Great service! I had the pleasure of working with Bill Barnett of Dental Planet on a recent purchase, and had a great experience. I was a bit hesitant about purchasing refurbished equipment, but their prices and reviews gave me confidence to try. I ordered 2 adec dental chairs and 4 stools, all reupholstered with matching ultra leather. I had my repair guy inspect and install the chairs, and he was pleasantly surprised. There were a couple plastic caps missing from the light, which Dental Planet sent in the mail immediately. Bill Barnett was my sales specialist, who was available, patient, knowledgable, and just an overall pleasant guy. I'll definitely be buying from them again!
I read some older reviews about Dental Planet which gave me some misgivings about the company. However, we had bought a couple of refurbished items from them and were happy with the purchases.
When it was time to equip a new office I visited their facility in Wichita Falls, Texas to personally check the company out. I was impressed by the facility and the people, I proceeded to equip our new office with a mix of their refurbished and new equipment. I saved about $75,000 compared to new equipment, it all looks wonderful and works perfectly. The delivery and installation went off without a hitch and I am one happy dentist. (They even refunded the cost of my visit to their office!)
I had been a customer for over 30 years, through various locations and owners. They have "got it down pat" with a great combination of technicians, front office, and management. I am now retired, but I still appreciate how they made my years in practice so much easier. They are easy to deal with and do great work for a reasonable price. I was starting the remodel of a dental practice I purchased, which hadn't been remodeled in 25+ years. I was in desperate need of new(er) chairs amongst other things. Our practice is very busy, and it was necessary to remodel in phases. I purchased a remodeled ADEC chair and a brand new Beaver State delivery unit for another chair. Due to some construction delays, I didn't have the chair installed right away. Once Dental Planet's contracted technician installed the chair, he determined that there were numerous things wrong with the chair (improper connections, etc). Since it was past the 90 day warranty, DP would not cover anything. They were well aware that it was never used by me until installed by their contracted technician (who found the problems). After numerous emails attempting to address the situation, DP declined to cover the repair bill. Due to this experience, I informed the DP rep that I'll likely purchase the remaining equipment (for my other 4 operators) from someone else. His response, "I understand"... and that is all his email said. Nothing else. Absolutely terrible customer service. Buyer beware. I now have more than $500 invested in rewiring the chair, and fixing other things that were problematic. Note: I have been using this chair for less than one year.

Recently had Dental Planet pick up three of my stools that were looking a little worn. Within a few days, the stools returned looking brand new with new upholstery and padding. Very satisfied.

I had a lot of issues with them, I bought four chairs and a compressor and a vacuum. The order was missing key parts and they never sent it to me. They tried to sell them to me instead. Overall experience, I was disappointed in this company.

I ordered a pan/ceph from these guys and have been very pleased with their service. Dale was great! I was always able to reach him by phone when I needed to. Will use them again when I need a new xray machine.
Bought a new dental delivery cart and expected it to be ready to install, which it was not! Great learning experience....not in a good way. It needed to be assembled! Maybe if you live near their facility you will be ok, but I do not. The unit is beautiful and as soon as the equipment tech gets here I will like it a lot more. Bottom line, the expense was more that I expected.
