Don't buy here. I test drove the car one day it seemed ok. I came back bought the car the next and drove it home. I had the car for maybe 30 minutes and the engine started knocking. I brought the car back and they did not honor my extended warranty to fix the vehicle. However, they did take the vehicle back. Worst car experience ever.

Helpful staff that isn't overly pushy about trying to sell you any particular car. I've bought my last two used cars through this dealer and had very positive experiences both times. Their garage also works quickly and is reasonably priced. They're also honest with me and tell me if it's cheaper to take my car elsewhere for a fix. :)

I feel bad about leaving this review but people need to slow down ....
I was in a 'not my fault' car accident that totaled my vehicle. I was sold a car that I can barely afford because I was in a hurry (my fault).
When I wrecked my vehicle, it was not paid off and I had GAP insurance on it, vehicle and insurance purchased from them. All I asked for was to see if I was owed my GAP insurance proration and I asked the car dealer several times about it to which, I always received the messages back, "I will find out, these guys never tell me anything." I emailed the car dealership because I never heard back to which they forwarded me back to the dealer and still the same response. I eventually gave up which is what they wanted me to do. The car dealer also screwed up the OnStar services so I never got to benefit that either. OnStar was a nightmare in and of itself.
I took my vehicle in for a scheduled maintenance (oil change). When I bought my vehicle, they didn't tell me about my two free oil changes. I was so surprised and happy when I got my first free oil change! As the gentleman was standing with me, signing the paperwork, he said, 'I will see you next time for your second free old change." to which I replied, "I get another one??!!" and he said, 'Yes, when you purchase a new car, you first two oil changes are free." Alrighty then!!!
This week, I was in desperate need of an oil change. I had been busy with the holidays and a death in my family so I was in like 3 thousand miles over an oil change. Assuming my oil change is free, I go in and get my oil change. When I had to pay, they could tell I was upset. Again, I didn't read my paperwork and he tried to justify by saying that the, '2 free oil changes were only good up to 24,000 miles'. He Should have read my paperwork too because I would have never received the second oil change for free anyway so you shouldn't have said it was free after the first one because I bought my car at 15,115 miles. This might not seem like a big deal but everything has just been a frustrating experience.

I stopped at Ray Dennison Chevy to see the 2014 offerings and met Lance Klumb - sales agent. Lance was GREAT to work with. He provided an abundance of information, answered all my questions, and was very friendly and personable. Also, and just as important, Lance did not push me into buying at that moment but was there to assist with anything I needed. Salesmen like Lance make car shopping a pleasurable experience. I will be back when I am ready to buy. Thank you for the experience.

When we bought my car last year Steve Haynes was so helpful, we returned and bought a car for my husband this year. We just thought we'd go in and "look", didn't even take in the title for a trade-in! But Steve understood just what we would want, and took us straight to it! In both cases, the car we drove out with was the only one we test-drove, because Steve nailed them immediately! He's easy to be around, extremely knowledgeable about the inventory, and was able to satisfy our financial concerns. He's followed up with us to make sure we're happy, and we couldn't be happier!

Had some issues at first but Ray Dennison was very cooperative and resolved all my issues.

I have always had great service at Ray Dennison Chevrolet in Pekin. Staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable. Steve Haynes is a great salesman, and really knows the cars they sell.

I brought it back in to have something re-checked, that was on an open ticket. i was recharged the same amount that i previously paid the month before. Not to mention i had to have the service department fix my tail light ( they tried charging me for) that they did not put back together correctly. and they were suppose to fix a .on the front tire that is still not fixed! and they were suppose to replace the gas that they ran out of my car( and put extra miles on) while they had it for a week, which did not happen.
the manager of the service department seems to be decent but the others out there.......

I would like to say Thank You to Jim Wisner on getting us in our Chevy Cruze and also Kathy Beal in the Service Dept. I really appreciate all the effort in resolving our issue. I would like to apologize on the rough start we had but I am greatful the in the end it was resolved. Thanks again

My Wife and I went to Ray Dennison and couldn't have been more pleased with our car buying experience. Do yourself a favor and ask for Chris Kamp. He was very easy to work with and was very knowledgeable about the cars we were interested in. The great thing about our experience is how laid back it was there. We didn't feel any pressure at all to buy and they gave us a fair price on our trade-in. Buying a new car is always stressful, but Chris made it as painless as possible. Three years ago I bought a truck from Ray Dennison Chevrolet for $4000. Three days after I drove it off the lot the truck broke down and could not be driven. I found that the repair was going to cost $3000, just one thousand less than I paid for the vehicle. They refused to fix the truck. The dealership knowingly sold me a bad vehicle and refused to make it right after the fact.

I had a unique service request requiring use of GM s Tech 2 (scan tool) to reprogram a function on my car. After speaking to several other dealers I was losing hope that I could find someone competent enough to understand what I was asking for. I gave it one more shot and called Ray Dennison. Allen in the service department knew exactly what I was talking about and took care of me the same day. Thanks Allen!

Here's how good Ray Dennison Chevrolet is: I live in New York City and went all the way to central Illinois to purchase my Chevy Traverse from the good folks there. I knew I'd get a great car at a great price and I haven't been disappointed - the Traverse is still running beautifully six years later!

I've also known the family for years - they're honest, hardworking and devoted to their customers. Hard to go wrong with these folks. Five stars!

I was disappointed with the service this visit. I went in for an oil change and a tire repair and it took an hour and a half. The repair cost $25 which I thought was steep. After they finished they washed the truck for me. When I went to leave I realized they washed it with the sliding rear window open. I received a sorry. Then the tech. Forgot to reset the oil life on the computer, so I had to go back. Lastly they rotated the tires and did not check the pressure. I put air in them when I got home. All in all the experience sucked.
