This is a great gym at least as far as the weights are concerned. I've not taken opportunity to wander around much yet but everything is new and nice. The staff are cheerful. I'm going to love going to this gym while I attend Uni.

Gym is nice but if employees who work there stop wandering around/near you when you re working out. They walk around you like people are going to steal something. Literally harassing people with eyes by staring at them.

I got a day pass while I was visiting and it was worth it. The new guest/checkin process was easy and fast. The gym was really nice with lots of new equipment. I wish I lived here/went to school here so I could make this my home gym.

I had no idea that this center had opened almost a year ago. I asked my friend for a napping area in the campus and he guided me to this center. I was shocked how amazing this place was with all the fancy entrance, basketball court, swimming pool and a fancy gym. Awesome place I highly recommend.

I am a frequent user of the of facility in the academic year and a student of CU Denver and was really disappointed today when I was physically in front of the main entry doors and had a menstruation emergency and was denied access to use the restroom to do my basic necessity. I was right on the corner tabling at New Student Orientation when the emergency happened. I walked into the facility, was looked over by staff members and was ignored. No one helped me until I spoke up and asked if I can use the restroom real quick due to my energy. They asked if I had a membership to which I responded, no". They said I couldn t use the restroom unless I paid for a summer membership and thus only for members. This really frustrated me as a place that claims to ensure wellness denied me access to do my basic necessity in a time of an emergency. I ended up bleeding through my pants once I reached the next nearest restroom. This contradicts everything that the Lola and Rob Wellness Center is supposed to represent. If you are a community member, staff, or student avoid going if you have a restroom emergency. They will not acknowledge your health and wellness emergency.

Can t bring a skateboard into a recreational center and put it into the locker because it could damage the locker is ludicrous. I ve been doing it for the past three weeks with no issues. This is not a review of the gym and equipment, but the staff handled that specific instance. Enforce the policy always not just sometimes when it is convenient.
