done here again in the future.

Recently purchased a new car at this dealership and was very impressed with the whole process from test drive to signing of the final papers. Happy to have a local dealership now rather than driving all the way to El Paso as I had been doing with my older car. My new car is a real gem too, couldn't be happier!

Every time i go here the manger in the used car area gives me the most bull crap info and every single time tells me i need to put 6000 down on any car i look at he has done this 4 times now all i want is a truck i have look at a varity now a chevy Silverado listed at 16000 a ford f 250 at 22000 a gmc at 22000 and a duramax at 30000 all needed 6000 down according to him and that with a trade from my old car whice they price at 10000 so in reality they are trying to get me to pay the truck off or half of it at the start they dont even metion a payment plan if i could give negative stars i would do not go here you will waste your time instead go to vision ford or jack keys both of thoese places are trying right now to find me a truck.

Went to get a key made. Parts kept saying he didn't think.it would work; internet wasn't working and he felt the key couldn't be done. Not a positive-li stay in view and the key was cut-20 min. It's works fine.

Out of all the past experiences ive had with other dealerships, this has by far been the best! Lawrence wasnt pushy and looked to see what the best deal was that he could get for us. He stayed within the vehicle price range and style that we were looking for. If im still stationed here when it comes time to purchase another vehicle, ill definitely be going back to him!

Extremely satisfied with the staff and company. I went in to price vehicles, like any place I was immediately helped by a sales representative named Luis. I told him what I wanted a used chevy Colorado since it was in my price range and I need it in 3 days. Not only did he find in in 36 hours but he got a brand new 2016 in my range in less than 2 days. Too top it off 3 weeks passed by and I did not have plates yet, he recognized me downtown on the weekend and helped me that day to expedite the process. If that wasn't enough he even brought me my plates to my home so I could finish moving in. Excellent customer service, clean building, everyone was kind and congratulated on my buy. Everyone seemed to like their job and wanted to be at work.

Was quoted a lower amount than what I was forced to pay at pick up. A simple Tire rotation and balance i was told cost 24.99 and i ended up having to pay 59.99. I asked for a discount or some type of comp. for the incorrect quote and they gave me nothing! very disappointed with that. They were also not the friendliest people. In addition, during my time finalizing my pay two other customers were also arguing about their situations and were not happy with the outcome as well. This place just is not what i expected from a dealership level of satisfaction. The Personal care was lacking. Im never going back

Bought an over priced used car that only lasted three years before the transmission went out. Lesson learned, if something is too good to be true it probably is.

Went in for an alignment, staff was very courteous. Work was completed in a great time. Waiting area was clean. I will be returning for future maintenance on my vehicle. Price was kind of high, but nothing that I was not prepared for when getting work done at a dealership.

Went into desert sun Motors for an Oil Change after driving from Fort Lauderdale FL. On a cross country road trip to visit family in NM with my dying dog Rico.
New filter cap on left... My filter cap on right... notice anything different? The O rings are different.... Why would the O rings be different ? Bcs some lazy Mechanic at Desert Sun motors in Roswell New Mexico snapped the O-ring and replaced it with the wrong one.... Got to Valdosta Georgia 1100 miles away before my car started making noises. Also found oily red shop rags in the engine bay and in my car on the seat. Bunch of lazy dirt bags. This was 48 hours before Irma ripped through my home state. Screw this place find somewhere else to go I don't recommend this shop to anyone can't do a simple oil change......

The folks at Desert Sun Alamogordo are anazing. Polite and welcoming. I take my car for service there every 6 months and they always do a great job. Additionally, they are the best when it comes to community involvenent. Desert Sun is a partner and contributer to many of our local non profits and are great neighbors to the community.
