We purchased a 2019 GMC Canyon, Denali, from inventory on their lot. On the scheduled purchase date, we were picked from our hotel and took care of all purchasing. financing and inspection of our new truck. All the employees were very pleasing to work with and we were treated with professional sales and service. However, we did not arrange financing on our own and let the dealer make that arrangement. As a result, we were provided a much higher apr interest rate then expected, and told that it was to obtain the cash discounts on the purchase price of the truck. As a result, we will have to refinance our loan through another lender.

They are very unprofessional. Do not buy a lifted truck from them. Two weeks after having my new 80,000$ truck several bults were loose one missing on my lift kit that they installed. Didn t do nothing about it but tighten them down. Also bought a top end bed cover for my truck that they installed. Come to find out they drilled wrong holes in my truck. So what do they do they put plastic plugs in the holes they drilled.Really! It s been one thing after another I can still keep going but I think you got the point. Very unprofessional

My deal was far from normal as I was flying in from Pittsburgh and having the car shipped home. Matt Knapp went above and beyond with staying in touch with me up until our flight with pictures and documents I requested. He picked us up at the airport and told me about the town. When a clerical issue came up out of Matt s hands Beau was quick to resolve the problem and keep the deal on the table. This is the 56 car I ve bought and I ve worked for dealers all my life. Dennis Dillon is top notch and will continue to be with employees like Matt and Beau on their team!

Awesome experience! I live in California so was kind of nervous about purchasing out of the state. Sales person was Andrew (awesome sales person) he was very helpful and accommodated me with all my needs and there were plenty! He assured me everything was up to California emissions policy several times and even face timed me to show the truck. I also had Garrett and Paul do some extra stuff to the 2017 Denali durmax. Accessories department was also very accomdating to my needs! If you're out of state or even in Idaho I recommend this place highly I honestly can't say enough to show my appreciation. They deserve more then 5 stars!! Will be back many times over!

Looking for a car is pretty nerve racking. I went several dealerships in town including Bronco Motors across the street. No one had helped me better than Bill Bauscher from Dennis Dillon. He was very friendly and hospitable. Actually listened to me unlike other salesmen I have dealt with before. He worked had to get me a car within the price range I needed. Thanks to him I am now driving a brand new 2014 Mazda 3. I couldn't be happier with the way things turned out. Thank you Bill so much for all your help. If it wasn't for you, I would have probably been ripped off by other dealers.

I called the 800 number listed on the Dennis Dillon website and was put through to Matthew Knapp in the sales department. I was interested in a used Yukon Denali and since it was so cold I asked Matt if he could put the vehicle inside so I could look it over. When I arrived at the dealership I was very impressed...Matt had the vehicle in the showroom washed and warm. What a great feeling. He went through everything with me and pointed out all of the potential issues without me having to pick it apart. Matt was very honest and sincere with his sales approach. Once I drove the vehicle I realized I really wasn't going to be happy with a used car and after a few hours of working with Matt I ended up leasing a new 2014 Yukon Denali. Matt and all of the staff at Dennis Dillon were outstanding to work with and I would highly recommend Dennis Dillon GMC for your next vehicle purchase. Thanks Matt and team! I love my new Denali!

I am upgrading my previous rating of 2 to three stars. The salesperson in the GMC unit contacted me and has resolved the issues I had with them. I believe he is sincere in trying to make things right. However I still believe that the RV unit has a way to go, both in dealing directly with the customer and coordinating with the GMC unit regarding trade-in values. I sold the motorhome to one of their competitors for $9,000 over DD's appraisal value the following day.

Great experience working with Jacob Hallum. Although I already knew the truck I wanted, Jacob was energetic and very informational. He sped up the process as fast as he could and was very personable. I would definitely recommend Jacob and Dennis Dillon to friends and family. The only negative was the wait for the financing, however, that was due to the volume of customers in the same boat as myself. Overall good experience.

Had electrical issues off and on (over a year) in my '10 Silverado. After months of head scratching, brought it to D.D. GMC, and they fixed it less than 2 weeks. They did an amazing job, and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get there Chevy/GMC serviced here.

Great experience at Dennis Dillon GMC. This was the first time I completed a long distance purchase for a vehicle. After putting a $1000 deposit down on the truck it was taken off the sales lot and reserved for us. Three weeks later we flew into Boise. Josh picked us up at the airport and brought us back to the dealership. The truck was washed and ready to go. Josh was up front and honest about the whole process so there were no surprises. He took the time to go over all of the details about the truck before we left. We would definitely purchase from Dennis Dillon GMC again.

Dennis Dillon was by far the best experience buying a vehicle I ve ever had! The Sales Specialist Matthew Knapp took care of all of my requests in a timely and very professional matter. I also want to give thanks to Rob the Sales Manager and the topnotch parts department!!! From now on I will not buy anywhere else except Dennis Dillon. It was an eight hour drive to get my brand new GMC Sierra home but I save thousands with a no hassle upfront price. Excellent Job Team Dillon!!!

Because we don't live in Boise, we arranged a weekend meeting with Tim Wurtz through Bob. Both men were very knowledgable and helpful regarding the vehicle we were interested in purchasing. The process was quick...Tim got us in and out in just under 3 hours understanding that we had somewhere to be. Our salesman was Josh & I cant say enough great things about him. He listened to us, was thoughtful & most professional throughout our experience.

The General Manager, Rob is great too! He made us feel at home and extremely valued!!

The Manager, John was great also, with the same qualities as Rob and Josh.

The finance man, John is a true professional!! We left his office gaining a new friend. He also took care of our financial needs in a most thoughtful manner.

These men made our experience of trading in our car & buying a new one so smooth. What a great team they are!!! We will call Josh when we are ready to buy another car or truck!!!

Had a five star experience up to the point of the final price/purchase on the new vehicle. I believe there was a hiccup in the advertised pricing and rebates overlooked by Dennis Dillon that affected the final price. Upper management has reached out to me today personally and i look forward to working this out. When this is corrected i will change my rating to 5 stars.

Should we start with the terrible in your face salesman or an unreliable gas gauge??? My sales guy was terrible and in my face with his coffee and cigarettes breath the entire time. Even after I asked for a new salesman I still ended up with him... The truck I bought for $60,000 sat on their lot for 3 weeks as they told me it was on hold and sold... Not the case, but you think they would figure it out... The only good guy over there was the finance guy, but now that I have paid for the truck even he is no help.
As I am driving through Utah my truck breaks down or so I thought... Gas gauge said I had plenty of gas to get to my next stop so I called Chevy as this truck is a 2017 with 10,000 miles on it. On the phone with them for 45 minutes and 3 hours later a tow truck finally shows up... 3 hours in 90 degree heat with 2 small Children and no AC. Get towed to High Desert in Utah and I won't even tell you how terrible they were... Took them 3 hours to tell me the truck is out of gas and that I'm pretty much an idiot and charged me for their time. Of course Chevy customer service took their side so they would no have to reimburse me... So who is to blame??? Salesman never told me that my gas gauge is unreliable, I'm not an idiot as they make me out to be. If I thought it was gas I would of hitchhiked to the next gas station... Chevy makes a badass truck, but once you have paid for it they could care less about you. I cancelled my extended warranty I was talked into 45 days ago and still have not been reimbursed...
My On Star didn't work and has never along with my internet and phone charger. Dropped my truck off for some "warranty" work and 3 hours later they hadn't even touched my truck or changed the oil and 4 weeks later nothing has been fixed...
If your going to use this dealership just know they will not not help you 1 bit after they have your money... You would think on a $60,000 dollar truck they would take care of you and want you to come back. It's called customer service and it is DEAD at this dealership.

When my wife and I visited I was very clear about my timeframe and wanting to move forward with the purchase of a car for our Anniversary in the next couple of days. You completely blew me off so you could "move cars" to your sales event. Then come to find out you sold the vehicle I wanted out from underneath me and didn't say a thing about it on the phone the next day. To me it would seem selling cars is more important than moving them to a sales lot for potential customers. I was a guarantee and even when I told you that directly you insisted stalling my transaction. I am writing to let you know that I will never purchase a vehicle from you. Customer service is absolutely the key ingredient to a successful business. I signed a contract last night after a very efficient process with Edmark on a Kia Sorento. As a consumer I do not recommend doing business here. Take a short drive to Nampa and be treated like a King! No games. No obnoxious haggling or sales tactics.

I just bought a car 2 weeks ago and super happy with what I got. We called Dennis Dillon to test drive and we did it in that day. Nino is a great salesman, I like him because he is not to pushy or rush us to get a car. He is very friendly and easy to work with. Other sales are also friendly and greeted us with smile and when we walked in they asked how we are doing and ready to help us.

The only small little thing is the finance dept. looked not happy because I didn't buy warranty, but hey I understand because that's how they make more. I just wish he would be friendly even when I said no to the extra warranty :-)

Overall, I have a great experience with them. Look for Nino, he is very nice and easy to work with!

This may be a late review, but I just checked Credit Karma and since I bought my 2012 Xterra from them through their program that helps people with credit challenges, only one year ago, I had a 489 credit score. I'm at 652 now. I may have paid off a few other things along the way but that's because I finally have a reliable car to drive. Thanks Dennis Dillon GMC, and thanks to Northwest Leasing. You guys are the best!

This August I purchased a new GMC Yukon (stock #3D0332) this is the fourth vehicle I purchased from Dennis Dillon GMC for my business. My sales person was Tim W. (who covered for my regular guy Bob F. who was on his day off. Tim was wonderful to work with! The dealership was VERY honest and handled the transaction quickly. The finance department was great too, I was NOT pressured to purchase extra warranties or products - they simply offered the products and when I said no thanks they moved on.

Brought my car for the service. When I came to pick up I've noticed a big dent on the front bumper of my car. It looked like they backed another car into my car, or ran my car into an object. When I pointed it out to the employee that was helping me there the whole time he refused to take a responsibility. He stated that the dent was already there when I dropped off my car. I'm 100% sure that I left my car there without that dent! Few days later when they fixed the dent the employee that was helping me from the beginning agreed to not to charge me for the bumper repair. The dent on the bumper was fixed well enough to not be able to tell that the collision ever happened, but the car now has a noticeable gap in the area where the bumper connects to the fender on the passenger's side. They said that this is the best they can do and they cannot get rid of that gap. The other problem is that the car had a clean CarFax report no collisions nothing before I dropped it off, but now I'm assuming they will report that accident as a collision. I will never do business with Dennis Dillon again.

Our deal was complicated- early lease turn-in to buy new 2020 Terrain. Richie & Joey had their work cut out for them as my husband wanted the deal to work how he saw it. We weren't 100% thrilled with the deal but accepted & went over to finance, when Joey suddenly called & stopped us. He knew something was 'off' with the lease trade & found a much better option which saved us the money we needed to be 100% satisfied. It took a couple days to come to fruition, but it did - exactly as my husband was wanting. Joey is amazing - he just knew something wasn't right & he went the extra mile to make everything come together. Richie came over 3 times when he wasn't even scheduled to work to help make this deal happen. Honestly everyone there was so helpful - additional shout outs to: Randy for remembering us from the lease & personally helping + checking in; Jake for the excellent technical support with my phone & learning the awesome new bells & whistles; and truly everyone involved. Fun crew, and we truly felt they had our best interests at heart. Love my new car & we will be back.

Needed O/L/F, did work for some transmission fluid leaks, and checked and ran diagnostics for service engine light and also did a great job polishing/ cleaning my head-light lens. We arrived at the Dennis Dillon Event at the Expo Center in Boise today with no intention of actually making a purchase. We anticipated buying a vehicle within the next couple of weeks, and only went today for the sole purpose of shopping around. Fortunately, Joey Looney introduced himself, and quickly zeroed in on exactly what we were looking for...and I mean EXACTLY! He took us directly to the very vehicle we described, in the specific price range we had budgeted, and then he made the whole purchasing process as simple and seamless as possible. He was attentive without being pushy, friendly without being insincere, and professional without being arrogant. Was met out in the rain by Tye who was most willing to get wet and help me look at the cars on my list. He was also the only salesman patient enough to allow me to drive the same 2 cars a couple times each while explaining the features and pro's and con's of each. I ended up choosing a Malibu. He then personally took it to the gas station after hours to fill the tank and check air pressure before I took delivery. I WILL recommend Tye and the Dennis Dillon dealership to all I know and return for all my future purchases. Thanks Guys!!!

Great experience! We have been looking for a new vehicle for me for a few months. Lots of research, lots of weighing pros and cons. When we test drove the GM Yukon, it was a great vehicle, fair price, and the sales agent, Reggie Hill, was no pressure and very informative. We came back a full month later and purchased the vehicle. We worked with Accessories on floor mats, wheels and tires and the prices were fair, Paul showed us the website to see what we would pay on our own, etc. Finally, we worked with John in finance and he was informative, quick, and pleasant. When I received my vehicle, Reggie walked me through everything and helped me transfer all of my contents to the new car. The detail shop did a great job cleaning and washing the vehicle. We did find one small chip in the paint and management is working on resolving that when I bring it in for all of the accessories! Overall, fair price and a great team of people to work with!

UPDATED: These guys called me, were very professional, and listened to a rundown of my experience. It's obvious they care about getting better. I'm impressed and will likely return because of the Service Center Manager.

Original Review: 2.5 stars. This is a review for the service center. Just OK. Decent staff friendliness--nothing special, seemed a bit irritable. Price was good. Didn't offer to wash my car with my oil change. They offered this over at the Dennis Dillon Nissan, not sure why they didn't offer it here. No refreshments stocked in the refreshments fridge in the waiting area. Didn't try nickel and diming me with up-sales, which I appreciated. They were straight shooters in that regard. Overall, an average experience. Both good and bad were equal.

Reggie the sales guy and Joey the desk manager who works with getting loans approved are both awesome. Make sure and look Reggie up he'll take good care of you when it comes to picking out the exact vehicle you want. I'm a repeat customer with Dennis Dillon GMC and I'll be using them again.

I was looking for an Equinox. And was approached by Andrew. There was no pressure at all and he gave me as much information he had on the car. I left to go look around some more, but just knew I would go back. Everyone was very helpful the only things I would say was not a good experience was that the equinox didn't have a spare key with it. That was a bummer, but overall everything else was great. After the transmission on my 1992 Lexus ES300 went out, I was in the market for a new car. I had never leased before, but I was very interested in the new 2013 Kia Optima. Scott Kawahara was able to work with me and got a great deal on financing for my new car. I even got a thousand dollar competitor discount just for showing my registration on the old Lexus! I am very excited to be leasing because the monthly payments are so much more affordable and after 39 months, I can get another brand new car! We are from Nevada and found the price offered by Dennis Dillon Auto Park to be, exactly as offered on line, the service was excellent, and every promise was met. We saved enough money that we made a mini vacation out of our purchase. We worked with Matt Knapp, he was our sales person from the start to the end, and he became more than a sales person, he became a friend. He accepted several frantic calls, immediately, and with the answers needed to calm our worries. Everybody was very friendly and understanding. I am fresh out of a bankruptcy, and they had a program to fit my needs. I was able to get into a vehicle without a ton of money down, and surprisingly my interest rate is not terrible. This is a good way for anybody in my situation to start building credit.
