My VA social worker in the VA Homeless Outreach Program recommended I contact the staff here to see if I could receive help with securing an apartment. The VA social worker reached out to Alicia Padilla and gave her my background and Ms. Padilla said that I would qualify. However, when I filled out the lengthy application and faxed it to Ms. Padilla; she said that I did not qualify by $250.00. Ms. Padilla said she would get back to me and never. I left her a voicemail and sent her email with no response. It was not until contacted my VA social worker about the situation and then I finally heard back from her today. This nonprofit needs to work on their customer service and actually try to take care of veterans.

They are always aware of what's going on with their client nice people and very careing towards the families.

I love this place. Awesome staff and if you qualify, there are tons of resources available through RMHS. Awesome Veterans programs.

I had a job interview and new right away I had no chance of getting the job even though I had the education and experience plus I was also Veteran which the job was focused on providing services for. I saw little diversity and got the vibe even though I had the credentials that I did not have the look this company wanted. Sometimes it is frustrating and others times it make me angry to waste my time. I have a job that pays more, but really wanted to get back to my case management roots.

Great location for early childhood development assessment. Timely, and professional staff work so hard to help families

Great organization with helpful, professional and knowledgeable employees. The reason for the deduction is due to the difficulties we faced trying to get ahold of someone to schedule intake appointment. No one EVER answers the phone and they take 3 weeks to call you back! It took us 3 weeks from when my doctor sent them the referral. They called me within 48 hours of them receiving, I didn't know the number so I didn't answer, however, I listened to voicemail and called lady back immediately. Of course...no answer. Left voicemail after voicemail on every machine I found a number to on google. Finally my doctor's office called me (3 weeks later) wondering why an appointment had not been made yet. I explained to them the issues I had been having and they reported having an unlisted number that they will call on my behalf. They did just that and informed me that they spoke to someone who will be giving me a call before end of business that day. Two days later I FINALLY heard from them and was able to schedule appointment. I was beyond frustrated with them and was dreading the upcoming appointment. Had it not been for the staff that we worked with that conducted the exam, I would likely have scored lower. So to sum it up after my long explanation, awesome company, once you are fortunate enough to get appointment

My services through here came during the busiest and most stressful year of my life. They were willing to work my my scheduling which was a pain and my case worker Wintre Brown text me which worked out much easier during majority of the process too.

Through their services this year my son got a ton of help and resources to help him grow developmentally. Some resources were for me too. He was officially diagnosed with autism, I recommend you ask for a note from your case worker if needed as the process it very lengthy (four or more appointments). For the first time in awhile I have pictures of him sitting still with his weighted lizard and pressure vest they helped us get. (Both shown in pictures below)

They have access to a ton of resources, just be honest about what you need and challenges you re facing. If your child has sensitivities or texture preferences, they are willing to accommodate. If you don t need something say no because they are other families who do need it.

Very lousy organization. My woman had been a client of theirs for years and was always set up with caretakers that could not keep appointments. Let alone made racial comments and one caretaker talking about her breast implants. Tried to come between my woman and I as well. I advise you Do NOT trust this organization with loved ones!

There's no point in calling these folks unless you are going through their intake process. There must be misinformation within the community. No matter how many professionals refer you here, you should know that this center won't help you navigate or find assistance/resources. I guess they provide direct services themselves, but they won't help those people/families figure out how to receive or qualify for those services. I'm definitely relaying my failed experience to the professionals who recommended me here, as well as other families who need help.
