I used the dermtech connect app. I submitted two photos of two moles. I was charged $39 for each with a promise of an analysis. The “analysis” was “moles are too big to be analyzed and should be seen by a dermatologist”. I didn’t consider that to be a bona-fide analysis. It was more of a recommendation and hardly worth $78. I pressed them for a proper analysis, or else a refund. After back and forth emails, they told me my moles were “concerning”. I accepted that finding but felt they were just avoiding the refund. Never got a refund. I finally visited a dermatologist, who took two minutes to look at both the moles and find both were of no concern. So, overall experience with dermtech app was waste of money. Reader can draw their own conclusions, but I give 1 stor.
